Summary: This is a Great Book - Wow
Review: "Wow" that's what you'll say when you read this book. It is so beautiful and inspiring, Tiffany is open-minded, unlike a lot of Christians, and she is not afraid to tell it how it is. The lessons in this book gave me the courage and insight to see that I have control over my life, and can touch the "God-Spots" whenever I want. Once I started to believe that I could have good things happen in my life, and learned how to ask and how to listen, wonderful things started to manifest in my life. I can not tell you how inspiring this book is. I can't wait to read more from Tiffany Snow. Yes, the "self-help" lessons are simple - that's what makes the fact that they work even more remarkable. The NDE is great, the personal experiences will make you laugh, and make you cry! This is a great book!

Summary: Some will love it, some will hate it
Review: Bridging the gap between "New Age" Christianity and traditional Christianity Tiffany Snow examines what she considers to be gifts of the Holy Spirit. These are supernatural gifts the Spirit makes available to us if we choose to accept and use them. From the basics that most Christians believe, such as healing, to more radical concepts like channeling the Holy Spirit, the book is thought provoking and interesting reading. Some will find "Psychic Gifts in the Christian Life" revealing and life changing, others will find it blasphemous, most will find it somewhere in between and an interesting read.

Summary: Great Book, new concepts, new experiences
Review: Dr. Snow has a unique look on the supernatural world from a "birds-eye" view of her own personal near-death experience. From this, she came out from a strict religious background to a place of openness and spirituality, and brings the reader along with her like a best friend. Well-written, humorous at times, and light hearted, this author shows how the average person can develop the abilities for healing, finding missing children, etc. There are numerous personal accounts of her doing these things, and doing them well. Since she came into this "new life" from no previous background involved with the metaphysical, there is very little here that duplicates any other book. I give it a thumbs up.

Summary: One of the best NDE experiences you will ever read!
Review: Dr. Snow has experienced incredible spiritual moments which have enhanced her life and will change your thinking about what's possible, all of which started at her lightning strike NDE. From there, the book goes on to awaken the hidden senses behind the 5 sense, which have helped her to heal, find missing children, solve murder cases, etc. Yes, there is a underlying Source connection throughout, but this book can be appreciated by people with or without religious views. This is a must read regardless of beliefs. Much good is in this book about "the other side," but encourages awakening to unique abilities on this side, which is beyond religion and all about spirituality and becoming the enlightened person we are supposed to be.

Summary: You must read this book!!!
Review: Dr. Tiffany Snow is a wonderful author. This book will make you a believer or if you already are - it will help you to better understand yourself, and how powerful you are! This book highlights the transformation that occurs at true NDEs, and the psychic phenomena that often accompanies experiencers is shown clearly here. Wonderful!!!

Summary: Hey - there's an EXORCISM chapter in here!
Review: Hey - has anyone noticed there is a whole piece on exorcism in here? Its in the same chapter as the heirachy of angels, spirits, and what ghosts and energy tracings are. What a hoot. Ok, I did the "self-Deliverance" thing/prayer and actually coughed up something. True to God, I felt better afterward, and I haven't had the nightmares since. No matter what you believe, pick up the book just for that and get rid of the hair-ball, or demon, or whatever. God, the PAIN in my back WENT AWAY too. Two years from a car wreck, acupunture every week, didn't help much. What can I say?

Summary: She tells it like it is - bucks the crowd
Review: I am tired of "politically correct" language, and people who urge us to "stop questioning the unquestionable." Tiffany says it like it is, and the New Agers and Christians hate her. It's never easy to go against the current, but Tiffany has the courage to do so. She has written nothing but the truth regarding the psychic abilities that are within every child of the universe. This is an outstanding book for anyone with a thirst for true knowledge regarding healing, second sight, solving crimes, etc through supernatural knowledge. This is not what the standard church feeds us, or the current new age "everything is god" trend. I highly recommend this book. It makes sense and is extremely well-written. Whatever your beliefs, reading this book can only be a positive move. Here are a couple others I liked, but accurate? The jury's out on that one, but good reads: The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown; The American Prophecies: Ancient Scriptures Reveal Our Nation's Future by Michael D. Evans; and I am looking forward to, The Religion War by Scott Adams.

Summary: This book saved me.
Review: I don't know what other people think about this book, and I think people will always have different feeling and thoughts about things. It totally depends on how you relate to the book. For myself, this book really touched me. It spoke to me at a time when I had almost given up the search for truth. For me, it has been a healing as no other book has been, on many levels. This is a great book on getting a hold on ones inner self, becoming a connector and getting what you want by connecting.

