Summary: A Guys Take
Review: Well, a good friend from Florida, who has a teriffic sense of humor, talked me into trying Jackie Collins. As a guy, all those strong willed women sort of, well, left me staggered and a liltte bashed. My friend reads alot, she has quite a mixed bag of interests. She did turn me onto DeMille, who I can get into. This plot was fun, sort of silly, but since I am a boxing enthusiast, I must say, a pretty decent book

Summary: NOBODY DOES IT BETTER THAN JACKIE COLLINS
Review: THERE IS NO AUTHOR OUT THERE LIKE JACKIE COLLINS. HER BOOKS ARE NON STOP READING. 100% OF THE TIME I WILL FINISH HER BOOKS IN ONE DAY. SHE IS THE BEST. EVERY BOOK KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER. THIS BOOK IS AN A+++. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. I AM NOW LOOKING FORWARD TO HER NEXT BOOK!

Summary: Mindless Fun, Quick Read, Enjoy!
Review: Typical Jackie, everyone is gorgeous, rich and has GREAT sex. They wear lovely designer clothes and fly on private planes, stay at the best places and can eat all they want cause they have "good metabolisms". Just like all my friends-NOT! But it's fun to read about.

This book is a very quick read and I enjoyed the different personalities (even the bad ones). It bounced quickly from person to person and never left me bored.

I did feel that the ending left alot unresolved. All the better to hook me into the sequel, which I'm already waiting for.

Summary: but only because you won't let me give it zero stars
Review: Can we somehow get this woman to stop writing books? PLEASE! It disgusts me that in a typical bookstore, where the authors are alphabetical on the shelves, this writer-of-garbage gets to rub shoulders with the likes of Wilkie Collins.

Summary: What a let down!!
Review: When I heard that JC had a new book out I was thrilled. I usually will read them in a day or two. I've been trying to finish this one for over a week~~~ The characters are boring and ridiculous at times. It just seems to lack really good storylines like her other books. Bring us some more of Lucky S. ~~

Summary: Typical Jackie Collins
Review: This book is written in the true Jackie Collins fashion. Tales of the glitz and glamour of New York and Hollywood. That is what makes it so great. The book is mainly about Madison Castelli, the main character in her LA Connections series. It was great bringing her back and being able to see more of her life and history. It also brings in some unusual characters, although they are all the usual type of characters that you find in Jackie Collins novels.

Of course there's raunchy sex. If there wasn't, it wouldn't be Jackie Collins. She truly has a talent for writing and her characters come alive in every book she's written. This one is no exception. I haven't even finished the book yet, but I'm writing this review because it is such a great read.

She does an excellent job referencing other characters from several of her other books as well. Some that you'll hear mentioned in Lethal Seduction are Kris Phoenix, Lucky Santangelo and Charlie Dollar.

I look forward to the rest of the book. I hope her future books further develop some of the minor characters in this book. And of course another Lucky Santangelo novel would be greatly welcomed, though I'm not sure that will happen.

Summary: semi-boring rip-off
Review: First off, Jackie is my Favorite author, and I now have read ALL her books. This one started out exciting but after 60% was read, I put it down all the time. I hated Rosarita! it's one thing for a character to be young, naive and selfish, but add "stupid idiot" to that, and it insults my intelligence. The Madison story was good, but with her fathers mafia past, her murdered mother, and 1/2 brother, isn't this a carbon copy of Lucky & Gino santangelo? Which scares me into thinking, that Gino won't live through the next Santangelo novel. Please! Let him break records for old age, we love Lucky & Gino! In Lethal seduction, there are TOO many unanswered questions at the end of the book. Nothing more at ALL on Michaels past, 1/2 brother at the END of the book! What about when Rosarita "Swore" she saw a crowd of people watching her & Joel having sex? Well who WERE they? and WHY were we left hanging on EVERY storyline? For this price, part 2 should have been included. Jackie, in the next Madison book, do we get to at least see Rosarita DIE? (lol) Please bring back the Santangelos.(ps.I'm sorry but I had to be honest).

Summary: Only for fans
Review: First off, let me say that I am biased. I'm a fervent Jackie Collins fan. I couldn't bring myself to give a Jackie Collins book less than three stars. However, if you're not already a fan of Ms. Collins then I suspect that you won't like this book much. It's certainly a quick read with lots of trashy sex among the stellar rich and famous that always inhabit her books. (Although the sex isn't nearly as tawdry and twisted as some of her novels.) The plot just doesn't quite pay off though. I was really into the first half of the story but then the ending felt rushed and I found it unsatisfying. I felt like Ms. Collins was racing to meet a contractual deadline or simply became bored with her own tale and kind of gave up. There's a lot of unfinished business in Lethal Seduction and, instead of making me hungry for more, it left me discontented. It's apparent there will be another installment in this new series and if the next book was already available for me to jump right into I might not feel so let down. Ms. Collins' books almost always have fast and fevered endings and I kept expecting everything to come together in the end. Instead of tying everything up neatly though still more unfinished plot twists arise. Even with the unsatisfactory ending I might have been able to forgive the lame conclusion if the characters were more interesting. Unfortunately almost everyone in the book is completely one-dimensional and predictable. If you're not already a Jackie Collins fan don't start with this book. The predecessor to Lethal Seduction, the L.A. Connections "mini-series", is by far superior! If you've never read a Jackie Collins book I always suggest first reading Hollywood Wives. Then if you like that book read Chances and Lucky back-to-back! If you are already a Jackie Collins fan you'll find just enough of the bitchy sleaze you've come to love from her stories to pull you through Lethal Seduction but I doubt if it'll turn out to be anyone's favorite book.

Review: This is the first jackie collins book that i have ever read and i loved it. i loved it so much that i went ou and bought more of her books. i liked in this book madison's struggle between her personal life and her professional life. the revelations that she learns about herself is groundbreaking. if you are interested in hot steamy books, this is the book for you. the best storyline is the one with the falcons: rosarita and dexter. their failing marriage and it is the most amusing storyline in the book. it is great. go out and read more jackie collins books!!!

Summary: There better be a sequel
Review: This is classice Jackie Collins and a very fast read (2days). But I have so many questions. There better be a sequel and I hope it comes out soon. I was very disappointed of the ending it just left too many stones unturned. I want to know more about Madison's family, what happens to the witch Rosarita, who will Leon leave all his money to, who really was the father of Rosarita's baby, will Jamie confront David, and who is this Gem?? I thought Madison and Dexter would wind up getting together (maybe next book). All I have left to say is I WANT MORE!!!!!!!!!
