Rating: Summary: A STRONG CASE FOR THE PROSECUTION Review: Love her or hate her, it is hard to be neutral about the Junior Senator from New York. The late Mrs Olson was clearly not among those who loved her. While one can only commend her honesty in not even pretending to be objective, it does detract from the authority of a book that ought to be widely read. A biographer should not allow her opinion of her subject's political position to influence her opinion of her subject herself. Having said that, Mrs Olson still presents a very strong case for Mrs Clinton to answer in a fascinating book that makes compelling reading. Even those who do not share Mrs Olson's beliefs should be concerned about Mrs Clinton's connections with some very dubious left wing "radicals" and the openly corrupt Arkansas business establishment. If any good can come of Mrs Olson's tragic death, it is that more attention may now be given to the questions that are posed in this book, and the upcoming sequel on the Clintons' final days, so that the Clintons at last feel obliged to answer without evasion.
Rating: Summary: "Hell to Pay" -One Person's Opinion Review: I found this book very interesting from beginning to end. Hillary's upbringing and early introduction to politics seemed unusually unobjective as it was based on researched facts instead of the author's opinions. I now understand where her strength, perserverance and will to "win at any cost" and "take-no-prisoners" attitudes comes from. Right or wrong, she's an exceptionally strong-willed woman who does believe the end justifies the means. The book takes you back to her early influential contacts with people who do not believe in the prosperity and responsibility of the individual but for the common good. Whatever that means to the reader is the reader's perspective of our U.S. Constitution. This book reconfirms the strength of a woman to be politically reckoned with.

Rating: Summary: Story of Hillary Rodham Clinton Review: I read this book. I loved it. I was struck at how much Barbara Olson used concrete examples and didn't rely on heresay, as is the case with most unauthorized biographies.
.... I agree. There's a background sadness about Hillary exposed in this book that I hadn't thought of before:imagine having to displace your genuine anger at a mate like Bill Clinton onto substitute males like Newt Gingrinch and Ken Starr. For such an intellectually trained mind such as Hillary's surely she must suffer from cognitive dissonance most of the time! The untold story in the book is how the constitutional limits on power of any one individual in our government(not least an unelected First Lady)are thwarted at every turn. Perhaps Hillary was the "fall guy" for Bill in the failed health care reform fiasco? She was blamed and not he.....not a bad outcome for HIM! Read this book for the historical chronology if nothing else.
Rating: Summary: Hell To Pay by Barbara Olson Review: An outstanding book, professionally researched and written. An honest expose of the chameleon-like ex-First Lady, and current Senator from New York. Ms. Olson shows how Hillary Clinton has managed to pull the wool over the eyes of the electorate, using the most immoral, make that ammoral, subterfuge imaginable. If you thought that Willie was slick, you ain't seen nothing yet. This book should be read by EVERY American before it is too late. One Shocked Reader.
Rating: Summary: President Hillary: I Hope Not! Review: Ms. Olson's book is both an eye-opener and more of the same. I loved the Alinsky quotes, which were a nice link to the spirit of the '60s. By now, though, those of us who deplore both Clintons are not surprised by any new information which supports the conclusions we've drawn about Bill and Hill since they were imposed upon us by an unsuspecting and gullible electorate. But there's lots of good stuff in this book. Let's hope it becomes widely read along with Janet Scott Barlow's The Nonpatriotic President: A Survey of the Clinton Years, which has a complementary set of Hillary insights. While Bill is simply self-absorbed and selfish, Hillary has the makings of a genuine totalitarian.
Rating: Summary: Hell to Pay Review: This thorough and detailed biography of Hillary Rodham Clinton should shake Americans up enough to realize why this potentially dangerous woman should never be elected to the Presidency.
Rating: Summary: Better look twice Review: Pardongate: Even the leftist press does not believe Hillary. As of March 4th 2001, 78% of the reviews are Pro-Olsen view point, 22% of the reviews were not reviews but personal attacks on Olson. The fact that the One Star reviews were nothing more then the same old leftist scorched earth technique used on anyone that threaten the Klinton regime. The review usefulness ranking ,10% or less, reflects the total lack of any useful content in all the One Star Reviews while the Pro-Olsen reviews all were ranked 90% or greater, for those that have complained about the photograph used on the books cover, check out Hillary's new look as a Senator...
Rating: Summary: Classy Review: With a fine book like this sitting on my coffe table, I can't tell you all the compliments I've received! Sophisticated, profound, erudite....just a sample of words I don't know. After reading this book I will judge all other books, as other books read either before or after reading this book. Ms. Olson's narrative powers rival Stephen King, and her reporting/political acumen is on level with any reporter of the Washington Times. As purchases go, I rate this only behind the Bedazler and Flo-Bee!
Rating: Summary: The Truth Hurts Review: This book is on target! It's a shame that people blindly follow the party line and never really step back to take a look at what they're talking about. It is also sad that a previously listed reviewer sank to the level of criticizing the author's physical appearance because of their ignorance. And the fact that the individual chose to remain anonymous. Oh well, I guess the book hit a nerve. Yes, the truth hurts! But it is the truth none the less. Everybody interested in politics should read this book at least to gain insight into the drive behind Hillary.
Rating: Summary: A No-No for New York! Review: I sincerely hope that New Yorkers and potential voters in the New York election in November will read this book. It will open their eyes to the fact that Hillery Cinnton does not have their enterests at heart and certainly does not belong in the Senate. Barbara Olson has done a good job in baring the real Hillery Clinton. Hillery Clinton has a lust for power but not to help New York.
