Rating: Summary: What can I say? Review: There isn't anything that can be said about this book that hasn't already been said. It's touching. Splendid. Stunning. Exhilarating. Beautiful. Ethereal. Lifelike. Engaging. Riveting. Suspenseful. Swashbuckling. Lovely. Brawny. A good yarn...You see what I mean? There simply isn't anything left to say. I cried over this book - and I *never* cry at books. Or movies. Simply is not an option. But I did.
Rating: Summary: Deux Ex Machina (And I know it's misspelled) Review: The first time I read this book, I was in seventh grade. I reread it in tenth, and found many major flaws in what I had previously thought a terrific book. Urthmight and Urthwhite's grandmother wasn't introduced until the end, when the mountain needed saving. If you've ever studied writing, this is calles 'Deux Ex Machina' or 'God in Machine'. It fixes a terrible mistake, or a bunch of mistakes. And of course, they get there just in time.
Rating: Summary: Burr Aye, Et be gudder than turnip n' tater n' beetroot pie! Review: Yet another accomplishment for the great Brian Jacques! This was indeed, another thrilling epic tale of the inhabatents of both Redwall and the great badger mountain. The villans were really, in a lack of words at the present, "Hateable." I started reading the Redwall series at age 8, and each book gets "absoballylutely" better each time I read them! Three years of reading and I realize that each new book that comes out becomes the highlight of my year. In all my reading, Brian Jacques has slowly become my favorite author! In any case this book is a must-read for every fantasy reader, as it captured my heart, I'm sure it will do the same to yours.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding! Review: I have, within the past hour, finished Salamandastron and have to say that it is one of my favorite Redwall books! I have read the first six books in the series and was most pleased with this story. I especially liked how Brian Jacques kept me spellbound with four separate plot lines. One of his best so far! The Redwall books are favorites of many of my fifth grade students. I, along with my students, look forward to reading the rest of the series!
Rating: Summary: Salamandastron, Great Book! Review: I thought that this book was excellent! I couldn't put it down. This is a excellent book for a person that has a imagination and likes fantasy. This book is a great book for the Redwall series. Its about a young squirrel with a great sword and vermin trying to take Salamandastron. This is a great book and I recommend it to anyone with a liking for fantasy.
Rating: Summary: Salamandastron By Brian Jacques. Review: I thought this book was really fastinating, adventurouss and full of action. What I mean by fastinating is it is full of thoughts and it would keep you on the edge of your seat. The adventourous part is that the characters never stop adventuring into new places, they always meet new people and get themselves into trouble. The action part is in the second part and third part there are alot of battles that will never bore you. What I liked about it is full of feelings and thoughts. The thought of being able to see what is happening in your head. What I didn't like about it is that it kept switching back and fourth from character to character,in the part of each chapter.I would recommend it to all the grades in this school, because that age group has to like action and adventure books like me and my friends.
Rating: Summary: Amazing! Review: Another huge hit in the Redwall series. I believe that Brian Jacques has really combined the two main parts of Redwall books in this one:Quests and Major Battles (or wars). I would recommend this book to any Redwall fan.
Rating: Summary: Another masterpiece in the Redwall collection Review: In this tale, Brian Jacques takes the reader back to the unforgetable world of Redwall abbey and the surrounding world. In Salamandastron, Ferahgo the assasin assults the mighty fort of Salamandastron. Salamandastron is inhabated by hares and ruled by the greay badger Lord Urthstripe. A war breaks out and some residents of Redwall abbey get tangled up in the adventure. The story is terrific and the twists and turns in the plot will make this book hard to put down.
Rating: Summary: Bet you can't just read just one! Review: Wow, this book was great. It just was really good. This was my first Redwall novel and now Brian Jacques is my favorite author. I Highly reccomend this book to everybody and anyone. It just has to be read!
