Philadephia Chickens is an exuberant, fun-filled, manic romp that engages and captivates, and "youngsters" from 3 to 93 will revel in all the fun.

Summary: A musical for all ages!
Review: Yeah! This is a fantastic book/CD for my whole family. Though we are all above the recommended ages. (Our youngest is 9) We have had a great time with this musical. On road trips it has replaced our normal sing along songs. The laughed so hard the first time I heard it I was in tears. The kids love it as much as I do. This is a delight for all ages. High praise by the whole family, including my dog named Bob.

Review: I think our children and grandchildren will regard Sandra Boynton as we and our parents regard Dr. Seuss. As usual, her stories are adorable. I saw highlights on the today show this morning and had to go buy it today. My daughter's a little young for it (7 months) but her 2 year old friends loved the music. It's a children's CD I like and do not find annoying (such as those by that purple creature). The book is well done. There is a page for each of the songs with an illustration. There is also sheet music and lyrics for each song in the back of the book. I'm sure we'll cherish this one for years to come!

Summary: This is no glorble snop!
Review: What a wonderful gift we received for our one-year old ... "Philadelphia Chickens" is fantastic! Presented as an "Imaginary Musical Revue," this book and accompanying CD are wonderfully written, illustrated and "directed" by Sandra Boynton. I assure you, I am going to look for everything else she has done. Our son loves the high-energy songs, while my wife and I are halfway to learning all of the lyrics ... our favorites so far (yes, all of them, but standouts include) "Busybusybusy" by Kevin Kline; "Nobody Understands me" by the marvelous (and queckery bifflicious) Meryl Streep; and "Faraway Cookies" is adorably sweet ... You can see kids really being able to relate to these songs. They are very well written, and the music, in most cases, is just as fun as the lyrics. In the short time that we have had this, it has won over the main spot on our playlists. As the cover says, it's fun "for all ages (except 43)".

Summary: This one deserves 10 stars!
Review: This is by far the best music CD for children that we have! We use CD's in the car frequently as we take long trips to vist relatives (7 hrs. plus). There are no boring lullabys here, or music that will zone you out while driving! It is such a fun CD - parents will find themselves singing along, and (I admit it) may even play it with no kids in the car! Toe tapping, car dancing fun!

Review: We discovered this at our public library. After we listened to it just once, I immediately got online so we could have our own copy. We listen to it in the car often. The kids (ages 2 and 6) love it. You gotta get one! We recommend it.

Summary: Serendipity at work!
Review: My wife ordered this marvellous piece of work purely in error when she clicked on the wrong item. After it arrived, I started to look at it before returning it. Well- I have not laughed so much in a very long time. I grabbed my headphones and put in the CD so as not to bother her-she was concentrating on another project. Needless to say, my absolute delight was evident and she came over to see what I was roaring over. She too found it absolutely fantastic. She took it to school (teacher, y'know) and played it for the kids. We have ordered another copy for our grandson, and have told all we know that this is not to be missed. Buy it!! You will not be disappointed! What a great find!

Summary: I Love Snuggle Puppy
Review: Its hard to find good music that is good for kids,too. This is a great answer for those of you who are tierd of hearing yet another rendition of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". Their songs are original and fun. The artists are people that we, as adults, would know so it's fun for us ,too. I am slowly trying to collect all the board books that are available for the songs. I'm waiting for the musical review to start touring. My one year old daughter loves the songs and dances to them. Get "Rhinocerous Tap" if you can.
