Summary: As good as the show.
Review: If you enjoy The O'Reilly Factor entertainment news show on Fox as much as I do, then you'll like this book. It reads just like a transcript of the show (or, at least, like the Talking Points segment). O'Reilly is good at cutting through the bull and presenting the main arguments. Sometimes he falls into generalities and a little spin-doctoring (failing at his own 'No-Spin' gimmick), but it's all in good fun. I was only sad that the book was so short!

Summary: Please Begin To Get The Picture
Review: Oddly enough, I agree with the five star Commentary by Norman Thomas Remick author of "West Point" (I took the trouble to look it up) from November 8, 2001 that said most authors give us 25 pages of bonafide factual research and stretch it into a 250 page book. The problem is, O'Reilly has done the same thing with his book, "The No-Spin Zone". I'm sorry, but the book fits the M.O. of books that fall into the quick-write spin-zone. It has 200 pages of his own pompous pseudo-philosophy, stated as facts. He needs to get hold of a book that reviews the real philosophy he probably had in college, perhaps like the book of his obvious "fan" above, and put some foundation under his know-it-all presentaments. Then the no-spin spinner might truly become a no-spinner, and perhaps even win people like me over to his side, rather than continue to be a big know-it-all. My guess is, however, he will simply take that as bad advice from the other side. For he automatically has all those sheep out there that, like the lead sheep that falls into a hole, just follow right into the same hole. That's my impression of most of the 80% favorable Amazon.com reviews I have just finished reading that Bill O'Reilly so pompously mentions on his TV show in the process of taking expensive air time to spin his own book. Too bad, because all the reviewers do seem to be intelligent, however mesmerized they may be. Bill O'Reilly is obviously a good guy and a noble-minded American who I could enjoy watching more often, and who got my money for his "book of opinions". I strongly recommend that he and his "O'Reilly Regiments" take to heart what I have said here from the heart. I hope they all, please, begin to get the picture.

Summary: This man is Very Sick and Dangerous!
Review: This man is Very Sick and Dangerous! We should NOT encourage this type of behavior!
He needs treatment... Serious professional help of a psychiatric nature.

Summary: Too short of a book
Review: This was an excellant book except for the length of it. That's why it is only deserving of four stars. O'Reilly's talent shines through yet again, but it seems that he cut himself short right when he was really on a role. I would have loved to see another 100 pages. I guess we'll all have to wait for his next book. Maybe he'll call it "Me, Myself, and I". LOL

Summary: Lisa Manning
Review: Great book! No matter if you agree with him or not. Love him, and it's great! Hate him, and it's fuel for the fire! What more could you want from a book? Many of the negitive reviews on here prove my point. Seem's many hate him, but yet STILL, bought and read his book. So who's the smart one?? hmmmmmm And just for the record, if you indeed READ the entire book or even watch his show. He only offers his oppinion and ALWAYS says "YOU DECIDE" I read it in one sitting and can't wait for the next one! Keep up the great work Bill, kick some butt! haha

Summary: Finally!!!
Review: I have been waiting for years to finally hear somebody expose crooks like Jesse Jackson who seem to be media darlings no matter how evil their agenda. Mr O uncovers a huge tax scandal of Mr Jackson, using charitable donations to buy off his mistress and protect many other highly paid employees. Incredible that this info never made the national coverage it should have. This chapter alone was worth what I paid. Mr O also manages to stay "pithy" himself as he asks from his viewers. Most of the chapters are read in under 10 minutes because he leaves out the excess chatter and filler many other authors use.

Summary: No Spin Indeed
Review: It is amazing this book made it to the best seller list. Its appearance will be brief. This book is just more blather from the king of blather, Mr. Bill O'Reilly. O'Reilly fashions himself as the champion of the little man. He is more like the Wizard of OZ, making decrees and hiding behind the curtain. O'Reilly attacks everyone and everything that does not fit his view of the world. I will cede one point to O'Reilly; he does operate in a "no spin zone". O'Reilly yammers on endlessly, no one can get a word in, so there is no chance for spin. His attack on Hillary Clinton was unwarranted. Hillary can't help it if she is a heartless shrew who puts her own self interest above all else. She has been married to Bill Clinton for over 20 years, after all. Unless you are an O'Reilly Republican and drank the kool-ade, this book is not for you.

Summary: No Spin can keep this one from the top of the charts..
Review: CAUTION: This book is not for the spin prone or the weak hearted. Both liberals and conservatives should commend this man for his articulate and passionate arguments on todays most vexing issues. If other books leave you hanging or just plain bored then try this one. Bill O'Reilly is sure to get to the point quick and keep you reading.

Summary: I love O'Reilly, But....
Review: I really love the O'Reilly Factor, but this book really doesn't meet the high standards of the no spin zone. It seems as if the publisher called Bill up and said, "Hey, we need another million, write another book!" Seriously, buy his first book and read it...it was GREAT. This one...come on Bill, I know you read these, you can do better. This is just a summary of the show and transcripts. This book just may be ridiculous! ;)

Summary: The No-Spin Zone:
Review: What a relief. Someone who is not afraid of being straight forward with what he believes and want us to see the reality of what we as a nation have been trying to bury under a rock somewhere. He is writing about the powerful and famous that we have helped create. He loves this nation and wants us to think about how things have gotten out of control because we have felt so secure with the status quo without realizing what it cost. I urge you to read this book. He does not push his opinions on you. He just gets them out in the open.
