Summary: Explosively powerful and seamlessly logical
Review: This is a brave and intelligent book by a brave and intelligent man. We have been all infected and poised by the mass media for too long. Pollitically right over ruling the ultimate truth becames daily life in the world. Those who dare to speak truth were labeled racists while those who repeatedely lie were praised 'truth' tellers. I am not a white, but I support Mr. Duke's course. If we want to preserve our human civilization, we have to seek the truth, regardless how painful it might be. Tell truth as it is. That is it!

Summary: Euro-American Christians UNITE
Review: As a European-American Christian, I was deeply moved by Duke'spersonal journey toward the truth about race and especially our proudpeople. His clear-cut form, and painstaking reference to peer-reviewed, scholarly studies was a breath of fresh air in a world where truth has become obscured. The fact that Stephen Jay Gould and other anthropologists of the socialist bent have been brought "out" by other academics, only supports Duke's thesis, that the races ARE different, and that race DOES matter. For our people, and for blacks. NO WHERE does Duke claim that whites are superior, in fact he speaks highly of black accomplishment at what they are good at, their best attributes. But he is painfully honest, and that will be what hurts his critics the most. Our people have a spirit that can never be extinguished, and Duke is but one light in the fire that is our provence. ...I wish him well and look forward to reading his next work.

Summary: Race and Environment, You can't Dismiss David Duke's Researc
Review: If you have no preconceived notions about the social battle we fight over the problems of race relations, you should read this book. You won't like thinking about the ramifications of this subject. David Duke's research is the foundation for his conclusions. If you Don't like him, then you are obligated to Research HIS research. There are too many valid sources for his scientific conclusions to be ignoring him as a racist. Alot of his research is post 1970 and I have read no rebuttals to his argument, just the accusation that he's a nut case racist. This book proves you can be fairminded to the subject and not be a radical. Even if you disagree with his conclusions, we ought to be discussing this in the national media instead of the mindless repetition of junk anti racist stuff we see. My problem is that there is probably no easy solution to separitism without a bloodbath. So what do we do?

Summary: Fascinating book recommended for the average reader
Review: This book was not as much of an eye-opener to me as other reviewers because I had read The Bell Curve already, and believe that book gives a similar picture of the scientific evidence for genetic causes of differences in racial IQ. I decided to buy My Awakening after reading a sample chapter at Duke's web site, where I discovered that it was also a moving personal memoir as well. The strength of this book is that it is appropriate for the average reader who may not be interested in a purely scientific treatise. Mr. Duke weaves historical and scientific evidence sucessfully through the narrative of his life, which in itself is a fascinating subject. He quotes Jewish publications and activists almost exclusively to expose hypocritical Jewish ethnocentrism and bigotry--a taboo subject in the mainstream press. Duke has read widely, and has an excellent grasp of history. Indeed, he expresses more enthusiasm for our Greco-Roman-Pagan cultural heritage than any Christian I can think of. As an atheist, I respect him greatly for that. He also expresses great admiration and respect for the Japanese, a remarkable people who have embraced much of European culture and have risen to the second most productive nation in the world from the ashes of defeat in World War II. He believes that Whites may have something to learn from the Japanese as well... There are some negative aspects to this book: There are far too many grammatical errors that weren't caught by the proofreader--if he had one. I hope they are corrected in future editions, because it takes something away from the lucidity of Duke's arguments. This book was self-published (for obvious reasons), so he may not have had a budget and may be forgiven--but it is a glaring flaw nonetheless. Be prepared to re-read certain passages that should be crystal-clear but aren't but for a misplaced comma, parenthesis or redundant word. Mr. Duke does not take a critical look at the destructive role of Christian beliefs on European-Americans. He hints that the philosophy of "love your enemies" and "turn the other cheek" may have something to do with our reluctance to stand firmly for our European heritage, but that subject deserves a chapter in itself instead of just one sentence. I would like to see him reconcile the noble, pro-reason, worldly-oriented view of man given to us by ancient Greece with the original sin and rewards-in-the afterlife of the Bible. I don't agree with his entire thesis, but I admire and respect Duke, who must be considered by friends and enemies alike as one of the most courageous men alive. Read this book to find out why.

