Review: This book had a good message, however it took me as awhile to finish. It was boring. It talked about phone calls, stalking and harassing. It was a very slow read. If you want to read something by this author read HONEYWELL! Jumps off from the prolugue!

Review: What a book. SHADES OF JADE is a very realistic novel about Marissa, a successful woman who has everything she could possibly dream of. She is the type who likes to mess with other women's men. Her best friend Charmaine always beats her over the head, every so ofter warning her that "one of these days, you're going to mess with the WRONG woman's man".
Charmaine even tries to hook Marissa up with her fiance's friend Levi, an absolute sweetheart who falls for Marissa, despite her contemptuous attitude towards him.
Marissa begins receiving crank calls that quickly turn into threats towards her life, and before we know it we're caught up in a story that rapidly turns into a thriller. Boy was Charmaine right! But it may be too late.
I found myself trying to turn the pages so fast that I was literally skipping over words.
There were many parts of the book scared me, because I know that this could happen to ANYONE who acts without thinking about the lives they may ruin. The end was such a SHOCK!!!!!!!!!!!

To the women out there like Marissa: Read SHADES OF JADE and TRUST, you will think twice before messing with someone else's man.

Review: I could not put the book down..I stayed up all night to read this book. It was worth every waking hour. The author knows how to entertain and keep one interested in her characters.
Ms. Mallette is living her dream. This book should be her first movie and Denzel Washington playing the handyman

Summary: Love the Suspense
Review: This was another book that I had on my shelf for a while but I read it last week and it took me two days to read it. I love it and I wish I had read it sooner. Marissa had a lot of soul searching to do as to why she did what she did with these married man even though she refuse to listen to hear best friend Charmaine and a few others. But love always seems to be right underneath your nose without knowledge.
This book has a lot of drama which makes you refuse to book the book down. Readers you'll love this one. First book that I have read from Gloria Mallette.
