Rating: Summary: Amazing....& Beautiful Review: I bought this book on a whim. I have read other books by James Patterson and thought they were pretty good. When I saw that a master of suspense had written a love story I wondered how great it could actually be. A man who writes about murder could hardly write a book that would make a woman cry right? WRONG! I cried so hard! It is a beautifully written book! The author manages to keep you guessing all the way until the end about whether or not Matthew is having an affair. There were so many curveballs thrown at you during this book that it keeps you on your toes and turning page after page. I bought this book in the morning and finished it by the night. I could not put it down. Hats off to Mr. Patterson, I think this is his finest book to date and I hope to see more of them. If you haven't read this book...buy it! You will not be disappointed.
Rating: Summary: Disappointed Review: I have read several of James Patterson's previous books and was alway VERY glad that I did. This however, was an exception. It dragged too much and the love story of Suzanne and Matt was just too sappy for me. This is the first book that I've regretted buying in a while.
Rating: Summary: This book is amazing Review: While reading this book my mind was imagining different scenarios as to what was really happening. I could not put it down. It really made me appreciate everything that I have but it also made me happy that there was a happy ending. It was so full of emotions. I absaolutely loved it!!!
Rating: Summary: Amazing Review: This could possibly be the greatest book I've ever read.
Rating: Summary: A wonderful read Review: I have read all of James Patterson's books, I usually go for the thriller mystery type of books, but I have read Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas and couldn't put it down. I read it within one day and by the time I was finished I was sobbing. This is one of the best books I have ever read and let me tell you I have read thousands of books. I also stick by the rule of only reading a book once, there are so many books to read and not enough time to read them all, but this is one book I intend to read again. If you only buy and read one more book I strongly advice you to read this book.
Rating: Summary: A Heartwarming Must Read! Review: I absolutely loved this book! It is completely different from anything else James Patterson has written. Who would of thought that the king of suspense could write a heart warming / tear jerker like Suzanne's Diary For Nicholas! This book will warm anyone's heart...especially those mommies out there! I wouldn't want to give any of the book away...all I can say is grab a box of tissues get comfy and don't plan on putting this one down tell it's done!
Rating: Summary: Not the usual JP, more like Sparks Review: Great book. I suggest reading it aloud with your spouse. If you like "A Walk to Remember" or "Tuesday with Morrie", then this is a must read.
Rating: Summary: A quick, fun read Review: I received this book has a birthday gift and read the book while traveling home. This is a 180 degree turn from the usual Patterson books but a nice change of pace. This is a good book for a vacation or a long bath. Enjoy!!
Rating: Summary: Didn't Quite Grip Me Review: Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas is a good book that could have been a great novel. I enjoyed the story, but both the dialogue and tugs at your heart felt a little contrived. It lacked the emtional punch and depth of Shade of the Maple by Kirk Martin or The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. A pleasant escape, but if I had to do it over again, I would take a second spin around these other two books.
Rating: Summary: Definitely 4 Stars! Review: I've been reading James Patterson's books for the last couple of months. I'm trying to get them all! I really like his style. Once I was done with the Alex Cross novels, I HAD to pick this one up because I was very curious about it. I've read this book in a little over than 2 hours. I couldnt leave it. I couldnt do it without finding out what happened at the end. I dont think that James Patterson has intended to write this book to get the literary award of the year, but it's a very well written. Don't expect to have too much depth of the characters, but it's there. You still feel like you know these characters, you feel like you've seen them before. Their descriptions are more than adequate. The only reason i give this book a 4 is because I am not TOO big on romance novels and this story line, thous is very nice to read, is still a cliched love triangle of sorts. It reminded me of "Message In A Bottle" and of course of "Bridges of Madion County" which the author metions in the book. I do recommend that you read this book to see the "other" side of James Patterson. I'll definitely keep reading him!
