Summary: I LOVED it!
Review: It is so hard to find a vampire romance, and it's even harder to find a GOOD vampire romance. I love the imagry in the book, the way the characters simply come alive! I felt for Raven (at a couple of points, I wished I was in her place!), and I thought she and Mikhail were made for each other. I finished this book very quickly, and immediately started on it's sequel, Dark Desire. This author is great, and I hope her writing career will be long, and that she will stay in the vampire romance genre.

Review: This was one of the best books for the supernatural romance lovers. Once you get started you can't put it down. The way that Christine Feehan brings out the dark and mysterious Carpathians and their need for the one and only true love or lifemate, in this case, is truly mind clinching. I can't wait for more stories of the Carpathians, they are almost addicting.

Review: i got this after somone suggested it to me and at first i didnt think i would like it. once i began reading it, i couldnt put it down, and i went out right away and had to get dark desire. now im anxiously awaiting the next one coming out next month. this is a great series so far, you'll get hooked!

Summary: Great Read, I found another Wonderful Author
Review: THis book was recamended to me by Amanda Ashley, I was thankfull. Its hard to find Good Vampire romances out there. I will be reading her other books. THis book held a little bit more graphic discription than i am use to but never the less I theroly enjoyed it. You will feel that you know all the charecters personaly. You will fall in love with Mikhail.<the leading man so to speak> I really liked the twist that the author played about there 1st contact. I also like that She doesn't play Raven as a helples female. She also discribes her love seens in slightly more detale than the other authors and i found that captavating. Her writhing makes you want more from the charecters and I am greatful that I can get more with her other books. If you enjoy Amanda Ashly or shanon drake you will enjoy this read. If you are new to the vampire reads The best place to start is with these 3 authors, in my oppinion. I would love to hear about more reads if you know of anyother good ones.

Summary: OH MY GOD! FANTASTIC!
Review: i have always believed vampires to be the most sensual of all creatures roaming the earth. Christine Feehan just proves my opinion in one of the most erotic, bone tingling vampire romance I have ever read. There are not many paranormal romances out there to read much anymore. But I have always found them fascinating. I hope Ms. Feehan decides to keep writing about the beauty of the immortal. They are passionate, sensual, and the most romantic of all things dead and alive.

Review: Christine Feehan is wonderful. I loved her characters and how she brings them together. I especially enjoyed how she still kept the legend of Carpathia involved but gave each one a unique personality. Especially that the men love their lifemate an no one else! A must read and re-read. Can't wait to read Dark Desire and Dark Gold. Keep them coming!

Review: You MUST, ABSOLUTELY MUST read this book. It was my first vampire romance and worth it. The story is compelling and sex scenes are exciting. The real strength of the book however is the writing. It really captures the reader. I'm telling you, this book started out SWINGING! By the time I finished the first chapter I was already upset it was going to end. I read it in one night. Got up the next day and read it again! That good. The scenes were well thought out; you could actually feel, hear and see what was being described. This book is not for the fainthearted, rated R [or maybe X =:)] on the violence/sex. I withhold 1 star because the dialogue at times were lengthy lectures and/or redundant. I also felt there were too many characters in the book. I started out with a set of characters and by the end got a whole new crew. Nonetheless, a good read.

Review: Take it from a person who has read many vampire and pharanormal books, this is a keeper. The best book I've read this year. If you love pharanormal books, you'll love this one.

Summary: Amazing.Unique.Sensual.
Review: I am adding Christine Feehan to my short list of favorite authors. I give her a standing ovation for her work in this novel. It is a storyline so unique and so compelling that it leaves one craving for more. I fell in love with Mikhail and Raven's story. It was entrancing and very romantic. Gregori was a great character. I would love to read more in depth the story of his own dark struggle. I eagerly await what else Ms. Feehan will pull out of that wonderfully imaginative mind of hers.

Summary: Vampires as a race of beings is a unique idea
Review: I loved this story. I love vampires, and the idea of having vampires as a race of beings not unlike humans was very unique. The idea is a breath of fresh air to the constant belief that vampires are monsters. Th only thing I didn't like about this story is that it left me wanting more. I want to know what happened to the characters. I want to know if Raven gave birth to a girl. I hope there is a sequel to answer these questions.
