Summary: Interesting, Different
Review: I own this deck and though it is different than a standard deck,it is very accurate. I recommend it.

Summary: They're okay, but...
Review: I prefer the White Eagle Medicine Wheel cards. These aren't very colourful and are quite simple in design. They aren't very imaginative. The hardcover plain book inside is a bit of a disappointment after seeing other sets. The book is okay as a reference, but not something I'm motivated to read from cover to cover. I suppose it serves as the tool it is meant to be, but I do prefer something more creative and colourful.

Summary: Excellent Book and cards
Review: I use these cards almost daily, and have done so for many, many years. These cards have helped to focus on certain aspects of my life as well as others. I HIGHLY recommend this set.

Summary: Medicine Cards as a Therapy Tool
Review: I use these cards in my Jungian psychotherapy practice, often getting them out when the person seems stuck, confused, or without a sense of direction. I have found them to be a powerful way of finding a guiding symbol which allows the process to move forward. I use them in a similar way in my own personal and professional journey.

Summary: Excellent worthwhile divination cards
Review: I was introduced to these cards about 10 years ago by a woman I babysat for who was going through a life overhaul. I gave myself many readings during that time and recently came across one that I had saved. Reading it now I could see how incredibly accurate it was. That is the main reason I like these cards. Every reading I do seems so timely, poignant, relevant to where I am. I often read the reverse meanings at the same time because they are very insightful. The spreads that the author suggests are great. The cards themselves are attractive, though the lack of variation in the medicine wheel surrounding each animal bothers me. This set would be very good for someone doing dream work and finding her/himself having many animal dreams.

Summary: Simply extraordinary
Review: I've been using these cards for years with remarkable results. After trying Tarot, I Ching, and other divinatory practices, I always come back to the Medicine Cards. I'm always astounded by how profound and accurate the readings are. The animals always reveal to me what I'm ignoring or neglecting or give me added insight into situations. The thoughts expressed in the explanations (meanings) of the animals are beautiful and spiritually uplifting. The cards themselves are also beautiful. My whole experience with the cards and the text has been wonderful. I highly recommend them as an adjunct to any spiritual path, especially those that seek greater harmony with nature.

Summary: Open to learning about yourself indirectly?
Review: I've owned these cards and the accompanying book for many years. There's really no woo-woo or ju-ju involved - simply another way to look at life from the perspective of the traditional Native American thoughts and tales about animals. There's not one bad card to pick (even upside down or contrary) and the messages are very powerful if you're open to learning from them in relation to your own life. We use these along with Angel Cards to start the new year out with big groups of friends, family and co-workers. I highly recommend these to anyone who likes alternative methods for learning more about yourself and your relationships on a different and very interesting level.

Summary: Medicine Cards
Review: I've owned these cards for about ten years, and have found them accurate and revealing. The cards are lovely and the descriptions fascinating. They are also an excellent way to introduce children to the art of divination, they love finding out that they are a turkey or an otter, etc. It's a lot of fun.

Summary: Outstanding!
Review: If you find animals always jumping into your path (on roads, in nature, etc.) this book is great at explaining why they may be calling to you! The stories and information have always been eye-opening and helpful when I'm seeking answers. This is a great tool to staying on the path. The only thing that would improve this book is to add more different animals!

Summary: Unique Divination Tool
Review: If you have an interest in Native American spirituality and like animals, you'll enjoy using these cards as a meditation tool. The characteristics represented by the animals provide insight into our strengths or weaknesses at any given time. The cards are rather plain, I would have liked a bit more design, but they are charming enough. The accompanying book gives a good basic explanation of both the positive and contrary meanings of the animals. The introduction to the book states that the teachings of the Native American cultures were diverse and complex, and that the cards and their meanings are intended to be a fun way to demonstrate a link between us and all of life, and in that they succeeded very well.
