Rating: Summary: The commercialization of spirituality Review: Upon finishing this trite book I felt I had been had by yet another corporate motivational speaker. You know, the one that makes you feel good about your job until the next day after the warm and fuzzy feelings wear off and reality sets in your back to sending out resumes.
Rating: Summary: Simply brilliant and brilliantly simplistic! Review: What is the meaning of life? Where can one find the meaning of life? Richard Bach leads us to understand that life is what we make of it, and that meaning is found in all that is life. It is in the vastness of the universe and in our own backyards. It is not nearly as complicated as most of us have been brought to believe, yet it is much more complicated than scholars have tried to paint it to be. We are where we are supposed to be, and we will become who we are destined to be when we are ready to become it. All in good time. Richard Bach explains it all in this fascinating tale of truth that continues to mesmerize me after over 20 years! Worth every penny, this book is something to take to heart. But not too seriously!
Rating: Summary: I've read it over 20 times. Does that say anything??? Review: It reminds me of what is important in life. I CHOOSE to believe

You have come to a point in your life journey, spiritual journey, that you have magnetized this work, Illusions, to your soul. Rating: Summary: A Primer for Life Review: This timeless work is a classic and should be required reading - annually - perhaps on your birthday each year. It is a masters handbook with an answer for every problem, inspiration for every day and a guide for the soul.
Rating: Summary: Forever changed Review: I, like many others, came away from this book forever changed by it. However, what still stands out in my mind (after many readings and giving it out many times as gifts), is what a fun story it is to read. The book is never preachy; Mr. Bach succeeds in getting his point across by hooking you into a great story, with likeable characters and an interesting premise. The philosophies of life are presented in such a way as to cause you to care about how they affect the characters, and thus how they affect you. Because of this book, my perception of the world was completely altered, and that has stayed with me ever since (about 10 years now). No other book, fiction or non-fiction, has had that effect on me. Read this book, if only to enjoy a good story - but I guarantee you'll never be the same.
Rating: Summary: Provacative Review: I am merely a 16 year old girl, who lives in South Dakota. I am sort of exploring religion, as a whole, and looking into different ones, and I must say, This book speaks to all. I noticed some Buddhist principals lingering among the words of wisdom, which every sentance is overflowing with. To thoroughly understand this book, one would need to go thorough and find the symbolism hidden in each sentance. Thank-you Richard Bach; You have given my lungs new air to breathe and showed me that in a society that seems shockingly fast paced and crazy, there are people besides myself who like to stop and smell the dasies, and even ask, "why do dasies smell so great?"
Rating: Summary: Changed my life forever! Review: "Illusions" is a very unique yet, relevant way of looking at life. I'm glad I read at an early age so I can change the way I look at my life to come! I would recommend it to anyone who has the ability to read and learn...truly inspirational!
