Summary: One of the best books I've read!
Review: I have read She's Come Undone and enjoyed it but I Know This Much is True is one of my favorites of all time. The way he helps us to understand the lead character is amazing.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Book to Feed the Soul
Review: Promises, humility, forgiveness... Dominic showed us that we can be both be extremes that you can be giving but sometimes selfish, gentle but sometimes arrogant, feisty and yet vulnerable. He struggled to find peace and to measure up against his own expectations. A close to 1,000 pages novel is worth reading because it will make you laugh, angry and cry. And most of all, it will, at least for me, make you examine other people's kindness.

Summary: Everybody will see pieces of themselves in these characters.
Review: I was quite intimidated by the length of this book at first. In fact the first quarter of the book, I felt that it would be a chore to read about someone who was so bitter and unlikeable. BUT, it picked up after that, and I found myself looking for more of the story as I turned the last page. This book is truly a story of taking responsibility for yourself and your future--not using your past as reasons for your failures today.

Summary: I found myself reading it in the car at stop lights!
Review: I found myself in a dry spell for several months, then I read I know this much is true. I couldn't put it down. Characters you could care about, trials, tribulation and then redemption. It took you on a jouney you did know how or where it would end. Thanks for a great trip.

Summary: Wow, Wally you are doing it again!
Review: Wally Lamb is a multi-faceted fiction writer, his writing is clear, thrilling. I have read half of this book, which carries with it for me a lot of love and hate. I am a parent of identical twin sons....wow, Wally, you sure know a lot about twins, life in general....

Summary: Amazing Book
Review: When I first picked up the book, the weight of the pages was very intimidating. I never thought I would be able to read a 900 page book. I ended up reading it in two weeks - I couldn't put it down. I must admit that the ending was probably the weakest part of the story, but the rest of the book was very powerful. All in all, I would highly recommended it to all.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: If you forgive the convenient ending, it's a masterpiece.
Review: Mr. Lamb has created a work that keeps the reader eager for the developing story, and at the same time makes the reader stop and think about life and the choices we make - who we are at the core of our being - why we treat certain people better than others - why we as humans have the innate inability to figure out why certain things bother us so much that we can't function. The struggle of the main character is somehow familiar, despite his ridiculously unique situations. The "story within a story" was entertaining in its own right and even though it revealed the main character's history to him, it also told the reader much about the main character himself. I know this much is true: I will, at some point before I die, read this book again. It's that good.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Didn't want to put it down.
Review: Didn't want it too end, got tired of reading the Grandfather's history, & was sad when it the whole story did end. I know people who have gone through difficult times in their lives & was able to become stronger because of it once they dealt with the horrible things of there past. It's probably more true to life then people realize!
