Review: Need a pick me up and want a book that will leave you overjoyed? This is it!!!!! One of the first romances I had ever read, it turned me into a major romance reader! The story is amazing and the writing really makes you feel the love between the two characters-this one is for my private shelf, I don't loan it out! Duncan and Madelyne are characters with depth and emotion!

Review: This was the first Garwood book I read, and it remains, years later, one of my favorite romances. I especially enjoyed the humor used throughout the story, and the bemused Hero's amazement at finding his perfectly ordered life turned upside down by a guileless, artless girl. I have reread this many times, and enjoy it each and every time I visit Madeline and her hero.
