Summary: Good Reading
Review: This is not your typical James Patterson book with all the murder and such. Instead it's a love story. I was amazed at how well written it was. It was an excellent book and just shows how versatile James Patterson is.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Sloppy predictable romance novel
Review: The only thing missing was the breathless heroine in the clutches of the dashing hero on the cover. All the other essential elements of a trashy romance novel were there. But you'd be better off reading Barbara Cartland than Patterson. Avoid this if you like Patterson's other novels.. this one is a waste of money.

Summary: He can write anything!
Review: A longtime fan of Mr. Patterson's and the Alex Cross series of books, this one didn't surprise me, as James Patterson is a pro. One of the things I like about him is his short chapters, that always end with a temptation to turn the page. This is different for him, as it is not a crime drama, as most of is works are. It was still enthralling and a fast read. I read it in one day last summer on vacation and look forward to him doing something different once again. Read on to some of the other reviews to find out more about this story, then pick up a copy. This is one to keep on your shelf.

Summary: a different kind of story
Review: I have read lots of romance story, from men and women authors alike but none of them matched James Patterson flair in this particular book, his style is unique and the story original. Not all authors like to have a tragic story and some wouldn't sit well with the hero having truly loved another woman besides the one he's gonna end up with. This is totally different from what I used to, also cried buckets during the story and in the end.

This is a must read, done beautifully, that will surely capture the reader's hearts.

Summary: Old-Fashioned Eloquence
Review: This book will pull at your heart strings. The feelings you will have at the end of the book are overwhelmingly ambiguous. James Patterson should definitely write more romance novels. I couldn't put the book down because I wanted to see the turnout. It's beautifully written. Maybe it was because I can relate to Suzanne so much due to the fact I have been through a similar situation...I don't know. The details of this book are so real that images come to your mind as clear as if it were happening right in front of you. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a romanticist or who simply likes a little of the old-fashioned romance. It's a marvelous read!!

Summary: Enjoy for what it is
Review: After reading ALL the previous mixed reviews for this book I felt compelled to add another. I LOVED this book, ok so it's soppy, a real tear jerker. I'm a mother myself, and I think that the book is quite remarkable as it is infact written by a man. He provides a true insight into a mothers love. A very emotional book, don't read it if you have any 'baggage', it has to be accepted for what it is..a beautifully written piece of FICTION.

Summary: Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas......James Patterson
Review: A truly moving and emotional tale. Words cannot do it justice. Read it and weep.

Summary: I was enthralled!
Review: I love James Patterson's books, but I'll have to admit I was ready to hate this one. I don't usually like this sort of book and I was disappointed that one of my favorite writer's had defected. I was hooked; however, in the first 2 chapters.

This is a lovely story about Katie, a sophisticated NY editor and the poetry writing Matt, a handyman from Martha's vineyard. The wonderful writing and suprising twists play on your emotions as you read each chapter. At times it is impossible to like Matt as you wonder how he could be such a cad. At others, you see him through Suzanne's eyes and love him almost as much as she does. You will run a gamut of emotions for each of the characters as you try to figure out what is happening. At the end, all your preconceived notions about what this book was about are shattered.

This was a wonderful book that I would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you, James Patterson, for such a delightful story.

Review: This is a wonderful remarkable tale! It is truly moving beyond words. If you still believe in romance, this is the book for you!

Summary: Take this one on vacation with you
Review: This is a moving love story with two heroines and two separate stories which interconnect with each other. This book is an easy read and a good one to take to the beach.
