Review: If you are as fed up with politicians as I am, and their total focus on saving their jobs at ANY cost, then you will love this book. Yea, the plot's a stretch, but I happen to love the solution. A real page-turner...I couldn't put it down.

Review: Vince Flynn has written a courageous tale at a time where politicans are being exposed in record numbers for what we all know they are. The self serving particianship, the undeniable quest for nothing more than power, and an almost absolute greed that posesses the members of the hill are exposed and dealt with for America's sake. I felt the authors rage at injustice and his peace of mind in the explosive conclusion. Watch your backs Tom, Robert, and Leon, there's a new kid on the block and his name is Vince.

Summary: I loved it, my husband loved it, etc., etc., etc.
Review: Thanks, Mr. Flynn, for sharing this gripping, believable story with me. As a conservative with tremendous respect for members of our Special Forces (no, I'm not a radical right-winger), I found myself feeling the same frustration the SEALS were dealing with in Term Limits. Oh, yeah, some of the targets were recognizable--and I loved that--and the methods used for imposing their term limits were pretty "out there," but gosh they were good at what they did! As soon as I finished the book, I insisted my husband read it (he's big into Clancy, etc.) and he loved it as much as I did. Even missed a baseball game to finish it...and our daughter just finished it and raved about it. She's always been into fantasy novels, but has now asked for more books like Term Limits. Shame to say, there aren't many out there as well done as this one. Hope Flynn will write more about Michael O'Rourk and his friends!

Review: Received this book from a great couple I met on Martha's Vineyard - we did a book swap- I got the better deal. Enjoyed the story and chararters. I am looking for the movie version!!! Gave the book to my father -- waiting his opinion--he's tough!!!

Summary: Good air travel time filler
Review: I generally enjoyed the idea of SOMEone taking action to get our elected "Representatives" off the dime & finally starting to do something about the budget and the fact that they're really owned by the lobbyist crowd, but... I can't condone murder for any reason. The way things are going, Demos wanting to spend the surplus vs. paying down the National Debt and The GOP wanting to cut taxes so there won't BE a surplus, maybe we (taxpayers) could argue that it's self-defense and I COULD condone that. The one thing I noticed that distracted from the story for me was the cutting of the "u joint" next to the propeller of the Greenpeace ship. As someone who's worked on ships of all flavors for over 30 years, that's a first for me. Propellers are usually fitted to a tapered area at the end of the shaft & held on with a nut. The only universal joints would be inside the ship if it were a Vee Drive configuration and that is not usually done on craft of the size described. Other than that, it was a pretty good read for passing time in the airport.
