Summary: An honest, entertaining and educational book
Review: A delightful excursion into reality. If your "knowledge" of today's world was obtained from the completely slanted and biased major media in the US, you may welcome Savage's different perspective. On the other hand, if you have been totally brainwashed by the major media and are no longer capable of thinking for yourself, you may have trouble with Savage's brutal honesty. Savage is an intelligent, opinionated, educated and honest man, all traits that are in short supply in the US media.Despite attempts by some to smear Savage by declaring him a right wing ideologue, Savage is in fact an independent who is far left on some issues. Read the book and judge for yourself.

Summary: Response to the oh-so-predictable review by Ryan Thompson
Review: My friends, don't listen to the useless words of Mr. Thompson above. Like any good liberal, Thompson slams the writing style of Savage's book and says it's not readable and that it's worse than coal in your Christmas stocking. As usual, these liberal arguements are based on subjective measures. Mr. Thompson can't refute any of Savage's objective evidence in the book. He knows that he and his socialist ilk are, as Savages so commonsensically lays out, taking this country down the road to hell. Mr. Thompson is probably a deviant communist who has no problem with condoms in school and high tax rates, but absolutely loathes Christians and decency. Here's some Christmas advice. Stay away from Mr. Thompson this Christmas season. Here's a man who knows not what America stands for and someone who would remake this great nation into a model of socialist stagnation. Keep on preaching the truth, Savage. Liberals like Ryan Thompson have no refutation other than "the book is written a bad style." They never let the facts get in the way of a good, emotional outburst.

Summary: Not trying to be Rush
Review: I'm not sure where the first reviewer of this book got the idea that Savage is trying to copy Rush. That would be the last thing Michael would do! Michael Savage is an independant-thinking conservative and criticizes Dems and Reps alike, where-as Rush wholeheartedly (and sometimes blindly) supports his party's agenda regardless... I haven't read the book yet - I just wanted to defend Savage from irresponsible reviews such as the one described herein...

Summary: A book for the compassionate conservative..
Review: Just finished reading the copy I received for christmas and I enjoyed it immensely. It's raw, humorous, and oh so true. If you enjoy Michael's show, it's a must have. Michael brings to the table something much of the media has been unable to do, and that is provide the truth about our nation and the world around us. To the guy above, I'd suggest listening to the show instead of thumbing through channels.

This book may be a little bit harsh for some, but I think a harsh dose of reality is what these people need. This book satisifies this!

Summary: Excellent, Intelligent and Well Written
Review: This book is a thoughtful presentation of the ideas that Michael has developed in his years in radio. Though not a "neo-conservative" in the classic sense; this conservative thinker has developed a coherent political philosophy. Although it is weak with regards to economic policy; Michael seems to recognize that political economy is, at its' core, an expression of sociological processes which he does seem to have a firm grasp on.
You can be absolutely sure that you will not see this book on store shelves anytime soon. Despite being a bestseller before being released this book goes against the Orwellian "Liberal" belief system.

Summary: VIVA LA SAVAGE NATION
Review: Be prepared for the left, who is supposedly all for free speech, to denounce Savage and this book as "hateful." Communist code word for: ban and destroy. Ignore them. If you are familiar with Savage's radio program (number 4 in the nation!) this book moves along at an equally fast pace and teaches you something new at every page turn. Savage is brilliant and on-fire! It is great to know we have a powerful voice like him out there fighting for America and conservative values. Amazing to think that it all started in the liberal den of it all...San Francisco. Go get 'em Savage! This book is guaranteed to be a best-seller.

Review: Savage delivers the truth as blunt as it comes. This book outlines what problems are currently facing us as a nation and exposes some of the biggest names in our government for what they are. Every page is filled with facts that many people never bother to research offering a great reference for debates and arguments. Truth exposing? Absolutely!

Review: This book is by far one of the most truthful books ever written about the world we live in today. It will upset you; it will push you into thinking about what he is saying? You will ask yourself "This cant be right, That's not what the Today Show or CNN says about the world." If anything this book will make you think about the world and realize that only a more Savage Nation can survive. This book will be a great read for anyone to enjoy.
