Review: I must admit, I am a reading junkie. I'll read just about anything fiction. I especially enjoy reading romance and suspense novels. This is a perfect blend. Don't let the cover fool you-this is a very tight knit book. Marni Keen is a believable heroine-I normally don't believe in the paranormal but it seemed so real in the book. The characters are great too. Her fainting episodes bring out the soft, sensitive side in Dane, who is the stereotypical macho, over testosteroned male at the beginning, and it is so sweet. This book has the sweetness of love and it is also VERY steamy. Great book, one of the best that I have ever read. Well worth the extra dollar or two that it costs over the plain old Harlequin paperback romances.

Summary: One of Howard's best [and she has plenty of good ones]
Review: I have read all of Ms. Howard's books and I have fallen in love with all but one. This is one of her best, in my opinion. A psychic with a traumatic past recovers her abilities due to a gruesome murder and meets an esceptic cop whom immediately suspects her as accomplice to the crime. From there, these characters grow to love each other and solve a series of murders spanning a decade and many states. I love the main characters, I love the plot and I plainly love the way Ms. Howard writes. It is obvious to me that she does a fair amount of research on the background of her characters and what legal or whatever issues are of importance to the development of the story. Many of her secondary characters fairly beg for their own stories [Hint: PLEASE write about Alejandro Trammell!]. There is also enough humor, both subtle and obvious, to balance the blood and gore of the darker scenes. This is a book for one sitting, impossible to put down.

Review: This is one of Nora Robert's BEST books. She successfully combined paranormal happenings with a steamy romance. I loved the chemistry between the hero and the heroine. And the storyline was just plain scary. To have someone killing for that reason. Personally I give Nora Roberts ten stars. This has been her best book yet. PLEASE GIVE ME MORE!

Review: I have read other romance novels but not one that has such a rare blend of love and suspense. Would make a great movie. Marlies' gift was well protrayed and believable. Especially how it knocked her out for several hours after a 'vision'. Well Done, Ms. Howard!

Summary: One of the best novels I've read
Review: I have read hundreds of romance novels and romance/suspense novels. This one left me completely blown away. The dialague was fast paced and witty, the suspense was nail biting, Marlie wasn't your typical simpering heroine (She actually had some common sense.), and I completely fell in love with Dane. He's absolutely the perfect man. Tough, masculine, gentle, devoted, sexy as ALL, and sooo in love with Marlie. The book was amazing. I would also suggest picking up Linda Howard's "After the Night" for another incredible story of romance and suspense. Linda Howard never disappoints!!!

Review: I picked up Dream Man for something to read, and couldn't stop reading until I had finished it. Then I read it again, because I wanted to go back and savor each page. The descriptive writing while at times very graphic (rape, murder, torture, etc.), was so well done, it was like watching a movie, you could visualize the scenes clearly. Linda Howard did an excellent job, Dane is soooo fine, he is a real DREAM MAN. GREAT BOOK LINDA.

Summary: Amazingly my first Linda Howard book - but it got me hooked!
Review: The premise, the characters and the plot were all worth the read. Dane and Marlie had a chemistry that kept me from putting the book down until I finished it. Having a good romance that also indulges my taste for suspense and danger is all I could ask for! This book encouraged me to go back and read Howard's earlier works as well as get each new book as it has come out. Well worth the read!! (I've even enjoyed reading it again.)
