Summary: Surviving Dysfunctional Families
Review: This book was recommended by my therapist to help me get a better perspective of my relationship with my twin sister. This book is incredibly realistic and does a great job of helping readers understand that their own behavior may be a natural consequence of their dysfunctional upbringing. It also does a lot to dispell myths about being a twin and it certainly helps the healing process. It also helps readers gain the perspective that many of their current problems had their roots back several generations.

Summary: I can't wait for his next novel!
Review: This was the best book I have ever read! At first I felt intimidated with its size, but once you start reading it, you can't stop. I didn't want the book to end! I immediately read his first novel, She's Come Undone. I can't get enough of Wally Lamb.

Summary: Rebirth and Reawakening
Review: Wally Lamb takes us on an incredible journey of self discovery, tragedy and re-birth. The story of Dominick and Thomas, their proud and troubled grandfather, their over burdened single parent mother as well as the surrounding characters and community build a wonderfully full multi-generational story. As we spend so much time with this long novel, the book becomes a companion to our own lives providing a window into our own history, successes and failures. A great book, which offers in addition to the terrific story, the added to insight to look inside ourselves and how we came to be.

Summary: I know this much is true.
Review: This was the best book I have read. I just finished it (as slowly as I could possibly could), and I can't stop thinking about Dominick and his family. What a strange way to wrap up the story......anyway, can anyone recommend any online discussion groups I can check out?

Summary: this was the best book i've ever read
Review: This was the best book i've ever read. I was glued to it and the author really captivates you with not just the story of Dominic & his brother but with lots of stories that are intricately interwoven to create this masterpiece of a novel. This is an extremely long book - the longest book i've ever read - I finished it quickly and I would read it again and again. It was absolutely fantastic - JUST READ IT - you'll see.

Summary: I LOVE Wally Lamb
Review: After reading She's Come Undone, I had to get my hands on the other novel ASAP which was this GREAT, I mean GREAT novel! It caused me major tears with its powerful ending as well as beginning! I e-mailed Mr. Lamb several times and he's as witty in his responses as he's in his book. There's not enough superlatives to aptly describe his writing genius! I simply adore him. My boyfriend is tired of me constantly gloating over him but I don't care... :)

Summary: Remarkably touching...
Review: Just finished reading Wally Lamb's "I Know This Much Is True", which which I found to be remarkably touching and poignant without being overly maudlin. Quite a remarkable insight into the frailties - and strengths - of human nature. Wonderful book. I enjoyed his first book also, "She's Come Undone".

Summary: DOES IT HAVE TO END ?
Review: I'm on the last 100 pages, and am reading slowly, so as not to finish the book ! How can someone write a 900 page book that doesn't wear the reader down, that is not tedious for a second ? Don't tell me what happens in the end. Eventually i will find out... LOOOOVVVEEEEE this book. Way to go Wally Lamb. Definitely book of the year for me ! (and it's only february...)

Summary: Great book for us guys!
Review: When I was given this book and told it was on Oprah's list, I was sceptical. Later, when I was deeply engrossed in the story, I found it hard to believe that I ever had doubts and I wondered how a novel of this complexity could possibly be fictional! An amazing book and not the least bit too long. You won't be able to put it down. I took it everywhere I went and read whenever the opportunity arose.

Summary: LAMB IS SO PERCEPTIVE AND CLEVER.
Review: I picked up She's Come Undone from my 16 year old, who bought it because she liked the cover. Even though I thought that she was kind of young for some of the material, it was too late she had already read it. We both found it to be a book that you do not want to put down. Dolores Price is a character I will never forget. How can Wally Lamb understand this woman so well? He is so perceptive and clever. I saw his next book I Know This Much Is True and did not hesitate to buy it. He did not disappoint me. My daughter also read this one. As much as we liked the first, this one was entirely different but just as intriguing. There was a wealth of material but I would not complain because I feel like we got to know everything we needed to know about the Tempesta and Birdsey families. For a week, I missed reading it....like a good friend had left town. Mr. Lamb....you are a born writer.....Thanks so much for sharing your talent with the world. Keep on writing.
