Summary: She really knows what she's talking about...
Review: Elizabeth Castro knows her HTML & (even more important) can relay her extensive knowledge into layman terms that don't fustrate or put the reader to sleep! An excellent book for beginners to intermediate. I look forward to reading/using Elizabeth's other books.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A great helper for beginning and advanced HTML users.
Review: This book is easy to use, easy to understand, and easy to follow. Step-by-step instructions for the newest version of HTML, and even has a huge section on style sheets. Easy reading and very helpful in creating my web pages.

Summary: Best book I've seen as a primer and reference on HTML
Review: Elizabeth's book is great for those new to HTML, and great to refresh the memory when updating a web site. It's thorough, very well-organized and readable. Other pluses are the handy size--just 250 pages--and attractive price--$18. I needed to hit the ground running with HTML, and this book let me do it quickly and effectively.

Summary: I'm a webmaster, thanks to Elizabeth Castro!
Review: I bought her first book "HTML 3.2 For The World Wide Web" and was able to create the whole web site for my organization Skynet Internet Collective, using only that book. Castro's new Book is very easy to understand and I'm confident that she will win many awards for her extraordinary work for the World Wide Web. I'm nominating her for the Internet'99 Woman of the Year.

Summary: The simplest, easiest, best book for anyone
Review: This is the best book ever written on html. Anyone can learn html in less than a half an hour with this book, and it serves as the perfect reference. The indexes and appendixes at the back of the book help whether you're looking something up by its tag or whatnot. This book requires no knowledge of anything, it even tells you how to make the images for your website! Definitely buy this, its worth it.

Review: Elizabeth Castro's book, HTML for the World Wide Web, is extremely good. I originally picked it up just to "clean up" my HTML, but she taught me some things I never knew. Its extremely well written, easy to follow, and has information for the beginner and advanced alike. Great book.

Summary: One of top HTML references available!
Review: From the novice to the advanced user, this book is a great resource for HTML code. Castro eliminates the problems caused by "techie" language by not using any. The examples are easy to understand and implement. Don't leave home with out this book!

Summary: Good book for beginners--Intermediates will want more.
Review: Overall a very good book for beginners (no HTML authoring experience at all). You can have a web page up and running in half an hour with this book. Plenty of advanced stuff for beginners, however anyone with a little HTML experience will want one of the "dictionaries" because this book was not designed to go into that depth.

Summary: Well Done!!!
Review: I don't know what the person from NJ, Feb 98 is talking about. This is a wonderful, easy to understand book that is very to the point. This books cuts to the chase. No long chatter, just how to facts. I enjoyed and highly recommend this book. P.S. NJ Feb 98, if you can't understand Frontpage 98, maybe computers is just not your thing.

Summary: This book TOTALLY ROCKS.
Review: I'm THRILLED with the ease-of-use from this book. Very intuitively arranged. I have tons of sticky-notes all over this book, and I refer to it constantly. Elizabeth Castro is THE BEST webmistress. She should sell it in a two-pack because I'm sure I'm going to wear the first one out. I'm also buying the java-cgi scripting book she wrote. Bravo, Elizabeth! and THANK YOU!
