Summary: Great rainy day reading!
Review: I really enjoyed this book. It isn't as gripping as some of her other books, but the characters were very real and fun to get to know. This is a good "snuggle up on the couch, feel good book". I am looking forward to the next one.

Summary: One of Roberts' best
Review: I absolutely loved this book. I read it in 2 days, couldn't put it down. Roberts' descriptive display made me feel as if I was in Ireland - I could smell the flowers and see the faeries. I already checked the bookstore for the next in the series and much to my dismay, it's not out yet! I'll pass this one on to my friends and family and await the next.....

Summary: I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN
Review: I loved this book, I read it within hours of starting, I just couldn't and wouldn't put it down, I was spellbound. I can't wait for the next one in the series! Thank you Nora for another wonderful place to escape to!

Summary: Laughed and laughed and laughed!
Review: I haven't laughed out loud at a book in sooooo long! I took it to work and had the customers laughing at me! The main characters were hilarious and the side characters were woven in brilliantly. I can't wait for the next one!

Can't wait Nora! Mari

Summary: Will Read It over and over again
Review: Call me a hopelessly romantic fool, but I love this book. In this modern day of age, where every girl have to be sensible, don't fall for this line or that; be on your guard, for your own sake. I can understand how Jude gets to be where she is. In the end, she's disappointed with men and her job. I bet you, she choosed her ex-husband, because he is acceptable according to her sensible reasoning. Not because her heart tells her so. So, where does she goes. Back to her roots and there she meets her handsome , dashing prince. Like the old fairy tales,we girls read when we were small, where the handsome prince rescue the damsel in distress. It's so good, because it puts our modern day perspective into the romantic love. Love is as old as the mother earth. You have to believe in it, otherwise life is no fun. Gallagher is just what every woman wants. He's strong, fun, cares about his friends, and chases after Jude endlessly. This is one of the best book I've read by Nora Robert/J.D.Robb. Definitely will read again on .If you want some fairy tale in your romance, this is the book you must read.

Summary: A Dedicated Fan
Review: Despite my title, I didn't expect to really like this book! Must have been the synopsis. But, in true Nora Roberts fashion an intriguing story unwound. I've been disappointed by many of the new romances I've read this year, but not by this one!

Summary: Trying to hard
Review: Though on average Nora Roberts's books are wonderful this one just didn't "do it". Though I don't mind the magic, ghosts ect, after just finishing the Donovan Legacy (which I found vastly superior & entertaining) this is just a watered down version. The characters are so one-dimensional (read "slightly boring") that it was a struggle for me to finish this book. I did finish it however, because her books are a step above anyone elses-even the average ones.

Summary: What is with the physical fights?
Review: In this book I wasn't sure why the heroine and hero fell in love. She turns to him for sex after hearing that her x-husband is about to become a father. The relationship develops from there. I found the relationship between the three woman in the story a lot more interesting and fun. And the paranormal aspect didn't add anything to the story in my opinion. Still Nora has a way with words that pull you along, no matter if you find the motivation a little weak. However, it really bothered me that towards the end the heroine hit the hero in the nose, and breaks it and just feels satisfaction and a sense of pride. What is with the physical fights. It seems to be a prevailing trend in her books. If her characters can't solve a problem with words, they haul off and hit someone. When are the adults going to quit acting like kids, and grow up.

Summary: The first of many
Review: This was the first book I have ever read by Nora Roberts. It is so magical and full of hope. I really can not wait to read the other two books in her trilogy. Jewels of the Sun is one of the best books I have ever read.

Summary: Middle range
Review: Ms.Roberts has written some fabulous books (Hot Ice, Sacred Sins etc)and some uninspiring ones, this one is in the middle range. The setting is very Irish, the characters handsome but somewhat boring. The "Born in..." series was similar but more dramatic. I don't mind supernatural creatures slipping into a story but I'm afraid in this book they don't add to the tension.
