Summary: A GREAT BOOK!!!!!
Review: I had to read this book for a history assignment, and I thought for sure that it would be boring like the rest of my required reading. But I was very wrong! This book was so great. I am an extrememly picky reader, but I found that this book was so entertaining as well as informative and an easy read. It is very exciting and doesn't have any slow, boring parts. It is fun to read all the way through! I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone looking for an exciting, historical fiction book.

Summary: A Wonderful Book
Review: I had to read this book for Battle of the Books and a novel project. I don't like to read, even though I do have all honors classes. But this book was incredibly good. By the middle of it, you almost can't put it down. I was able to finish it in only one day, which is a very rare occurance. The book taught me a lot about the Salem Witch Trials that I didn't know, even after visiting Boston and Salem for a school 3-day trip. It informs you from a different perspective, from someone who knew the truth about the hysteria. I loved this book and anyone who even thinks about getting the book should mmost definitely get it.

Summary: Loved The Book
Review: I have read every single of Ann Rinaldi's more than 20 books and this ties with "The Last Silk Dress" as my favorite. It really makes feel like you are there and you can toatally relate to Susanna. Ann Ridaldi based the book on real characters and practically everything is really how it happened. I greatly reccomend this book. But I'm warning you, once you start reading it you won't be able to put it down.

Summary: A Must Read!
Review: I just finished reading this book and I must say I thought it was one of the best books I have ever read! Ann Rinaldi's tale of the Salem Witch Trials is delightful yet informing. She creates a great book through her setting and knowledge of what really happned in Salem in the year of 1692. I recomond this book to anyone who enjoys historical fiction.

Summary: i know..
Review: i know that most people think this was like the greatest book ever written....but it [was awful]. it was boring, it had potential. but it seemed that ann rinaldi rushed the book and i found the characters to be annoying and not worth reading about. i can't say I recommend the book because i don't- unless you happen to be one of those people that like boring, pointless books with bad endings. ^.^

Summary: An Exciting Story
Review: I love this book! I had to read it for a book report for Mrs. Seagraves' class. A Break with Charity has a lot of mystery, adventure, schemes, and trickery in it. These four things evolved all around the circle of girls, who would meet in one of their houses everyday to practice magis(which was forbidded in those days). Then, once the towns people start getting suspcious of what these girls are up to, the girls pretend that they've been afflicted by people in the town that they say arer "witches"! I also love the way Ann Rinaldi tells the story! She has the main character tell the story from memory! It's a great book and I think everyone should read it!
