Rating: Summary: Fools come in all shapes Review: Lets be honest here people. Howard Phillips Lovecraft INVENTED the necronomicon in September of 1922 as a literary tool to enrich several of his FICTIONAL works. This book is an obvious tactic to grift impressionable fools. If you'd like to believe that the power of the universe can be harnessed to your whim, then go right ahead, but don't waste your time on obvious hoaxes. If you'd like to read a few REAL titles instead of this poorly conceived abomination then I can recommend the following:Malleus Maleficarum and Compendium Maleficarum Francisco M. Guazzo; Ars Magna et Ultima, Raymond Lully; De Lapide Philosophico, Johannes Trithemius; Key of Wisdom, Artephius; Thesaurus Chemicus, Roger Bacon; Turba Philosophorum, Guglielmo Grataroli; De Furtivis Literarum Notis, Giovanni Battista della Porta; The Daemonolatreia, Remigius; Good luck finding them!

Rating: Summary: "Without Risk" Indeed... Review: Apparently, this book takes the complex and treacherous field of ctonic magick, and makes it safe and easy to use... "Azathoth for windows" I suppose... Pray it doesn't crash. A better Idea might be knowing what you're doing... "But what if I'm not smart enough to do it?" they asked... "Same advice I'd give if you weren't smart enough to operate a vehicle, or use a firearm... Give me that damn thing NOW, and stay the hell away from it!!!" He said.
Rating: Summary: i loved it Review: This book is very powerfull if followed correctly and not to be palyed with. I performed a love spell and in exactly 3 days my lover came to me. This spell is a miracle for sure if done correctly. I recommend to read modern magic by Donald kraig before doing this book just to know what magic is and how magic works.
Rating: Summary: What I've Been Looking For Review: I've been interested in the occult for years, but all other spell-casting books I've found have been too complecated- requiring too much space, too many people, and exotic materials. This is an alternative form of magic. I read through this in maybe 10 minutes. I intend on working some of this magic described here. If you are looking for simple spells to cast, this is perfect. As to whether it is fact or fiction, I'll wait and see.
Rating: Summary: Total [stink wad] Review: Absolute garbage. Contradictory of the full Avon Publishing's necronomicon. anyony familiar with H.P. Lovecraft or Sumerian mythology will quickly write this off - sometimes you can judge a book by its (back) cover.
Rating: Summary: Confused by the Necronomicon? This will clear it all up. Review: This book, which is essentially a summary of one small section of the Necronomicon, is highly recommded both for those who have read the Necronomicon but were confused by it, or for those who have not yet read the Necronomicon but would like to get right into spellcasting. This book does away with all of the theory and confusing language, and presents fifty spells which you can actually cast right now, with little or no material components required. Uses the Fifty Names of MARDUK as a basis for casting spells.
Rating: Summary: Works but with a rebound Review: I've tried the Necronomicon spellbook but the rituals always ask for something in exchange for what you've asked. It's a very powerful book and it not to be played with by amateurs. There is a lacking preparatory ritual entiled: The Gates of the Necronomicon. If any one out there knows where I can get this book then please tell me. This will enhance the ritual. Thank a lot. pdbph
Rating: Summary: Eerieness Review: After recieving an on-line copy of this book, I proceeded to by a real paperback version. Simple to say, I was a bit disappointed...I didn't feel an evil aura, and the book hasn't levitated yet. But tonight has been different...I finally got the nerve to try and summon one of the sumerian deities. It went pretty smooth at first, nothing at all happened during the ritual. But now...About two hours later, while talking to my girlfriend on the phone, I am starting to get strange feelings...Starting to hear strange sounds. Like something is moving around behind me and like I am being watched or reviewed somehow. My mind wasn't even focusing on the book or the ritual, as I was busy talking to my girlfriend, so the idea that my mind is playing tricks on me is hard to swallow. What have I done? Now more than ever I realize, even if the Simon necronomicon is an act of fiction, the Gods told of within are real--The sumerian gods are the very, very, very old, anf if they do exist, no one has called upon them or prayed to them in 6,000 years. Whether the book is fact or fiction, you are still sending an invitation...And when you send an invitation, sometimes, just sometimes, something shows up.
Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK IS THE HOLY GRAIL ON PAPER! Review: ...This book is basically the easiest way to hold the universe in your hand! I tried almost every spell in it and without exaguartion, ALL WORKED! It's so simple and unlike other magical arts, it focuses on the imagination and true will. Basically, all you need is two candles and a stick of incense, no herbs, no nothing, and your prayers will be answered in ways you can't imagine. It's good for everything, money, love, danger or even black magic and curses (be sure not to toy around with it). All in all, for the price, it's the best deal you'll ever have.
