Summary: Excellent content, style could be better.
Review: Savage is brilliant. He's definately a street fighter which sometimes throws off the nice, decent people who want every conservative to be like Rush. His brand of conservatism might just save the country.That said - the content of this book is almost more social than political which makes it an interesting read. He's a very well educated man for whom conservatism is more than a political idea - it's a way of life. This man's intense style is not for everyone.

Review: I have had the chance to read exerpts from Michael Savage's newest book, and true to form, he does not mince words. I admire Mr. Savage for his courage to tell the American people the of the sheer importance of our borders, language, and culture, in a way that commands attention - whether you agree or not.

This message resonates with his over 6-Million-and-Growing weekly listeners along with the occasional 'sens-i-tive' liberal who can be 'tol-er-ant' of new ideas and won't get his 'feel-ings' hurt when confronted with the truth ' Liberalism is a disease affecting the security of our great Nation, and it must be stopped. 'Only a more savage nation can survive!' Heed these words, not the propaganda spoon-fed through the media by the left. Dr. Michael Savage, who earned a PhD from the University of California at Berkeley in Epidemiology and Nutrition Science, details his vision for America and much, much more in his 19th book, 'The Savage Nation: Saving America from the Liberal Assault on Our Borders, Language and Culture.' As those who have listened to Savage's nationally syndicated radio show - 'The Savage Nation' - can attest, Michael's unmatched radio style and natural wit entertains as well as educates a listener. Review: Dr. Savage is a brilliant man. The previous reviewer calls him "pseudo-intellectual" -- which is strange, because Savage has two Master's Degrees and a PhD -- and is, by far, the most intelligent of all the radio talkers. This book, like his radio program, cuts right to the bone. His precision insight, remarkable perspective and a true love of America make his thoughts on the current state of affairs in this country ring true with the reader--however politically incorrect the delivery may be. Comparing Savage to Limbaugh is silly. A comparison of football player Jerry Rice and tennis star Venus Williams would be more accurate. Both are professional radio hosts or athletes, but the differences in style are obvious in both instances. The mere fact that these difference exist does not provide compelling evidence that one or the other is inept at their craft. Savage has his weaknesses, but those vulnerabilities--and his willingness to take a chance on greatness, i.e., fly by the seat of his pants, shoot from the hip and "freestyle"--is what makes him special. Sometimes, on his radio show, five minutes of jibberish is followed by ten minutes of sheer brilliance, on the level of civilizations greatest thinkers. That's what happens when this guy just let's it all hang out. The line between absolute brilliance and complete insanity is razor thin, that's always been the case, and it's true with Savage. I cannot recommend the book and the show enough. Read it--and listen! ps-radio guys like bmw at sfo are just bitter and jealous, so take what they say with a grain of salt...after all...Savage is # 1 in liberal San Francisco. Envy is an ugly thing.

Summary: A Prophet Speaking His Mind Regardless Of Being Ridiculed!
Review: "Language, borders and culture" are one this authors favorite theme and I found the book as interesting as I find his Radio Talk Show. He exemplifies what being an American is all about without apology or fear of anyone? Being unafraid to speak your thoughts after you acquire an education that can support them against all made up ridicule. In the early days of the Bible, it was said G-d spoke to men and women when the need for social change was near to save mankind. We called then prophets for they were ahead of their time. The author does not claim to be hearing from G-d, but I tell you now he is speaking in tune with what many Americans need to learn to improve this nation and world. I especially enjoyed the authors descriptions of liberals who use hate to tear down people speaking their judgments, society in praise of our past and history that has made this nation and the world the finest on earth. Using the term, "Red Diaper Doper Babies," is no vice in the face of the facts that spring forth the truth. He harbors no hate towards anyone except those lying to advance their wayward cause. The book will make you think about our current failed policies. How they need to be changed to keep America radiance for the world to pursue, rather to change America to a world lost in its own corruption. Sometime when I am walking I turn him off the Radio, not because he is telling lies, but because he speaking the truth, and yet I see no chance of change. On other occasions I cannot wait to turn him on to learn about things the mainstream media ignores without logic and the truth. All in the name of fostering multi-culturists that in the end means accepting everything regardless if you find it wrong in your heart and heads. A great book you should buy for a friend by a prophet not just an author. All prophets speak and advocate change from a vision they acquire on their own. Sometimes like pioneers they end up with arrows in their backs. Michael Savage is one of these extraordinary people who take the arrows with his shield of knowledge and keeps on speaking, as is his book!

