Summary: Medicine Cards: The Discovery of Power
Review: Excellent divination method and well-written book. I recommend it to anyone who follows a Native American path, or who just wants to learn more about their power animals.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Intriguing!
Review: I am intrigued by these cards and the information that is included. It was fascinating to do my "Totem". I was amazed at the truths these animals portrayed. If you are curious about yourself, and your spirituality, these are a great place to begin!

Summary: These cards are becoming the only deck I ever use!
Review: I began delving into the tarot as a tool for both divination and healing at the beginning of this year. I have found that most of the tarot books I have read are cryptic, difficult to understand, and filled with images of impending doom. These cards are TOTALLY different! The messages I get from them are almost always crystal clear. Also, at the end of a reading I feel uplifted and hopeful instead of confused and anxious. These cards not only tell you when something in your life is out of balance, they offer a solution! I strongly recomend them to anyone interested in the tarot, mysticism, or native beliefs.

Summary: medicine card by jamie sams
Review: I BOUGHT THESE CARDS AFTER PURCHING HER BOOK DANCING THE DREAM I can not tell in this short space how much these card have help me find my path of enlightment. I have been looking for different ways for peace of mind for years. Thank you Jamie for showing me the way thru "all of relations". I have to say when I got home I wonder what the cards would say. I have always been impressed with spiders. And when I did my totem reading the frist card I picked was the spider. Also I love dragon flys and that was my last card of the seven. Any one wanting to connect with nature and find your path thru nature. this is a must. Also when I got it was the last in the store so don't put off getting these cards. you will be amazed. MUST READ DANCING THE DREAM. I have read many a book on finding happieness and this was the best by far/

Summary: A "must" read ...different perspective on spirituality!!
Review: I found this book/cards to be very enlightening. I use the Just for Today version EVERY DAY... it helps me to focus on what I need to be aware of for the day. I use the card spreads as often as I can; I find them very useful when I have a particular problem or issue that I am facing.

Summary: A good deck.
Review: I give this deck five stars because of the nine "blank" cards included. Recently and mysteriously, I lost my card no. 2--the hawk. I have no clue where it is, but because there are nine "blank" cards in the deck all that's needed to replace a missing card is a black, felt-tip, permanant marker. I used one to make up a replacement hawk card, and it doesn't look bad when it fits in with the rest of the deck. I know that these "blank" cards are supposed to be used for other purposes as outlined in the book that comes with the deck, but unlike with other decks, if you lose a card from this deck, it can be easily "replaced."

Summary: By far my favorite cards
Review: I have only used these cards for a short time but already feel quite comfortable with them. The artwork is beautiful, the book quite concise and the readings are right on. I look forward to many years with these medicine cards and have already put my other cards to the sidelines. These are truly insightful and if you can actually let yourself be calm the answers are quite clear. I would recommend these cards to anyone with a true heart; better yet, to anyone who wants to know more about themselves and isn't afraid to ask. Take the readings to heart and you will become a better person. Let them lead you on the path of knowledge and enlightenment and you will make a better world for us all!

Summary: A pivotal deck for those who love animals.
Review: I have so enjoyed this deck over the years. When I first recieved it, following the easy directions for use, I was able to determine my entire totom (all the animals that influence me). I found it to be amazingly accurate. The system allows the user to understand the symbolic meaning of the animals which appear to us, in dreams, in person, or I even count the ones on TV. Thier messages are always timely and useful. The cards are lovely, the book is complete, easy to use, with just wonderful stories that make it very easy to remember and use the system quickly. I love it. Thanks to the creators.

Summary: Awesome Deck
Review: I just purchased Medicine Cards and already I'm enthralled with them!! It strives to give you a deeper sense of the world around you through the eyes and ways of animals and since I've always loved animals it makes me feel connected! I recommned this deck to all who want to learn about Mother Earth through the eyes and hearts of animals. You should also buy Ted Andrews Animal Speak in conjuction so you get a more in depth description of the animals!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The animals teach us lessons in life -- a fine book.
Review: I live in a rural area, where I frequently see wildlife. Whenever an animal crosses my path, I look up its significance in this book. Each common North American animal has a different lesson to teach us. For example, butterfly, who goes through many stages, from larva to coccoon, to fully developed butterfly, teaches us that we, too, may find ourselves experiencing life "stages." I found this information enlightening, even as a Christian. There's much we can learn from God's creation.

I don't use the cards much, but the cards are beautifully decorated. They are to be used in a tarot-card-reading method. I almost gave this book four stars, because I thought the use of the tarot was a western cultural pegan tradition superimposed on Native American teachings, but I enjoyed the animal lessons too much, to give the book portion only four stars.
