Summary: Moral to the story
Review: You may feel, at times, like certain parts are "guilty pleasures" while reading THE GREAT PRETENDER. It certainly oozes with sexuality and the thrill of forbidden fruit. Having said that, this engaging novel has a lot more to offer. The moral to the story is profound and I was seduced by the plot and lured into every single page.

Summary: Shocked!
Review: First off, I became so engrossed in the story that I did not put the book down until I finished. The story line is great and the unexpected twists left me slack-jawed and speechless. I very rarely lend out books but this is one that I am insisting all my friends read...male and female alike..if you love steam & juice in your books (and I certainly do) you will totally lose yourself in "The Great Pretender".

Summary: Totally Outstanding*
Review: Totally outstanding and easy reading. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, one of the best plots I've read this year. I felt as if I knew the characters in the book and was right in the thick of the plot with them, and I really admire the author's writing which was smooth and straight to the point. This book was good and I highly recommend it to everyone to read. Outstanding!

Summary: This one got me hooked - keeps moving, exciting storyline
Review: The characters were great they fit perfectly in the story and they make you want to reach in and talk to them! There is a lot of action, and once you start you just can't stop.

This is a captivating, suspenseful, steamy story. I generally don't like "dramatic" Jackie Collins-type novels, but The Great Pretender had so many twists, turns and unexpected surprises intertwined. I was sad to come to the end, especially with that ending! This book kept me thinking about the characters even after I'd finished....trying to imagine how the story would continue. TERRIFIC read!

Summary: A++++
Review: This book was a fast and excellent read. Millenia's writing style and plot development style is addicting. I felt for Reginald, Tracy and Renee and kept reading to find out what woman would end up with Reginald in the end. The story was great and kept me thoroughly entertained. I can't wait to read the next book. If this new author keeps writing, I will surely keep reading.

Summary: Hoping there is a sequel...
Review: Reginald Brooks is a big shot gentleman that is living a dream life. He has a great job at Hart-Roman with a boss that is also a close friend, his best friend has been with him for all of his adult life, he's been married to his childhood sweetheart for almost two decades and they have two beautiful, well-adjusted daughters. However, this was not enough for Reginald. While traveling to Orlando to oversee another division of Hart-Roman's advertising ventures, Reginald meets and takes up with Renee Jameson. They have a young daughter together, Denise.

This begins the split of Reginald's life.

He orchestrates it so traveling to and fro is intertwined with his work for Hart-Roman and as the intringing prologue conveys, for six years, "All was well in Miami." and "All was well in Orlando."

THE GREAT PRETENDER was a fascinating read. The transitions from one scene to the next was quick and fluid and caused me to fly threw the story. Though I am very tempted to give away the ending of this tumultuous plot, I won't. I can only say that the author did such an exciting job of having the ramifications creep up on me that my mouth literally fell open and then I said, "Well, it figures." because it made perfect sense. Why didn't I see it coming? Needless to say, it was an ending I shant soon forget.

Once I reached the end of this story, I do have but one serious complaint of THE GREAT PRETENDER: I have not seen or heard anything about a sequel.

Summary: Hot and Steamy!
Review: This is a wild ride with great sex scenes that I must admit I read several times over again! The moral to the story still comes through, though, that there is a price to be paid for careless and selfish behavior for men when they decide to cheat on their wives.

The family members each had a voice and a stake in the lie they didn't even know they were a part of. I lost sleep for needing to know how they would all overcome some of their plights.

Summary: Movie Material -- I Loved It!
Review: I loved this book VERY much. Mr. Brooks is in a bind because of the choice he made 6 years ago to set up housekeeping with a pregnant mistress in another city without telling his wife. When he decides it's time to put an end to the lies, the events that unfold with everyone involved are stunning and make the story hard to turn away from. The subplots added in make for spectacular entertaining.

I have recommended The Great Pretender to several friends and schoolmates at my college. This story grabs a hold of its reader and doesn't let go until the shocking end. I swear it reads just like a movie you'd be watching - I pictured the characters clear as daylight.

It was so exciting reading this book. It has been a long time since I read anything so gripping.

Summary: FANTASTIC BOOK
Review: I was completely drawn in by the first page of this well-paced and entertaining book. All the people evolved from start to finish and arrived at a cresendo of reality that one can't hold back from reading.

As an aside, I'm now endeavouring to only let my husband travel when I can accompany him!

Summary: A fast-paced, stimulating read
Review: I heard about and became interested in this book when several of my online reading freinds were mentioning it and I now see why it has made such an impact on them...not only is it gripping, and a real page-turner, but it also held a useful message for unfaithful men. Married men have a very big responsibility, it is important that they choose to honor their wives and family instead of play deadly games. It is obvious that Reginald Brooks, played games too long and two wonderful women were hurt and their families torn apart. Take note all married men.