Summary: There is Much more here than a NDE - NONconformity
Review: I have reviewed this book before, and check in every now and then because I appreciate what the author is trying to do. I wanted to address a recent review. There is much more here than a NDE, which is only one chapter out of ten. As a reader of NDE books, I can see why Dr. Snow is called to speak about her unique experience; and her website shows an engagement this fall to speak at the Chicago IANDS (one of the largest groups of NDE - International Association of Near-Death Studies)group, where many famous NDE speakers have presented. Just because an NDE doesn't fit "the norm" in no way makes it any less noteworthy - in fact, it does the opposite. So how does a person weed out the authentic from those who aren't? One way is by the 180 degree difference it makes in the person's life, and that is definitely the case with Dr. Snow. Through acceptance and rejection (even in the churches), she passionately pushes ahead, her mission to help others to acknowledge "the gifts" and the supernatural in their lives. This is a very risky and controversial position to be in. There is definitely no hype here - Her NDE of heaven is pure and real to her. As for descriptions of heavenly beings, I find her descriptions of ghosts, spirits, energy tracings, and what the true nature of angels are, as ringing true to my essence. I would say the modesty that is expressed by not doing an entire book on her NDE(many have a lot of fluff around the actual experience, to try to make it an entire book), but citing it as only the catalyst of her change, stays true to the nature of authenticity. One of the refreshing notions of this book is that a person does not have to have a near-death experience to make drastic changes in their lives, to open to healing, finding things (including people), helping others; talking to the other side, and connecting with God. I think this book is Amazing, and look forward to any others that Dr. Snow puts out. If it "bridges the gap" for Christians, so be it. They need to open up too. I am one that stumbled over many concepts, in my need to blend my fundamental background with the new truths, this book has spoken to my heart. She has validated many things for me, and has also persuaded a shift of consciousness on how I look at things. I am a better person for having read it, and I've tried her recommendations and achieved great results in my life. She teaches you how to manifest. In her courage to reveal her paranormal experiences, she has encouraged us all to do the same, and be unique and true to our experiences, whether they "conform" or not.

Summary: Marie Jones, author Looking for God in All the Wrong Places
Review: I just finished reading a remarkable page-turner, a non-fiction book entitled PSYCHIC GIFTS IN THE CHRISTIAN LIFE: TOOLS TO CONNECT. The book was written by Tiffany Snow, D.D. and really kept me glued to the page. This is more than just a spiritual book, it is a hands-on manual of sorts that teaches the reader how to connect with their Higher Power and activate their own unique spiritual gifts in their daily lives.

Tiffany Snow should know all about activating her special gifts. This very special woman got her life calling in a most unique way - she was struck by lightning and had a near death experience that left her without a doubt as to what God wanted her to do with the rest of her life. She discovered a gift for healing, and her public ministry began.

Using many of her own personal experiences and insights into the spiritual workings within each of us, Tiffany writes in a friendly and intimate style that draws the reader in and holds you there as she presents an incredible amount of tools, techniques and examples of how to connect with the Life Force within, and use it to benefit the self and others. Her own life is layed out within the chapters, and is a fascinating backdrop against which she sets her growing wisdom and knowledge as her healing training progresses. From rural Tennessee to a Mexico beach with monster waves, to sunny Southern California to the Hawaiian shores, she takes us on a journey through her own spiritual coming of age.

Some of the topics Tiffany covers in this oversize trade paperback are learning to accept the gifts we've been given, tools to expand our divine connection, how to use the power of prayer, energy tracings and how to sharpen our healing abilities and skills, looking for and finding our God-spots and the responsibilities that come with the realization that we have been blessed with talents to share with the world. She focuses on many Christian and Biblical teachings, but applies them in a way they can benefit followers of any spiritual path.

Also included are intriguing chapters detailing Tiffany' work with the FBI in regards to the September 11 terrorist attacks and a child abduction case that enthralled the nation in its grip. Her skills and talents go far beyond just physical healings, as this book points out.

Tiffany is a skilled communicator, and her book will motivate and inspire the reader, as well as educate and enlighten. At 240 pages, this book has a great deal to offer, and justifies the price tag, which might otherwise be too high for a trade paperback. But PSYCHIC GIFTS IN THE CHRISTIAN LIFE is worth it. I especially enjoyed the personal stories of Tiffany's own struggle to claim her life, her spirit and her calling. These stories make this book so much more than just a dry spiritual "how to" book. They in fact resonate on such a personal level; you will truly feel you have made a new friend in Tiffany just by reading her book and sharing her wisdom.