Summary: Save America From This Book
Review: Savage offers simplistic solutions to complex problems in a complex country. Like most other anti-liberal writers, Savage pines for a past which never really existed while shutting out a present which he can never keep up with. "Our Borders, Language and Culture"? America's borders include Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and American Samoa. The number of languages in the USA is 231 -- many of which have been spoken as long as (Cajun) or much longer than English (Hawaiian). American culture has hundreds of religions, hundreds of styles of music, millions of artists, millions of writers, and 288 million people who each have the freedom to see the culture in their own way. A culture which mostly only showed up in the past 400 years. Savage (Executive Director of the extremist Paul Revere Society) wants the borders closed, all languages but English eliminated, and selected elements of our culture (the ones he particularly likes) to be roped from the rest of the world and frozen in time somehow. America is great because it is a relatively new country which grows by filling itself with the wonders of all humanity. People like Savage who so irrationally resist change and diversity are, in reality, the ones truly assaulting us.

Review: Put down that book written by Michael Moore. The Savage Nation is a great book to read no matter if you are a Democrat or Republican or event an Indepent. He says a great radio show and now a terrific book. He keeps true to his key principles BORDERS LANGUAGE and CULTURE, read the book to find out what they mean. Trust me it is worth it to read the book

Review: I have been listening to Mike Savage Since 2000 Election. I didn't even know KSFO existed. I have had thoughts of our wonderful country being destroyed by the Left for a long time now and I have also been doing some research. I thought I was alone amoung the brainwashed Liberal left I have been dealing with day in and day out. I can't wait to hear Mike Savage when I get off of work and drive home -- he is my lifesaver and made me strong in defending the Original Intent of our US Constitution, Bill of Rights, etc. I have done so much reading since then that helped me know our History. His suggestions of the Verona Papers (purchased this book several months back), found out the term "Politically Incorrect" was used by Communist and they demonized the people who spoke against the Communist part, just like the Demo-communist-crats are doing now to all people who are Conservative, Christians, Republicans and/or anyone who opposes their policies. The Leftist-Communist under the guise of "Tolerance" and "Political Correctness" agenda is to take down America, The US Constitution, Bill of Rights, Christain Heritage, our crosses, prays, Christmas celebrations, and they want to impose their anti-freedom of speech, religion with the help of the ACLU. Mike Savage's book contents is what I have heard on his program and now I have it in words to refer back to. Thank you Mike Savage, you need to write another one....... He helps me to see I am not alone that I want my America back from the 10% or less minority of Leftist who have control of the Media, Schools and policies they have imposed on the Majority of Americans who don't want it. I am tired of the communist tactics used by the left who don't want to hear another view point and how we feel - when they don't like what they hear (because it is against their view point) they call it racist, or hate crime, etc. The hate crime and mean-spirited is really coming from the left, because they want to stop your freedom of speech because you don't agree with their's. Looking back at history, this sounds like, taste like, feels like COMMUNIST MAXIST TACTICS for demonizing opposing view points..... Also good books, "Liberal Lies", "Commies, new left, old left and left over left".

HE HAS LEARNED THE TRADE TO MAKE PEOPLE LAUGH ON HIS TALK SHOW BUT SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO WRITE A BOOK....OK M. SAVAGE YOU CAN HAVE YOUR 15 MINS OF FAME BUT PLESE STICK TO YOUR RADIO SHOW AND LEAVE THE WRITING TO INTELLEGENT PEOPLE...

Review: This book makes me laugh. It makes me think. I feel like I'm reading the Catcher in the Rye again. I can just picture him saying each and every one of the words in that book and some parts make me laugh to tears. Did I mention i'm only on the second chapter? AMAZING BOOK!
