Review: today I bought the necronomicon spellbook,I looked up all sorts of information to see if it was safe to pratice.I am still not shure if it is safe to pratice.I am going to find someone experinced and have them teach me the right way,so that I will not conjer up evil deamons and get into deep trouble.

Summary: Interesting basic aproach
Review: This little book is an interesting basic aproach on the Necronomicon. The practices that concerned this book are simple and their magical bases are correct. Anyway they could be highlly empowered by other methods but, like this, they are simple and easy to do, becaming accessible to the average reader. Neverless the student can use them correctly if he has more knoledge then the one in the book. The visualiztion and the concentration are needed to make this practices work. I would recomend the reading of the Necronomicon before starting those practices.That way, one would know what was he dealing with. This book is what it is and have no intention to be anything more. So, it acheives it's goals. Of course the practice of the Necronomicon is much more than what is exposed in there, those simple practices aren't even referred in the Necronomicon. Anyway, they work, at least I'm testing them and the results are interesting untill now. Treat this book with respect and it can help you a lot. Specially if you have knoledge on the occult.

Review: The Necronomicon Spell Book is one of the greates spell books I own. The spells go into great detail and they worked for me. I will continue to use this book, for "That is not dead which can eternal lie, and through strange eons even death may die!"(Lovecraft)

Summary: A Real Powerful Book
Review: This book really works I have owned it for a week now and done a few spells most of them worked. The only one that didn't work yet maybe it will who knows. It is a good book for someone who knows what they are doing other good books are Modern Magick by: Donald Michael Kraig, Summoning Spirits by: Konstanios, and The Necronomicon by: Simon. This book is not a toy and is to be taken seriously. I would suggest not to use it for evil because you won't get to enjoy what you did and your family and friends will suffer. Summary: Be EXTREMELY careful when dealing in these realms
Review: I am an Occult Researcher and Magician and I have studied many of Simon's works and those parallel works of Lovecraft and I have known people who have ventured into the realms of the Elder Gods and who have met with catastrophe, but, I know that the answer to being safe is not in tampering with those gates but in doing the rituals correctly and accurately and also in learning how to protect oneself. An understanding of the fifty names as to who they are and their purposes are great but, you must also understand that they have their own agendas as well and are not to be trifled with lightly. They are extrememly powerful! The one thing that is not mentioned is the fact these entities, if summoned to your presence are first and foremost not easily disposed to being in your service. They will remember being so. The Sumerian Gods are very, very old, and can be very, very overwhelming. SO BE CAREFUL! Learn how to protect yourself first and foremost. I am not trying to be a wet blanket to you the seeker and your endeavors but, go into these "callings" PREPARED. Be sure to be focused and of a single purpose. If you are going through a crisis time in your life do not do them until you are clear-minded and in control. Emotional instability can work seriously against you. Above all else follow your instincts. Listen to your gut it is usually right and remember above all else to remain grounded.

Summary: interesting, even if it is a farce.
Review: I found the book to be well-written and informative, even if it is written on a fictional grimoire. The Necronomicon is a mockery of Magick at it's best and a worthless heap of partiallly digested tree fiber at worst. I would not recommend the Necronomicon for a student of magick or any books based on it. The Necronomicon is NOT the Sumerian religion. Although the writer of this (H.P. Lovecraft) was a deviously clever, superiorly ingenious and quite possibly the best horror/fantasy/sci-fi writer of the 19th and 20th centuries he was no Magickian and his knowledge of such magickal systems were extremely limited. This about invalidates the possibility of the necronomicon ever becoming a "True and Faithful Revelation of what passed between Abdul Alhazred and...Some Spirits" (Enochian Magickians will know what I am talking about <G> )
