Summary: Summer Sisters-Summer Reading
Review: This book is a wonderful book about the friendship between two girls, Caitlin and Vix. The book had a lot of sex and other related actions in it but besides that i think that everyone should read it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great, One of My All-Time Favorite Books!
Review: This book held my attention from page one. I think it took me just over two days to finish it. I felt like I could relate to both characters, and I really like the way the prose flowed. A great book, any teenage girl or woman would appreciate it.

Summary: A wonderful read !!!!!
Review: I'm not much for "girlie books" but this is a book that suprised me. The certain twist to the book will keep you locked. It will take you only two days if not hours to read this book. Its a book you should treat yourself too. Judy Blume writes beautifully.

Summary: Judy Blume Isn't Just For Little Kids Anymore
Review: This book was the greatest book I've ever read and I've been reading Judy Blume since I was eight. This book follows two girls through their whole life and explains the meaning of true friendship. I laughed and cried at this book...I recomend it to every girl in the world.

Summary: Why does everyone like this book????
Review: I was looking for a quick, easy, entertaining read for the beach-- I couldn't wait for this book to end! It feels like I picked up one of those books I used to read when I was 10-- like the Baby-Sitter's Club. No characters were interesting or likable, the plot was boring; why is this marketed as an adult book? Especially as the characters get older, the book gets unbearably boring-- I definitely skimmed over Vix's conversations with her roommates at Harvard. The ending was just ridiculous.

Summary: It served it's purpose but...
Review: Although I finished the book in two days, it didn't do it for me in terms of content. I really wanted to know what happened next but it wasn't challenging at all. The book in itself was teenager like. If Judy Blume was trying to target adults, she didn't do it with this book!!! I would really recommend this book to teenagers more than adults, although she talks about sex a bit too much.

Summary: WARNING - Reading this book may induce vomiting
Review: Summer Sisters is a poorly written novel, a waste of time, and an insult to one's intelligence. After getting through half the book, I felt I had to finish it, but the last 50 pages made me regret my decision. The ending is erratic, rushed, and illogical - what a mess! That's the last Judy Blume book I ever read.

Summary: The perfect summer read...
Review: Its nice to take a break from taxing analysis and intellectualism to truly savour a story of summer friendship. (Haven't we all had summer encounters of some sort?) This was light, quick and yet, complex and unpredictable. Certainly, it is not as thick and textured as a Binchey or Pilcher, but it did leave me wanting more or wondering if is there a chance for a sequel?

Summary: I loved Summer Sisters.
Review: I really only wanted something to read going back & forth to work everyday. One night I just couldn't wait till the next day to read this book. I read practically the whole book in one night, I just couldn't put it down. Vix & Caitlin experienced summers that girls dream about. I personally thought the book was great. The only disappointment to me was that it ended. Hope Judy has a sequel coming soon, a good pitch might be to do it from Caitlin's point of view.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Great Summer Read!
Review: I just loved this book! I could not put it down. I can't remember the last time I read a book so quickly. After I finished reading it, I could not stop thinking about the characters. This book allows adults to reflect on their childhoods. I was suprised by the number of adult reviewers who actually suggested that this book would be appropriate for young teens. If I had a young teen, I certainly would not let her read this. I think that it's a great book to be enjoyed by adults.
