Summary: An exceptional read!
Review: Wally Lamb is truly one of America's best authors. His writing is engrossing and riveting. "I Know this Much...." is one of the best I've read in years.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Even better than his last.
Review: There was always something going on in this book that kept my interest. This book kept me guessing and kept throwing me punches. This book was even better than his last, which I also gave 5 stars. Can't wait for his next one.

Summary: Wonderful
Review: I have a friend who has twin boys and they are not to this extreme however they are opposites. I found this book very entertaining. Yes it was a long one but it was good. It was a good summer reading book.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Trendy, overated
Review: I picked up this book, expecting to enjoy it as much as I enjoyed "She's Come Undone". This story reads like too many "Jerry Springer" or "Oprah Winfrey" shows. Enough about child abuse. I could not even finish it, I was so bored by it.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: 900 pages that fly by
Review: i did enjoy this book, and though it was a long one, it captured my attention fully....900 pages isnt long if its good ::smile.... i found the grandfathers writings to be a bore however...and was glad when i finished that part of the book. the next two chapters were really good...but as i've read here, the ending was a bit much. all's well with the world... love, family, friendships~basically everyone you know has a happy ending in 7 pages?? seemed rushed and not very realistic. all in all, worth the time ::Smile

Summary: WOW!
Review: I read a lot of books of many subjects and types, but this is definitely one of the best books I have ever read. I love the way Wally Lamb writes like he's talking to the reader personally. Such "real" comments from the characters make it seem so life-like. He writes the way I think sometimes. I can't wait until his next story! Keep them coming Mr. Lamb, and don't change a thing!

Summary: A must read for anyone!!
Review: I'm 18 years old and this was one of the best books I have ever read. It only took me two weeks to read, I couldn't put it down! I was hooked from the first chapter until the last.

Summary: This is the best book I've read is a very long time.
Review: This is not usually my type of book, but after reading the great reviews and customer comments I just couldn't wait to read it - and I wasn't disappointed. This book had me crying in a few places. I really enjoyed Domenico's life history - I thought it added a great touch. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes a good story. Don't let the length of the book stop you from reading it. I thought it would take me a month to read it, but I finished it in one week and was sorry to see it end. Can't wait to read Wally Lamb's previous book "She's Come Undone". I just purchased it today.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: This is a well written, long book and depressing at times
Review: Wally Lamb seems to bring you right in the story. The story is about twin boys and their lives. It shows just how different people are, even when they are born just minutes apart.

This is book is very well written, but it is very long and it really is depressing at times. The characters come alive and I am not sure which character you feel you want to be or you feel more sorry for...Grandpa's story is the best part for me. Enjoy!

Summary: A deeply moving novel that was impossible to put down
Review: I Know This Much is True: three days ago, I finished this wonderful book. It lies on a table in my living room. As I pass by it, I've found myself reaching out to touch the book, laying my hands on it as if to keep the characters within from escaping!

This book touched me as no other has in many, many years. I know all of these people and I love them. From start to finish, I was mesmerized. To join them and live their lives with them was like standing on a mountain and having a "panoramic view" of who they were, why they did the things that they did and then coming into my own revelation of understanding and forgiveness. My view of people is much more sympathetic. I think, for the most part, that each of us does the best we can do in this life and along the way we make many mistakes. Forgiveness is the key word here.

When I came to the end of this lovely book, I was crying. From sadness that it was ending? Yes. More than that. From joy that Dominick had taken the challenge, completed the journey and changed his life, and through forgiveness and love, found peace. I felt at peace as well.

Thank you, Wally Lamb!
