Summary: Thank God for O'Reilly
Review: Thank God for O'Reilly. This is a great book and very interesting. He stands up for the truth and for what is important in America. He is very intelligent and has well defined opinions. There are too many special interest groups in the USA which have political influence way beyond their numbers. If you care about the future of America and morality in America you should read this book. O'Reilly has the guts to stand up to politically powerful jerks.

Summary: Our Best News Journalist
Review: Bill O'Reilly is an exceptional Journalist:
1) He shows up; fears no one.
2) Informs us straight, after thoroughly doing his homework.
3) Often causes positive results.

His detractors, including the ones who "have our best interests at heart," seem bent on vengence. They are unimaginative, illogical and can't contain their envy.

Without exception they go after Bill O'Reilly himself and not specifics. Most liberals can handle two or three rebuttals to their arguments and then they fall apart; next comes the personal hostility. Very predictable. (Did someone here mention sheep?)

His personal approach certainly works and his reporting is way above most in communications. This book is a testament and a textbook to anyone who wants to fully understand the approach and tactics of a skilled interview and observer.
Bravo, Mr. O'Reilly.

Summary: 5 stars is not enough...
Review: Mr. O represents what every journalist should be and what every American wants, fair, honest and factual reporting. The so called "big three" (CBS, NBC, CNN) have become liberal/democratic
spin machines, no longer able to report the facts but only to censor the news to further their liberal beliefs and causes. Thank God there is a person like Mr. O who can stand up to the rich and powerful and represent the working class people of America.

Summary: O'Reilly's not afraid to take them on
Review: Bill O'Reilly isn't afraid of the powers that be. However, many are afraid of him. For example, to Al Sharpton's credit, he took the heat and appeared on the O'Reilly factor. However, to his discredit, Jesse Jackson has dodged the no spin zone and refuses to appear to answer the hard questions about his finances. Another no show is Hillary Clinton. O'Reilly absolutely skewers her in this book for ducking not only him, but for ducking all hard interviews.

One of the most intersting chapters is the one on his interview with Dan Rather. This interview was reported by the main stream media and raised a lot of eyebrows when Rather said that Bill Clinton is honest. When pressed by O'Reilly, he admitted that Clinton told lies but concluded that someone who tells a lot of lies can be honest. Now, who would you rather get your news from, Dan Rather or Bill O'Reilly?

O'Reilly takes on the ACLU for defending the infamous organization NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Association) which advocates the legalization of men having sex with young boys. There have been rapes of boys by members and O'Reilly points out that NAMBLA's website gives advice that goes beyond free speech to being an accessory to the crime. He, on the other hand, also took on Dr. Laura for her uncompromising position against working mothers. Bill is not necessarily conservative or liberal; he sorms his strong opinions based on how he sees the facts.

O'Reilly admits that he is often rude but, he states the reason is because he has to get the subjects of his interviews back on track. The rules of the no spin zone are that the interviewee has to answer the question and not try to weasel out. If there is any equivocation, O'Reilly feels justified in cutting the person off.

I had to drive from Washington, DC to Westchester County, NY so I bought this book on audio tape to fill the time (the length was perfect, the audio book ended just as I was about to pull into my driveway). I enjoyed the audio version because O'Reilly himself was the reader. However, whether you read or listen to this book, you will appreciate his no spin approach,

Summary: Enjoyable and Quick ...But
Review: If you are a regular "Factor" viewer, there is really not much new here. The most interesting info was about Bill's career at CBS as the backdrop for his Dan Rather interview. Still, it is an enjoyable, quick read.

Summary: Wanders--With More Structure, Sequel Could Be Sensational
Review:
Unlike the first book, which offered a very fine slice of structured thoughts across 20 topics, this is more of an ego-driven one-upsmanship volume, and it does not help the intelligent reader (or their intelligent cheerful gifted pets) make sense out of the world. This one wanders.

I would like to see O'Reilly do a "Mandate for Leadership" type book where he invites more than one expert at a time to his show, structured over the course of a year to cover each aspect of the real-world threat and how our government is organized to manage American on our behalf, and let's see if he can bring out the best of our distributed citizen knowledge.

We know the author is really good at rooting out the truth--can he take it to the next level and manage a national conversation that actually improves the State of the Nation?

Summary: A Must Read
Review: Should be required reading for everyone. Maybe politics would change if everyone did read it. O'Reilly exposes some folks for what they are. A real eye opener!

Summary: Bill OReilly for President
Review: Alot of people (not all) who are critical of Bills' inquiries to get to the bottom of situations that appear to be corrupt or in question, are simply misinformed, or uninformed altogether. Others simply do not wish to "rock the boat" or are self centered to the point that no other persons opinions are relevant. Then there is the very old and very true saying " a lie is always easier to believe than the truth". Thankfully we have some people like Bill who are not afraid of the truth.

Summary: Bill OReilly for President
Review: Alot of people (not all) who are critical of Bills'inquiries to get to the bottom of situations are simply misinformed or uninformed alltogether. I believe that he is honest and at least tries to get to the bottom of situations that appear to be corrupt. Most people simply do not wish to "rock the boat" or are to self centered to wish to become involved at all. There is the old and very true saying, a lie is much easier to believe than the truth.

Summary: A Kick In The (...) To Close-Minded Liberals & Conservatives
Review: Another"eye-opener" from Bill! The O'Reilly Factor has challenged the "Status Quo" in the Media, and challenged people to THINK. This book is definitively for "clear-thinking" people -- the Clooneys, the zombies, and the "don't make me think" of the world can continue sucking their thumbs.
