Summary: An array of African American women
Review: I didn't realize that this was a part 2. This was the first book I've read by this author, and I liked the ladies, 4 friends with secrets, ambition, turmoil, and you know we all suffer in love at some point. God's presence in this book is outstanding, I also love the feisty side. Entertaining and amusing looking forward to reading part 1 and part 3.

Summary: Creeping and Sleeping!
Review: I enjoyed A Chocolate Affair the sequel to Chocolate Star and found it to be a nice, light, entertaining read that I read in one sitting. Topaz, Keisha, Jade and Nina are four friends-all vibrant, beautiful, talented and black-who find themselves swept up by destiny in the city of the stars and angels...Los Angeles, CA. Each lady had an interesting and exciting life and the reader was instantly drawn in trying to figure out what they were going to do next. But as usual Topaz would have the last word and the last dirt as folks start "creeping and sleeping" with each other. Uum...seems like Ms. Copeland has a sequel in the midst as the ending was left very open. I just hope that the next sequel will be out within a year so that I don't forget who the characters are...again. A Chocolate Affair is a good story about friendship between sister friends and is filled with drama, humor and wit.

Summary: Pleasant, Pleasing, Good Read
Review: I enjoyed reading this book and reading about what happen to the crew, Topaz, Keisha, Jade and Nina. I really enjoyed this book and the outcome of its characters. Topaz is still up to her tricks but then again she is being Topaz. I would love to find out if Jade evers finds out that Ninas' baby is her husband Sean, and if she does find out does she stay with him or leave the marriage... Good read

Summary: Chocolate Afrrair
Review: I enjoyed reading this book because it seems realistic. It wasvery detailed which I love reading. This book to me is like young teens who are igronant like Topaz (one of the main charaters) who are careless and make stupid decisions. They think that the world revolves around them. But the book was good for the overall part of the other charaters.

Summary: A Chocolate Affair
Review: I have had the pleasure to read both books back to back, they were great and I know there has to be a sequel as soon as possible. This is my first time expressing my opinion about books and I must say These books were top of the line. Keep up the good work because we are waiting to see how Jade is going to handle this.

Summary: Ms. Copeland, Can we please get another one?
Review: I have read both A Chocolate Star and A Chocolate Affair. Despite what some may say, you do not have to read A Chocolate
Star to enjoy A Chocolate Affair. Mrs. Copeland snapped when she wrote this book. I am truly a fan of hers. The thing about A Chocolate Affair I still can't get over is the relationship that developed between Nina and Kyle. I hate the way that people are coming down on Topaz because she truly WAS a changed person in the beginning of the book. However, she did do a complete 360 degree turnaround from the beginning of A Chocolate Star to the end of A Chocolate Affair. I don't want to tell to much about the book. JUST GO OUT AND GET IT!!!!! It's worth every penny of your money. You won't be dissapointed.
