Summary: A thought-provoking work (and not just for Whites)
Review: As a reader of Asian Indian origin, I have a perspective on this work which is not discussed here. I find especially interesting chapter 29, "My Indian Odyssey: A Ghost Haunts Me Still," wherein Duke relates his experience visiting India, being appalled by the ugliness and putrefaction of a once noble and glorious civilization. Duke theorizes that the devastating condition of Indian society today is largely the result of a failed caste system which once upon a time kept the blood of the Aryan, Indo-European people and aboriginal peoples of that land from mixing. While I am unable to refute Duke's persuasive arguments for the demise of Indian civilization, I am yet to be convinced that some of the more illustrious personages of ancient India, such as the Buddha, were not of mixed race.Regarding "The Jewish Question," although Duke rightly points out the disproportionate influence of Jews in the Russian Communist movement, the American Civil Rights movement, the current media and politics, I don't think the large number of Jews in positions of influence is necessarily unreasonable or scandalous considering their superior intellects (Jews have an average IQ of 115). (Then again, both George Washington and Benjamin Franklin warned against the infiltration of Jews in the U.S.) On the other hand, Duke's discussion of blacks is on the mark and could not be more accurate. There has been a 15-point difference between the average IQ's of whites and blacks in America ever since IQ tests were first administered in the earlier part this century. Because American society has become much more egalitarian and accommodating of blacks during the same period, serious people can no longer believe that the persistent IQ gap between whites and blacks does not have a largely genetic basis. And the fact that pure African blacks have even lower IQ's than American blacks (who are largely mixed race Negroid-Caucasoids) strongly supports the genetic argument. ... All in all, I think "My Awakening" is an enlightening work and a breath of fresh air in the midst of the current non-sensical egalitarian dogma, as most of the reviews here can attest. It appears that Americans are finally beginning to come to grips again with the realities of genetic and hereditary class and race differences which other societies have known about (and even celebrated) for ages. (It sure did take this generation long enough!) Welcome to the club, the egalitarian dream is over!

Review: "I dedicate this work to my friend, William Shockley --- scientist, inventor, activist and Nobel Prizewinner. Dr. Shockley invented the transistor, laid the foundation of Silicon Valley and thus ushered in the electronic, computer and information age. He not only fought bravely for the truth, his scientific work made its dissemination inevitable. He not only crusaded for our heritage, he gave it the means to victory. Future generations will someday realize his vital role in the struggle for our survival of our people and the securing of our freedom."

Summary: Please Read This
Review: It is very easy to rationalize views that "feel good". It is easy to want to cling to something that tells you you are good, special, and it has a solution to your problems. But the science and the factual information behind this book are tremendously lacking. This book is extremely dangerous, and what's even more frightening is that most people cannot see that. The base of the book--that race exists--is something we would like to believe. Wanting to believe it does not make it true, though, and just because some scientists say it can be proved is also not proof of its truth. Scientists can curve studies to prove almost anything you could imagine. It is easy to manipulative research, especially when you have an agenda. Case in point: there are scientific studies to show the superiority of the black race. Are they true? No. The same is true for the studies of the book. "The concept of race is a social and cultural construction . . . Race simply cannot be tested or proven scientifically. It is clear that human populations are not unambiguous, clearly denoted, biologically distinct groups." -American Anthropological Association The truth is that the vast majority of genuine scientists who are NOT being funded by those on the right-wing agenda can find no solid "proof" of such a thing as race even exisiting, biologically. It is a social construction. Now, if you choose to believe in what Mr. Duke is saying, then that is your right. But you should be aware that his research is VERY faulty and suspicious. I know it feels good . . . but that does not make it true, my friend. It seems so accurate . . . but that does not make it accurate. And if you truly respect science, and not just science that supports your agenda, then you, like me, will have difficulty respecting Mr. Duke's book as more than typical racist propoganda dressed up in psuedo-scientific/intellectual garb. David Duke is feeding White Americans lies that make us feel good . . . sugar coated poison. But he is not helping White Americans. He is not revealing any true indentity. Cultural pride is a glorious thing . . . and it does not have to come at the expense of others. When it does, that is a prime sign of insecurity. It's like a little child, with some flashy study: "See look, look! I AM better than you after all . . . and furthermore, it's all YOUR fault things are messed up !" This is the easy way out. Not the best way. Not the Truth. Just because it feels good, my friend, does not make it good . . . or true . . . or valid.

