Summary: I read a book called Frindle
Review: I read a book called Frindle. It is about a boy in the fifth grade. He had a teacher called Mrs. Granger. I loved this book because it tells a story about how people have the power to change the world. It is a very good book to read. I would recommend it to children who like fiction books. You should read this book because it is a very good story. Nick is a boy who made up a word called frindle. A man called Bud Lawrence bought the word from Nick and made accessories with the word frindle on it. In the end Bud Lawrence bought the word from Nick. And Nick gives one million dollars to Mrs.Granger.

Summary: Frindle review
Review: Frindle, written by Andrew Clements, is a good book. If you like imagination and creation books Frindle is the book for you. This book is about a boy named Nick Allen who is ten years old, is very creative, and does not like his fifth grade teacher. One day Nick decides to make up his own word, frindle, which means pen. If you read this book you can see what kind of trouble Nick Allen can get into. If you are under thirteen, you will like this book a lot.

Summary: Easy and Fun to Read for Everyone.
Review: Over the summer, I had to read a book and write a review of it. I chose Frindle because it was about a boy named Nick who always has a lot of good ideas and used one of these ideas to rename the pen.
His idea to rename the pen a "frindle" was funny when his friends started to use it but I think it got funnier when the whole town started using the word.
This book was fun to read because you want to find out how everything turns out.
This book was 105 pages but with the big letters, you can read it in about 3 days if you want.

Summary: An Amazing Book
Review: When Nick Allen begins the fifth grade he is warned of the cranky language arts teacher, Mrs. Granger, who is known for giving MOUNTAINS of homework, and for the humongous dictionary she owns. Nick, who manages to get on her bad side the first day of school, is assigned to do a report on how words get written in the dictionary. At first Nick can't believe his rotten luck--but then he gets to thinking. Why can't HE invent a word? The aforesaid word spreads through the class quickly, and soon the whole school is using the word frindle! Frindle is becoming a national phenomenon! But can Nick's word pass the final test?--and make its way into the dictionary?

Summary: Good story -- Good characters -- Good book !!
Review: Frindle is a great book. It is great because of the details on the people. I can really tell what they're feeling. Frindle is a pen in Nick's words. Will his word be a real word and go into the dictionary? I can see the picture in my mind. It seems so possible, so real, with just the perfect words to fit it all together. It is really an amazing great fiction chapter book.

Summary: A fabulous read for young and old
Review: Of all the books I've read with my son this year, "Frindle" has been one of the most memorable. I felt the character, Nick, was a lovable guy (one my son could relate to) and the story had a message about relationships and (generally) positive behavior--albeit fun behavior. I read this book with my 8-year old son and we both laughed and cried together. I like that it spans years--into Nick's adulthood. It was a wonderful read and I recommend it to others often.

Summary: The Unbelievable Book!
Review: Frindle by Andrew Clements

What's a frindle? Well in this book; pen becomes frindle. It all starts when Nick Allen gets an idea. He asks himself why does a pen have to be called pen; why not frindle?

I think this book is great! This book is funny because Nick and his teacher get into a battle about whether a pen should be called pen or frindle. Which will win pen or frindle?

The thing I learned is learning about words can be fun. I also think the author wanted to teach the history of words.
