Rating: Summary: one line doesn't sum it up Review: I'm a fourteen year old girl at a school with kids who don't ever think about more than their make-up. I am friends with all of them but no one stimulates my brain. Books like these are the answers... and I'm glad that they are there.
Rating: Summary: Thank you! Review: How can I thank you, Richard Bach, for writting down what happened in Illinois that summer? It's so wonderful, so perfect, just THANK YOU! Shimoda explained the things I-and I guess many others-had deep in our minds and weren't daring enough to put in words. He feels like as a closest friend, but the best fraze in the book is the one right before the epilogue. Thank you, Richard Bach! Thank You!
Rating: Summary: Pass it on Review: I have been re-reading this book for 20 years now. When I find someone whom I think would enjoy it, I buy a copy, read it and then give it to the person. I find new meaning in it whenever I read it - whatever is pertinent to my life at the time comes to the fore. I have given away many copies, and always learned more about love, life and myself in the process.
Rating: Summary: Lessons to live by! Review: I first read this book approximately 17yrs ago. Throughout my adult life I have often referred to it for guidance, on both good choices and tough ones. It truly works to hold a question in your mind, close your eyes, and turn to the first page that opens. I've led an amazing Life so far and intend to continue with the help of this book and others like it. Thank you RB for a wonderful tool!! When can we expect your next book?
Rating: Summary: If one book has changed the way I look @ life it is this one Review: Looking for a book to challenge the way you see yourself, others, and this world, then you have found the right book. Wonderful!
Rating: Summary: damn straight Review: Illusions is by far a classic book, which is no wonder a product of Richard Bach. i recommend this book to anybody who thinks, and likes to be amazed by thoughts. great great great.
Rating: Summary: The book that changed my life! Review: I originally read this book twenty years ago - it completely changed my life. I have based almost everything in my life on this book - and my life has been absolutely amazing. Thank you, Richard Bach, for having the guts to be conscious every day of your life!
Rating: Summary: Outstanding Review: I have been reading spiritual book for over 14 years now, I have to say that illusions has changed my life. It's the best book I have ever read. He has ways of sharing his knowledge to make every reader understand the facts of life..... I dearly recommend it, with lots of love Isa
Rating: Summary: I started it cuz of a friend; I finished it cuz I wanted to. Review: I don't like reading and I do not own this book. I was reading it on a bus trip and had a time limit because it belonged to someone else. All the ideas were complex and overwhelming and coming at me too fast to really comprehend and ponder and imagine. The book is a crazy blur and I think now: 'Did I read that? Or was it a dream?' Yes. I am 15. And I believe.
Rating: Summary: 15 years later I am looking for the book again. Review: I read this book when I was a teen, and it was very important then, now it seems that the concepts it deals with grow in importance these days. It is true that things start to "happen" when you are connected in the right way, and it is also true that you "stop" things from happening when you start lacking confidence. Even though it is not very deep, it certainly is the right stuff to start thinking about self-confidence.
