Summary: As biased as they come
Review: If you are already a Clinton hater, and are seeking to solidify your viewpoint, this is the book for you. However, if you are interested in an unbiased account of the now Senator and former First Lady, then this book will be a sore disappointment.

While even the most staunch Clinton-supporter will be forced to admit that the couple are not perfect, and that they have made mistakes, this book refuses to admit even the smallest triumphs into its pages. FYI, he was well liked enough to be re-elected.

The next time I want to read writing of this caliber, I will turn to the pages of the National Enquirer for the latest news. Anyone with a diserning mind will see this for what it is, another chance to mud-sling and pander to the lowest common denomonator.

Summary: The Woman behind Bill
Review: This book should should be read by anybody who has an interest in Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, or politics. You can disagree with the conclusions of the author, but you cannot ignore the facts Olson presents.

You are taken through the life of Hillary Clinton during which you see her quest for power and her socialist views grow. Further, after seeing the influence Hillary had on Bill and his presidency, you can start to understand why Hillary spent so much time covering their lies, mistakes, and crimes up. She knew that Bill's legacy as a president would influence her and her goal to be president. The infamous line "it was a vastright-wing conspiracy" was not something she held to be true, rather it was an attempt at damage control.

Take the time to read this book. Like Hillary Clinton or not, after reading this book you will have a better understanding of who she actually is and who she hopes to become.

Summary: Hillary defines liberal elitism
Review: The book is very imformative and should be added to any Clinton-hating library. After seeing Mr. Funkenstein's "brilliant" review, I would suggest that you review the book on it's merits and not give it a negative review because your heroine is getting bashed. Barbara Olsen tells it like it is. Hillary is an arrogant, corrupt liberal elitist who will say and do anything to remain in power.

Summary: Visionary
Review: The first in a long line of Hillary-examining books, Barbara Olson had the foresight to see the ambitions of this woman for the danger that they were, are, and will be. A gripping, edge-of-seat true-life tale of America's most dangerous politician.

Summary: An important and informative read
Review: Barbara Olson sheds light on the things that the Clintons did while in office - and by and large that the American public never heard about. Is it simple coincidence that many reviewers didn't know much of what Olson exposes to the light of day? I hardly think so. As for one reviewer's echo of Hillary Clinton's claim that a "vast right-wing conspiracy" tried to bring down her husband - he seems to have a done a thorough job of that himself. Indeed, if any conspiracy were in place, why was Hillary elected to the Senate? Enough said there, I think. The book is a must-read for anyone who wants to know what the Clintons obviously never intended ANYONE to find out!

Summary: Great book - Learn the truth
Review: The world lost a great author, a great person, and a great seeker of truth on September 11, 2002. Barbara Olson's book lays bare the REAL Hillary Clinton. Not the smiling phony that you see on television, speaking at half speed so we can "all understand" (because we must be real idiots), but the one who manipulates, controls, and uses people to one end --- POWER. Not power for you and me, but power for her.

The most telling quote is when Hillary is asked at a much younger age what she wants to do with her life. An excited look comes over her face and she says, "I want to RUN something!"

She wants to run the United States and your life. Read this book especially if you think Hillary is a "wonderful person" or you think you might vote for her for President in the 2004 election.

Everything Barbara Olson references has a footnote source to the TRUTH. You may not like what you read, but you will read the truth.

Summary: a great book
Review: this is a great book, exactly due to its attept to portrait hillary clinton as a demon. i certainly hope she would run for president and i will vote for her if she does. what olson describes as dangerous ideas that have influenced mrs. clinton are actually the very ideas underlying the basics of liberal arts education in new england. i certainly had no idea before how lucky i was to go to college in a liberal environment, otherwise i could have ended up with distorted views of what values are really important just like mrs. olson. it is a must read for every clinton fan, since it shows that the reason conservatives are so touchy about the clintons is not so much about their personal choices, but about their progressive values. and upholding these very values is a must for every liberal.

Summary: Well Done!!
Review: This book is enough to scare any patriotic American. Barbara Olsen was a brave woman to go ahead and print it , considering what has happened to some others who crossed Hilary or "The Clintons". It is no wonder Krushev said "We will take you without firing a shot." This is what he meant--We will infiltrate your media, children, congress men and women, senate, any official ,newspapers and keep on badgering until you have become a changed country. Hilary is still adhering to the
Saul Alinsky rules for radicals. She has done what they teach all radicals--to dress and talk like the establishment and continue the agenda of a true radical, while seeming to be a regular guy, meanwhile demoralizing and destroying America. In other words be a "Wolf In Sheep's Clothing." According to the book "Hell To Pay" she has known Tom Dashle for a long time. It is interesting to watch her when she can get right up under his shoulder and mastermind him like she did Bill Clinton. "Dashle, the next Bill Clinton."
Also, former federal prosecutors don't make mistakes, Barbara Olsen did a terrific job of exposing Hilary Clinton for what she is. We should all be frightened that she is in our senate!

Summary: Lib's are whacked...
Review: It just goes o show you that whenever the facts about the most currupt administration in this century (the Clintons) are revealed those who are ideologically tied to liberalism can't face them.

The book is sharp and to the point and gives great insight into the character and motives of the "Senator from NY".

Also for the record:

1. Reagan and G.W. Bush inherited recessions from thier Democratic predecessors and led us out of them with tax cuts and free markets ideas. While Bush Sr. let the Dem's talk him into a tax increase which slowed the economy.

2. Enron is a non-political issue. They donated to both parties and in fact the clinton administration gave them tax payer suppored loans and brokered thier deal in India.

3. There are three kinds of Republicans:

Entrepeneurs who fuel the economy and create jobs.

People who believe in self reliance and non-intrusive
goverment.

Patriots who believe that America is a great nation and
do not hold it and its military in contempt!

Also a good read is Schippers (a Chicago Democrat) book "Sell Out", which gets inside the Clinton impeachment trial.

Summary: A Very Dangerous Woman
Review: This was one of the most educational books I have read in my life. Olson writes a compelling story about Hillary Clinton, starting with her middle-class upbringing in suburban Illinois. Growing up with a house full of men, Hillary felt she had to excel at everything in order to win her father's approval, which she never seemed to get. This was the only time I felt any empathy for this woman.
We've all heard the blatherings about the Clintons' scandals via the media. But the media never came close to telling us the truth, especially concerning their dealings with the Chinese government, who now has possession of our nuclear secrets. Barbara Olson not only illustrates their involvement but gives an unsettling picture of how Hillary Rodham Clinton's mind works. She is a megalomaniac who wants nothing more than absolute power over the American people, especially our children. Olson also gives us the scoop about Whitewater, the Lewinsky fiasco, and scores of other calamaties and injustices that went on inside the White House during their double-term. Basically, the Clintons perfected the Nixonian technique for covering their tracks, destroying a countless number of lies both figuratively and literally.
I would have liked to have read what really happened to Vincent Foster, Ron Brown, and several other officials who met untimely deaths. Olson barely skimmed this issue, but told how Vince Foster was Hillary's lawyer and possible lover. I can understand why Olson couldn't touch that issue, given her position in the Justice Department. But she portrays the Clintons for who they really are, slick criminals who will use anyone and any means to secure their agenda.
I recommend this book to every American citizen, whether they were (or are still) pro-Clinton or not. Hell to Pay is loaded with facts that we cannot ignore.
