Summary: anything for a buck
Review: Yet another book by an entertainer that's out to make a dollar. Nothing new here....but what's amazing is so many take her seriously! Try looking up the facts for yourself for once instead of letting some greedy jerk take your money from you. Spreading lies isn't a crime in America...but it ought to be.

Summary: The Saddest Book in American History
Review: The liberal-slanted media lie is a pervasive myth that is beaten to death in this muckraking opus from the greatest BS artist conservatives have ever seen. Without even basic fact checking on anything other that conservative think tank sites, Ann proves that you don't have to try to get into political writing.

Summary: PT Barum would be proud
Review: I've wanted to read Ms. Coulter's book for sometime because I could not believe its as bad, nutty and vicious as Ms. Coulter and some commentators would have you believe. But I didn't want her to receive a royalty for my doing so. Thus, when I saw it on a table at the public library I checked it out. This is one case where the advance publicity is accurate.

Having now read the book, the big mystery is whether Ms. Coulter is such a fanatic that she will use the Big Lie technique to persuade her audience or whether she is simply a clever huckster laughing all the way to the bank. In other words is she more Herman Goering or PT Barnum? Based upon her resume and the few snippets of her I have caught on her talk show circuits, I have concluded she is too intelligent to believe her own rantings and instead has decided to make a living selling her snake oil to the suckers. She is in short more Barnum than Goering Unfortunately, she has fooled enough of the people enough of the time that she should not be ignored.

Summary: Excellent Coverage Of Liberal Lies
Review: First off, this is a review of the abridged CD version.

This book is outstanding. Out of the several conservative audio books I have listened to, this is by far my favorite. Ann Coulter is amazing in the amount of research she presents in her book. The facts that she uncovers regarding liberal slant in the media and religion in politics are unbelievable.

Ann Coulter spends a lengthy amount of time discussing media. I always believed there was a liberal slant but never was able to do the research to support this belief. In Slander, all the facts are presented. From the media's double standards when dealing with candidates' speech errors to the hypocrisy of calling of incorrectly calling a state for one of the parties, every important slant in the past 5 years is discussed.

The end of the book discusses the religious right, which as Ms. Coulter informs, does not exist. The dissection of lies is quite informative.

I highly suggest this book for anyone interested in politics. Both liberals and conservatives will take away a wealth of information. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that there is a large amount of references to individuals that I am unfamiliar with. Listening to the audio book made it difficult to look up the names. Besides this, the book is outstanding. I eagerly look forward to reading her latest work.

Summary: Lordy! I just figured out she's serious!
Review: Omigod, I've been friends with liberals for years and never knew how awful they were. Thanks so much, Ann, for the fair and balanced information. You're a real giant.

Summary: Don't fill yourself with hate
Review: This book is full of blame game and hate. She is in denial about most of the facts. The book is very predictable and every fact is twisted with an right winged agenda.

Spare yourself from this hate filled book and a few bucks.

Summary: Ann Coulter is a Nutcase...
Review: All I have to say is that although her sources might support her writing, those sources have just as many conservative lies in them as her book.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Lies, not facts
Review: If you are a conservative, then you will love this book. No, not because it proves why conservatism is better than liberalism through factual evidence and debate-lik nature, but because her outrageous lies will only support your already built-in bias against liberals.

Btw: Liberal - favoring progress and reform in social institutions and fullest practicable liberty of individual action.

Do you see anything wrong with that? I dont, but conservatives use this term as if it's meant to diss someone.

So if you would like to reinforce your bias with more conservative lies and distortion of truth, this book is for you.

Summary: Ann Coulter Rocks
Review: Dont listen to the those who claim her research is bunk. Do your OWN research. I checked quite a few of her references and they were right on the money. Many people are only angry because Ann's book shows us whats really going on. We have all been horrificly manipulated to believe in nonsense.

Summary: Vitriolic Spew
Review: If you're into blind hatred, mischaracterization of facts, paranoia, etc... this is another gem from Ann's jaded crown.

Internal conflict due to confused sexual identity? You make the call.
