Rating: Summary: Avoid Darkness and head to The Light Review: Unfortunately, many have attempted to taint our views with poorly written reviews, and droning on about their own personal demons and negativity. Tiffany Snow has given us a reason to rejoice, and to create more positive thoughts and action through her well written book. The message is simple, clear and easily applied to our daily lives.Ignore the delusional clowns who have posted garbage. Perhaps they'll learn how to read and choose a higher path. If not, remember there's only so much we can do for those that choose to live a depressed, negative lifestyle. Maybe they need a near-death experience too.
Rating: Summary: This book will stir you up Review: Wow - as the Top 50 reviewer stated, some people will love this book, and some will hate it - this book stirred me up too. How can a person balance psychic abilities with religion? Not being an overly religious person, I picked this book up for the "psychic" part, and found that the quotes from various saints and scriptures were more interesting to me than expected -and if nothing else, I now have ability to defend myself to my religious friends! There were a few things in here that reminded me of Chopra, and some of John Edward. If you like Wayne Dyer, this could also be a match for you. Think of Snow, as Wayne Dyer meets Sylvia Browne. Some parts in here I would have to scratch my head about, but other parts were enlightening and led me to look at some things differently. There were a couple of things that I hadn't thought of before, found in the self-help chapters on developing psychic abilities. Those were unique, which made it worthwhile to me, since I read many books on NDEs, and on developing psychic ability. It is obvious in the pages that Snow is trying to expand people's minds, and that is bound to cause upheaval in many circles. I have to laugh at some of these "reviews." Some people are evidently upset - are they the Christians, or the psychics? If they are the Christians, heck, none of them ever agree! If they are the psychics, wouldn't they want to see a book which negotiates psychic ability into the mainstream? Makes you wonder. There were also some surprises in here, such as the ghost stories. In addition, she details her post NDE ability to "see angels," and walks you through an exercise to do this yourself. The "stirring up" part for me is on an emotional level - the most drastic message I have owned for myself out of this book is one of "ego-less-ness." There was no place in which Snow overtly said this, but the human mistakes that she went through and wrote about as her gifts were developing, helped me realize how much I could further myself if I just "got myself out of the way," a difficult thing to do, but one that I'm more actively striving for now. If there are some parts of this book you don't like, ask yourself what pair of glasses you have on, and then TAKE THEM OFF! If you are open-minded, you just might learn something. I did.
