Summary: Put it back on the shelf
Review: This is so bad it's scary. Do people really want to read this stuff? It has no substance, no plot, no dimension, no reality, no sense, no strong women, and throws women back in the dark ages. The main woman character never has no more than two thoughts in her head other than, wow what a cute big strong Irish guy, I hope he falls in love with me or little helpless me will fall apart. Her other challenging thought formulation is - oh there isn't a microwave in this cottage in Ireland - help I am on my own - oh look a stove - I might have to cook -ooh I can't handle it. Come on, we need a little more substance here, please, with these multimillion dollar sellers that are lining Ms. Robert's coffers.

Summary: She does it again
Review: Nora Roberts just keeps getting better and better. The story is incredable and the characters almost become your best friends. Definately a must read!

Summary: A Perfect Combination of Romance, Irish Legand and Love
Review: I loved the Irish lilt to the Jewels of the Sun. The charaters were strong intellegant people, and Nora Roberts did a brillant job of using temporment, brauns and brillance to create an increadible story of lost love, hope and humor. I am looking forward to the next one in the trilogy with passion.

Summary: "Jewels of the Sun"
Review: I've always enjoyed Nora Roberts' books, but this particular one has been a wonderful experience. The plot was divine, the Gallagher family was believable. Nora Roberts' captures our attention and imagination, you live through the story.

Summary: Run out and buy this book.....NOW!
Review: I have read every book I could find that Roberts' has written involving the McGregor Clan. Let Roberts take you to Scotland, find out about the Faerie Hill Cottage and all of the folklore. You will also met Jude Murray, a woman bent of finding herself, and Aidan Gallagher, a man who knows what he wants and gets it. It is an intriguing and hilarious story of two people coming together through "fairy tales". But much more than that. If you are like me, sit back and enjoy watching the friendship between Jude and two females bloom. I am anxiously awaiting the next two books in this trilogy. The insert from "Tears of the Moon" was excellent, but I can't help but wonder, "How long do I have to wait! ". I'm sure after you read this book, you'll feel the same! Enjoy!

Summary: Another "Jewel" from Nora
Review: Once again Nora Roberts has given us hours of enjoyment in her new novel "Jewels from the Sun". Her use of details and character descriptions keeps us turning the pages just to see what will happen next. Anyone who has read any of Nora Robert's books will thoroughly enjoy this book. I check my bookstore everyday for news of her next publication.

Summary: A True Jewel !
Review: No surprises here, folks. Nora has hit the literary nail squarely on the head once again with the first installment of a new trilogy. Anyone who has read Nora's "Born in..." or "Dream" trilogies can appreciate the fact that these books are SO worth waiting for. Romance, laughter, witt and humor mix together seamlessly in "Jewels of the Sun". Set against the simple rustic beauty of Ireland, Nora begins spinning her newest web with the Gallagher family. Aidan, owner of the local pub, falls hard and fast for 'Yank' want-to-be writer Jude Murray, whose come to Ireland to trace her roots, escape the husband who discarded her, and find her place in the world. The secondary characters we know we'll get to catch up with in the coming two novels will make you howl with laughter and the legends of the ghosts that inhabit Ireland's "Fairie Hill" searching endlessly for lost love will touch your heart. Nora Roberts is the best. This book is proof positive.

Summary: Memories Renewed
Review: I have been there and carry Ireland in my heart. Now this book takes me back. There I am again--in the mists and the sweetness; with the voices and the music; part of the antiquity and the legends; teased by the fairies and the gods. What a sweet pleasure this book was for me and I hope it will be for you. Now the interminable wait for the rest of the trilogy.

Summary: Takes me away.....
Review: I haven't found a book written by Nora Roberts - or J.D.Robb, that hasn't held my interest from the very beginning. Her descriptions of the characters & the places make you feel that not only do you know these people, but that you want to go & find romance yourself. After finishing a book, I always hope that there will be a sequel with the same characters at a different time in their lives.

Summary: When Irish Eyes are Smiling!
Review: Actually, anyone who reads this book will be smiling too! This is one of those rare stories that draws you right in. You feel as if you, yourself, are walking on the hillside, with the beautiful native flowers all in bloom. Or sitting in the charming local pub with all the delightful town characters, hearing the tales told from generation to generation while listening to the music a true Celt never forgets. A wonderful mixture of romance and Irish folklore, this book is a treasure! So get cozy with a cup of tea(and if you add a dollop of whiskey to warm the bones...nary a soul will think less of ye!)and have a grand old time with a truly pleasureable read!
