Summary: Wally Lamb: Triumphant Once Again
Review: I don't generally choose to read books that are in excess of 800 pages long. Being an impatient person, I like to be able to finish books in one afternoon. But, I enjoyed Lamb's previous novel, 'She's Come Undone,' so much, that I decided that I would give this one a shot. This book proved to be anything but boring. I liked it even better than his previous novel. This book captured my attention from the very beginning and held it until the very last page. I found my self not only knowing most of the characters intimately, but also genuinely caring about them all, also. I strongly encourage you to buy this book. Please, don't let the fact that it was featured on 'Oprah,' defer you!!! You will finish this book satisfied. It is well worth the time.

Summary: My best book of 1998
Review: I was truly sad when this book ended. As one of a set of fraternal twins, I was touched by many of the situations described in this book. Mr. Lamb has a rare and valuable skill for knowing and describing the gamut of human conditions and emotions. He clearly did his research for 'I Know This Much Is True'.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best novel I have read in
Review: I Know This Much Is True is a brilliant novel by the gifted writer Wally Lamb. This novel keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the book. There is never a dull moment. I would highly recomend this novel.

Summary: A Very Heartfelt Experience (Read)
Review: What family hasn't experienced at least some of the feelings of those involved? This was many stories within a story that kept the sense of expectation going. To be able to relate to those feelings in the telling of the stories made the relationship between living and the ability to enjoy the book. The explanation throughout the book of how feelings relate to life makes the reader believe in the story. I spent hours slowly reading the last 50 pages as I didn't want the book to end. I hope Wally Lamb is hard at work on his next book.

Summary: Inspiring novel
Review: This book was incredibly well written, it's 900 pages danced by with the speed of a short story... this is cliche but i couldn't put it down!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I Know This Book Is Amazing
Review: I had to keep telling myself that this book was not a true story. Wally Lamb is the best descriptive writer I have read. I highly recommend this book to anyone. I can't wait to read She's Come Undone.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This book will change your life
Review: Wally Lamb writes an amazing novel that will make you think of life in a different way. I read the last chapter three times. Lamb does a wonderful job of telling the Birdsey brothers' story with realism and sharp humor. At the end, he guides you to make the conclusions you have been reading up to the whole 901 pages through. Quite possible the best novel I've ever read...

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Brilliant!
Review: Why are you wasting precious time reading online book reviews when you could be reading "I Know This Much Is True" instead? BUY THIS BOOK! Wally Lamb's second novel easily rivals his first. It's a complete joy from cover to cover. This is the kind of book that makes you want to call in sick so you can stay home from work and read.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Overplotted
Review: Following on the success of She's Come Undone, Lamb tries again with an even larger book. While much of it is well done, and even daring, he overplots, wrapping up all the loose ends at the end of the book. I think Lamb is suffering from the James Clavell syndrome. This type of happy ending almost destroys the emotional impact of the story, which spends most of its time showing how life is not fair.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Absolutely enthralling....
Review: I could not turn the 900+ pages fast enough. Dominick lead me through the most fabulous book I have read since Lamb's She's Come Undone. Brilliantly written and threaded together, the book unearths emotions and truths in the lives of its characters that just make the story so real and tangible. Wally Lamb has the unique gift of being able to crawl through the psychological chambers of his characters' souls and then document the findings.
