Rating: Summary: Dissappointing Review: I bought this book based on the reviews here -- wow was I dissappointed! It is so unrealistic it is amazing. And the "dream man" was an evil killer. Choose another Linda Howard book -- this one isn't worth it.
Rating: Summary: wonderful Review: Actually, dream man happened to fall into my hands. Didn't exactly go out and buy it.Decided to read it and it was the best suspence\romance book I had read. The characters were so amazingly real,I thuoght I was actually inside that book. I was imagining everything that happened. It was greatly detailed. Just the way I like my stories. I wouldn't be surprised if it became a movie. Would love to see it on the big screen. Would recomend this book to everyone who wants to read something different for a change. I have read it so many times,it's worn from use. Wonderfully written. The feelings, the fear, were so real, I scared myself. The ending was also great, and at high fever pitch. If you know what I mean. Go out and buy it. Don't wait another minute. I guarantee you won't regret it.
Rating: Summary: Absolutely Fantastic! Review: This is my first book by Linda Howard, and all I can say is WOW! What a wonderful storyteller. Just the right mix of suspense and romance. Marlie and Dane (as well as the secondary characters) were complex and very interesting. I can't wait to read more of her books, in fact I'm going to go get some right now! Bye!
Rating: Summary: Linda's masterpiece Review: Marlie Keen is a psychic helping a police investigation, and Dane Hollister is the detective working on the case. Dane, who at first thinks she is a fraud/fake/liar/etc., cannot keep away from the quiet girl with the haunted eyes. Dane is probably as close to a perfect hero as there is, and Marlie is, in her own quiet way, his perfect match.
Rating: Summary: Dream Man Review: This was the first book I read by Linda Howard and haven't stopped reading her since! I love a good mystery but really hooked me were the steamy sex scenes!
Rating: Summary: one of her best Review: Dream Man is one of Linda Howard's best books. The characters are well developed and likable. The story is attention getting and well written. Dream Man is hard to put down. If you like books about the paranormal you'll really enjoy this one.
Rating: Summary: Linda Howard is the best! Review: My first Linda Howard's book I ever read is "White Out" in Upon a Midnight Clear, and from then on I start collecting her books. Dream Man is a wonderful book with great characters. An absolutely wonderful book to read. I highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: Five stars aren't enough Review: This is the kind of novel you call out sick from work to finish reading
Rating: Summary: I love Dane! Review: This was definately Howard's best book. The story moves along at just the right pace and the leads are sooooo appealing. The supporting characters (especially Trammel in his Italian loafers) are just as good. Dane is strong, sexy...and appealingly goofy with his rumpled clothes and voracious appetite- for more than just Pizza! He meets his match in the sharp-tongued psychic Marlie Keen, one of Linda's best heroines to date. A sweet, richly detailed love story with a FANTASTIC ending!
Rating: Summary: Definitely not one of her best! Review: Yes, I think the storyline was okay, but Dane was WAY too macho for me. The way he kept calling her "babe" drove me insane! I found it very hard to like the characters in this book. I am a huge Linda Howard fan and I was disappointed with this read.