Review: After countless books and news stories that distort David Duke andwhat he stands for, I'm glad to see a book that tells the truth abouthim. David Duke is not some inbred hick. He's a well educated man whoonce had liberal beliefs as a result of the liberal media. But hisreal-life experience showed him that equality is just a media-enforcedmyth. When he learned this, he became more and more concerned aboutthe future of our nation. Now, he's one of the few politicans who hasthe courage to disagree with the far-left and the hypocracy itcontains. I've read newspaper reviews of this book, and many of thereviewers didn't even bother to read the book. This book tells ushow David Duke became who he is. Contrary to the media, David Duke wasnot born into the Klan, and he did not become a racist because ofparenting. His beliefs are based entirely from his personalexperiences and what he learned himself. His ideas about integrationand the Holocaust are valid, and he deserves a chance to express hisopinions. He doesn't want to reinstate slavery. David Duke studied race andsaw that whites have created almost everything we take for granted,even though whites have never been the majority of the worldpopulation. David Duke doesn't want to kill all Jews. He justknows that the history of the Holocaust is one-sided, and there needsto be open debate. But, likealways in a "tolerant society" like ours, the liberals nevergive David Duke a chance. Often, when he plans to give a speech,minority activists create such a disturbance that no one can hearhim. Newspapers are happy to feature slanderous articles about DavidDuke, but they're never willing to print any of his replies. There aremany examples of the liberal hypocracy in this book. If you want tobelieve the media's lies about egalitarianism, then read yournewspaper. If you're happy about your rights being taken away in thename of diversity, then watch the network news. If you want theuncensored truth about David Duke and race, then read this book.

Summary: Too much data
Review: I am a admirer of David Duke's since he is able to represent Anglo interests without conveying hate. He is the hispanic man's Ceasar Chavez or the black man's Jesse Jackson. He has fought for equality for all since the 60's. This book, however, is a boring compilation of outdated authors and facts that gets bogged down in minute scientific details about IQ and ability. This is probably not necessary and has been written several times before. It almosts states that he needs to scientifically prove segregation rather than explain it based on "gut" feeling. Lets face it, when I walk through Watts or East LA, I don't like it. I don't need science to explain why I don't like these neighborhoods or most of the people who live there. I just don't. Anyway, could be better, huge fan!

Summary: Simply the best book on race ever writen
Review: Don't pay any attention to the naysayers on here who condemn this book becuase it supposedly is based on "discredited" research. The only people it's discredited by are bleeding-heart liberals who denounce the research without ANY proof that the research is wrong. Just because a liberal dislikes the results of a study does not, in and of itself, "discredit" that research. The research Duke cites is legitimate and devastating to the cause of liberal do-goodism.

Summary: Pure, undiluted truth!
Review: Duke's book is a masterpiece of common sense. He has carefully cut through the 'politically correct' garbage that most people now consider to be truth and hit the nail right on the head! The differences between races ARE very important and they ARE fixed forever. No amount of rhetoric from liberals about 99% of genes being the same for whites and blacks is EVER going to change my mind. Readers should bear in mind that 98% of genes are the same for humans and apes, but nobody would dispute that these are totally different species! Racial differences are not just cultural, they are profound, innate and immutable. The modern problem is that most scientists simply do not want to discuss race as a subject - a minority (mostly financed by the government or various public bodies) are enthusiatically in favour of race miscegenation and openly state lies to back up their cause. One example is Prof Steve Jones - a well-known British geneticist in the pay of the establishment. An even smaller minority risk vilification and ostracism for stating what is really true - read David's book to know why. The only solution to the race problem is the creation of mono-ethnic states - I agree that in the case of nations like the US this would not be easy, but it CAN be done - North America is big enough for everybody. A start can be made by ENCOURAGING WHITE immigration into the US and BLOCKING NON-WHITE immigration. The 'New World Order' leaders of the world are strongly in favour of race mixing - this is their 'global solution' to the problems of the world. By annhilating physical differences between nations, they hope that this will make it easier to establish WORLD GOVERNMENT! And guess what religious/ethnic group is the only one which advocates race mixing for others while keeping itself 'pure'? Yes, you've guessed it! Naturally, this group is the one behind most of the plans of the 'New World Order'. The 'end of nations' is their ultimate aim - never forget this. When this happens, they will reign supreme and unopposed! For a taste of what is to come, look at South Africa: one of the highest crime rates in the world, with RAPE definitely the HIGHEST in the world! Thousands of white women are being deliberately targeted by black gangs from the townships, as a direct and EVIL revenge against white man. In Zimbabwe it is theft rather than rape that is the means of revenge. White farmers are having their land taken away from them by the dictator Mugabe and are living in constant fear of robbery and violent attacks. By dispossessing and harassing whites, Mugabe is trying to force them out of the country - the 'New World Order' sits back and does nothing. Can you imgaine what would happen if blacks were targeted like this in Europe or America? This is the big 'thank you' that whites have received for building hospitals, schools and economic prosperity (now long vanished) to Africa. Patriotic people in the USA and all over the world will agree with David Duke - our only chance of future freedom is to keep our ethnic identity. Join the fight now! Summary: A Very Well Documented "Life" book.
Review: This book was pretty good in that it shows you the world view from the eyes of the "defeated" right wingers. From page 1, i was hooked on what this man had to say. The book is a very good source of historical material for the average Joe, or students of all ages. Before I read this book I did not give Duke much credit. Now, it has all changed. Go for it, buy it, dont be scared!
