Review: I am continually amazed that the "business" of music tells its "artists" to act a certain way to make them a success when all it does is make them someone they are not...I was so moved by Donny's honesty and integrity in being open about his pain...when will the "big guys" learn..most fans dont want the glitz..most want the artist to be "Real"...it makes them more human and THAT is what is appealing! Yea Donny! You were great! Awesome reading!

Review: A wonderful eye opening book. I am amazed on how Donny kept all this a secret I guess you could say, as I had no knowledge of a problem in his life. I just thought he had acheived his fame and fortune and moved onto other pastures. I assummed he was having some quiet time and staying low key to raise his family with his wife Debbie,I'm so glad she was there for him and for that I respect her too. We love you Donny, stay strong.

Review: A terrific book, by a great guy and a good friend. However, in his discussions of the new show, "Donny & Marie," there's mysteriously no mention of the guy doing the great teleprompter work on the show! Even despite such a glaring oversight, it's still a great book. Donny, give me a call, I'm back from the hospital! Love ya!

Review: Donny Osmond was my first teen idol, when I was a mere 13 year old over 23 years ago. I stayed in touched with his career off and on since then. This book really opened my eyes to the real Donny. I laughed and cried reading this book. I couldn't put it down. It took me 2 days to read it. Sadly, I somewhat neglected my poor husband and children.They knew I was so engrossed in the book. But they understood.. ;-) I'm planning to read it again. IT"S SO GREAT!! I LOVED IT!!! If you are a fan of his or any of the Osmonds, this is a MUST READ. Even if you aren't a fan, I'm sure you will enjoy this revelating and touching autobiography. THANK YOU DONNY!!!

Review: I just finished reading the book "Life Is just What You Make It" and what a startling discovery I had. Yes, I have been a fan of Donny's for over thirty years but I didn't relize what he was going through all these years. This book is great for all Donny fans and the non-fans as well as you will see a different side of Donny. He is definately not the Donny everyone thinks they know! After reading this book it makes you think about the past and the future and a more mature Donny not just the entertainer but the real man behind the scenes.

Review: I just finished Donny's book and I must say a lot of it surprised me. He was honest about his life and how it affected him. I think he really relayed the feelings that go with a social phobia very well. He stands up for what he believes in and is not ashamed to say it. Growing up and being a fan you thought Wow what a life that kid must have! But little did we know what affect it had on him and even he didn't realize it till later in his life. I couldn't put this book down. He did a wonderful job in sharing his life with anyone who reads this book. It is definitely worth the read. I highly recomend it.

Review: I read the book in 2 sittings late into the night. I was surprised at how little stories throughout the book climax at the end into Donny's rules for life. I was crying and deeply moved by some of the obstacles he has had to overcome. He has been quoted recently as saying "it was worth reliving all the joy and pain of the last 41 years" I agree. I admire the honesty and courage it must have taken to write this book.

Review: I started this book knowing very little about this man and I was immediately touched by Mr Osmonds' story. I began with the usual presumptions that most of us have about Donny and the Osmond's but his tale tells the reader that his life wasn't all the fairytale we'd been led to believe it to have been.

Summary: A Wonderful Heartfelt Book
Review: I have have always been a Donny Osmond fan as far back as I can remember. So when I found out he had written this book, I had to buy it. As the other reviews said you cannot put this book down once you pick it up. I can't believe how awful people treated Donny. I always knew I respected Donny cause he Stood for Jesus Christ. He always stood on that solid rock of his salvation. I really admire someone that can hold on to what they believe and go through what Donny did , sort of reminds me of Stephen in the Bible. So hang in there Donny you are doing a wonderful job and believe me you will get your rewards in heaven.
