Summary: Fabulous!
Review: I had to buy a second copy of Dream Man because my first fell apart after many re-readings (and lending it to friends and family who had not yet been introduced to Linda Howard). This story kept me on the edge of my seat, and the tension renews itself with each reading. Marni is a wonderful heroine, and Dane is fantastic. Ms. Howard has become a fabulous, entertaining writer and I, for one, will remain a great fan!

Summary: The Best So Far
Review: This is my FAVORITE of Linda Howard's books. I have read it over and over and I dread the day my copy falls apart from use. I like this one much better than many of her books where the "bedroom" language is more crude (and I believe unnecessary). The characters were wonderful and very believable. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves contemporary romances. Grab it and enjoy!

Summary: Smokin'!!
Review: What a man! This was really a great book! I loved the characters, particularly Dane. He was SO much man! It was quite unique, not at all derivative, and it had quite a twist at the end. This was my first by her, and now I'm hooked on Linda Howard. As for the love scenes... can we say cold shower?

Summary: I loved this book!
Review: This book was a lot of fun. It combined a frighteningly plausible serial killer as the villian, an element of the paranormal in the psychic heroine, and a great love story. I've read it several times, and I love it every time.

Summary: Incredible!
Review: This was my first book by Linda Howard and I really enjoyed it. I plan to go out and find as many of her books as I can.

All her life Marlie has "The Knowing", phychic abilities that allow her to enter other people's minds, especially when a crime is being committed. Six years earlier while helping look for a child murderer Marlie is kidnapped and forced to endure terrible circumstances. After this terrible incident Marlie lost all her phychic abilities and lived a normal life, until now.

A killer is on the loose in Orlando, Florida and Marlie is seeing events through his eyes. She tells the police, but Detective Dane Hollister doesn't believe her. Immediately she is his number one suspect. Although Dane quickly discovers that Marlie isn't a suspect, he is drawn to her like no other woman he's ever known. Together Dane and Marlie must work together to catch a killer and reach into the mind of a madman.

This is a great book and I can't wait to read more by Ms. Howard. (Although, why are all the heros tall with jet black hair?? Aren't there any blondes, redheads or men with brown hair anymore?)

Summary: 5 stars and more!
Review: Here I am writing this review, it's 2:45 am, and I've just finished "Dream Man". What an excellent book!! THis book will turn you into an insomniac, and then send you back to Amazon, trying to find other Linda Howard books!! This book and "After the Night" are my favorites from Linda Howard. All you readers out there, stay away from "All that Glitters" (not very good at all).

Summary: One of the best books I've read!
Review: This was the first book I had read by Linda Howard and I was very impressed. I enjoyed the mystery and especially the chemistry between these two. I have read all other books that I could find by Linda Howard and was equally impressed. They all have passion with a touch of mystery that keep you enthralled from the beginning til the end. I would love to read any other author who writes similar to her.

Summary: This One Is A Definate Must Read!
Review: This book is just too hot to handle. I have one word to describe "Dream Man": HOT!!!

Summary: One of the few that made it to my keeper shelf
Review: I've been reading romance for over 20 years (Yikes!), beginning with Woodiwiss' "Flame and the Flower", and I know a good book when I get my hot little hands on one. I have less spare time to spend reading, and less patience with bad writing or editing as I get older - I cherish the time I spend curled up with a great book. I'm tired of the "old boyfriend" (if he was a jerk the first time around, why give him a second shot?) and "hidden kid" (not very honorable) themes, and this current amnesia craze gives me hives. When I want to read a good romance, I want unique and intriguing plots, dominant and protective males who want a partner not a maid, witty dialogue, and smart savvy heroines. Most of all, give me authors who don't get bogged down in the scenery and details - don't tell me what happens, show me - if I can't picture the action in my head and like the characters enough to care what happens to them, you've lost me as a reader. Linda Howard is one of the very best, and her books consistently make it onto my keeper shelf, which I'm very picky about and which is populated by volumes authored by those familiar names like Garwood, Deveraux, Quick, Woodiwiss, Garlock, and Lindsey - if I don't love it enough to want to read it over and over, it's outta here. If you liked this one, try her others, including "After the Night" and "Kill and Tell", two of my other favorites.

Summary: DreamMan is wonderful!
Review: If you want a book you'll never put down from beginning to end you've got to read this book! This was my first Linda Howard book and I'm addicted to her writting forever now! She rolls everything together in one book. Mystery, suspense, romance and everything else possible. A Must Read!
