Review: I just finished reading the book and I really didn't know alot about Donny, I found him just an honest guy making a living for his family and wanting to be good at it! Donny, don't ever let anyone tell you that you are not a worthwhile person because me and the world knows now, through your book, that you are a truly awesome person. Thanks for a great book and from one LDS to another, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR WONDERFUL LOVING FAMILY!!!!!My favorite part in the book is when you said "Find the good things in people vs pointing out what they did wrong! Summary: Interesting but somewhat disappointing.
Review: Being a major Osmond fan throughout my younger teen years, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. The "real" story about the "real" Donny Osmond sounded intriguing and something an old faithful fan would want to read. Yes, there were some very interesting stories and things I never realized or heard of, but I still felt it was a little too sugar-coated. He only touched the surface on the facts that most people would want to read about, i.e. his relationship with his parents or with his brothers. I was shocked that he and his brothers aren't and never really were all that close. What an illusion that turned out to be. Or that his family lost their fortune. A lot more detail was needed. The poor guy never even got a chance to verbalize himself. I wasn't looking for a dirty little tell-all book, because that certainly isn't the Osmond style, but just skimming the surface left the reader wanting more - I felt a lot more. The book was good, I'm glad I read it, but when I finished it, I was left wanting more.

Summary: Great book written with honesty!
Review: This book is totally entertaining. I appreciate Donny's honesty and humor. I saw Donny in Las Vegas (he even kissed me) and I thought he was great then and still is now. I respect his love for religion and his faith and his family values. I think he is talented and now gained another talent of being able to write a great book. I truly enjoyed this book, I read it in two day! I had a smile on my face for two days as well. Good story!!!

Summary: Thank You Donny for Talking about Panic Attacks!!!
Review: I used to watch the Donny and Marie show in the 70's and now I love the new Donny and Marie show! I'm so glad to have respectable people to look up to, there are so few left! I am 32 years old and have had Panic Attacks since I was 20. Thank you so much, Donny, for talking about Panic Disorder! This is the most common mental illness and yet people are so afraid to admit they have it. I am so grateful to get the word out that it does not mean you're crazy if you have panic attacks and people need to understand what they are. If Donny can have them, Anyone CAN!!! They are treatable. GO DONNY!

Summary: Donny is all over the world
Review: I used to enjoy watching the old Donny & Marie show in the 1970s in my home town, Iran. However on a recent visit, I was surprised to see an ad for his book at a bookstore in Tehran. I went in and the clerk said that he orders it through the net. Apparently Donny still is a popular star in Iran where time has frozen in 1979 (year of the Revolution).

Summary: No Wonder This Book Is A Top Seller!
Review: So Donny Osmond is just like the rest of us, after all! Who knew?! It took a lot of swallowing of pride for Donny to spill his guts in this book. It is a fast, easy read, and VERY entertaining, (even if he wasn't your first love or the only boy who always smiled at you every time you looked at him). I was deeply touched over the incredible amount of love he expresses for his wife throughout the chapters; this seems to be one area where Donny really IS above average!!!

Summary: I'm a fan all over again!
Review: I bought this book after my mother cleaned out my room and sent me all the albums I have ever owned. Among the 30 or so were at least 10 albums by Donny, his brothers and sister Marie. In an age when stars are being picked up for drugs and arrested for assault, I feel honored to have grown up with such a wholesome family of performers. My only regret is that I lost touch with Donny over the years. Time to catch back up! I found this book fascinating and uplifting, not to mention, funny and truthful.

Summary: I loved the book. I find Donny as a mentor in my life.
Review: I was a fan since I was 8 years old. He was 16. I thought he was the greatest then and the greatest now. I grew up with his music and his family. I learned alot about myself through Donny. I believe in him and his talent.I think he has lot to offer in his music. It's ashame that no one would give him a chance to show what he has to offer, I know I would of. To me he was the best role model while I was growing up,He still is.

Review: I was not aware of all the hardships Donny Osmond had to face - simply by being an honest, caring, sensitive person in a family that had decent morals! It makes me so ashamed to think of how he and his family were treated - I was never a huge Donny Osmond fan - due to my young age - but after reading his book, I have joined millions in admiring him - I was also fortunate to see him as Joseph twice in Minneapolis - love that play and am seeing it again with my family in September - my only regret is Donny will not be playing Joseph - but I listen to the CD all the time - Thank you, Donny, for not turning your back on people that turned their back on you!

Summary: Quite An Enjoyable Book
Review: Before I read this book, I can say that I barely knew anything about Donny Osmond or his family. I vaguely remember seeing the Donnie and Marie Show during the late 70s, when I was in grade school. His story is very interesting, and I can relate to some of the problems he's had in the past. This is a very positive autobiography that anybody should be able to read and gain insight from. Recommended.
