Review: As a new hypnotherapist I have read dozens and dozens of hypnotherapy books. None have had the perfect mix of theory and practicality that this book has. From explaining how and why rapid inductions work to laying out the nuances of a regression session, this book explains it all. Almost every page has helpful tips and ideas that Banyan and Kein have taken years to perfect. This book is a must have for all hypnotherapists.

Summary: Deceptive Title for this book
Review: As a professional I am very disappointed by the contents of this text as the title is very misleading.The suggestions and advice contained in the book is elementary not at all implied by the title.Much of the information is related to the experiences of the authorand that which works for him.It is also too generalized and not specific enough.The enclosures of taking a course or ordering hypnosis material from his institute gives the intent of writing this book,away.I am truly dismayed.There are far superior books on this subject to be had.

Review: Being a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Instructor and a student-in-perpituity, I have to tell others that in the 14 years I have been practicing I always look for ways to hone my skills while aquiring CEU's to continue my certifications.
THIS Book..."Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy" DOES give you Basics as well as Advanced Techniques that I have used all these years and several I found within these pages I am going to use!!!
A very well written and easy to use manual for the learned and the student!!...Great literary writing!!..I highly recommend this book to my colleagues and students!!

Review: Do not buy this book if you have any interest in learning about hypnosis or hypnotherapy. It basically only outlines how to run an office and deal with clients. It's great if you need to brush up on your common sense, but doesn't really work out for people who actually what to learn something.

Review: Excellent book. I have flown from Australia to US so that someone could teach me Dave Almans hypnosis techniques.I have seen preview of some video tapes of Gerald Keind in action and it seemed easy. It was one of the best things I have done. It was worth the trip and there was no misunderstanding of hypnosis once I was through the course. This book is hands on and I have experienced it in practise and it works.I have previously done hypnosis and NLP training so it was not new to me however it was to the point. I practise now and hope it opens everyones eyes as the book of how to and how not to with hypnosis.

For those who have not been doing the life changing therapy discussed in the book (such as age regression), this book will give them what they need to do the work with confidence.

Step by step detailed information on how, what, when, and were to practice hypnotherapy. I find it to be so detailed that I'm always looking up one thing or another. Not only have they detailed secrets about hypnotherapy, but also provide super information on running your office.Calvin & Jerry have done a great service to all hypnotherapists and future therapists the by having this book available to all that would like to have thier sessions progress to the next level and far beyound.