Summary: Interesting
Review: A well-written,interesting account of the development of racial attitudes and relations in the US. The author clearly has a slant against blacks and jews, but this is a good read if you want a view of US society that you'll never see in the mainstream press. I can't say that I agree with all his opinions, but he raises some valid points. He makes himself an easy target by taking shots at the jewish domination of most of our society, but let's face facts... he's right. Look at any media source, finance source, the professions,etc. They tend to control key areas of American society. I wish he spent a bit more time on the abosolute garbage being fobbed on our society by tv/movies/music; that's where real accountability should begin. An interesting book, but I can't say I agree with all of it.

Review: Judging by Amazon.com's sales rankings: Francis Parker Yockey's "Imperium" holds the 106,075th place, probably because it was written only for intellectuals. George Lincoln Rockwell's "White Power" holds the 71,314th place, probably because it was written only for single guys; Andrew Macdonald's "Turner Diaries" holds the 8,122th place, probably because it was written for the revolutionary fish who have no ocean (community) to survive in; and David Duke's "My Awakening" holds the 7,494th place - because conscious whites have voted with their dollars that it is the most relevant book. There was a time when Pilgrim's Progress was the second most popular book in American, right after the Bible. Today Pilgrim's Progress is only the 34,043th book on the Amazon.com rating, way behind the spiritual journey recounted by David Duke. At this rate Duke's book could become more than a number one best seller; for it has the potential of igniting a transformation within a people long needing to overcome their fallen condition.

Summary: Excellent Scholarship!
Review: David Duke has exposed, in a cogent and logical manner, the truth about the multi-cultural hell and jewish dominance that White America has to look forward to in the present and succeeding generations. It is refreshing because most "hate" books do go over the edge on their conclusions because of the emotional nature of the subject. Not this book. Effective liberal propaganda has brainwashed our white children and young adults in to racial and national treason on a massive scale for too long. This TRUTHFUL and well REASONED piece of propaganda has the potential to finally straighten out the White Man's thinking to one of pride in heritage and in posterity. A must read!

Summary: Brilliant!
Review: David Duke's MY AWAKENING is a surprisingly well-researched, scholarly account of one American's perspective on race relations in America. I say "surprisingly", because Duke has been relentlessly, and erroneously, portrayed as a "dangerous extremist" by the so-called objective media. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is refreshing to finally see a white Christian American patriot standing up for the rights, interests, and culture of America's majority population in such a thorough fashion. I was particularly impressed by the comprehensive sources section. My only complaint is the occasional focus on Jews and the Talmud. Who cares? Yes, many Jews are left-wing, but so are many Christians. I have many right-wing Jewish friends, some of them college instructors, who share the same views as expressed in this book. So why piss off and alienate a potential group of sympathisers by obsessing about Judaism? That's my only criticism of an otherwise excellent work. Buy this book for your family and friends, send or lend copies to everyone you know: police officers and servicemen, businessmen, housewives, parents, politicians, etc.. This book deserves to be read by everyone. I predict that it will become a set textbook for the coming counter-revolution in America and Europe. Well done David!

Summary: One of the best researched books I have read in a long time
Review: David Dukes book is a must read for anyone that has concern for this country.My Awakening is the perfect title for this book.Maybe it should be called YOUR Awakening.It well wake up a spirit of patriotism so many of us have been missing in our lives.I know there are some who would disagree with me and they are those who havn't read the book,but David Duke belongs in the history books along side Ben Franklin and Thomas Paign.The book starts a little slow but builds with research and scientific facts that make the book hard to put down.David Duke is one great American.

Summary: "Flat Earth" Egalitarianism VS. Duke's "the World Is Round"
Review: There is no argument that the Politically Correct Sensitivity Squad of Brotherly Love, Peace and Tolerance would enjoy fitting Duke with a pair of concrete boots for a swim in the ocean. Duke is the Galileo of the forbidden racial-separatist idea. It is quite possible the complacency of the American population will allow someone like Duke to be punished for telling the truth - much like Galileo was punished for blasphemy. How unfortunate it would be if it took 400 years for Duke's ideas to be recognized as legitimate! MY AWAKENING is easy to read, captivating, and at the moment, legal. How many of its critics have actually read MY AWAKENING cover to cover? How many of these "enlightened" lovers of tolerance want to bury Duke and his book, sentencing society to an eternity of wheel reinvention?
