Summary: Sandry's Book or The Magic in the Weaving
Review: Four people: Daja, Sandry, Tris and Briar; are brought to Winding Circle Temple, for each of them it is their last resort. Each of them from so different ways and stations in life, but joined together by their powers, that none of them know anything about.

Summary: Is it just me...
Review: I don't know about everybody else, but I just thought that this book wasn't quite as good as the her other books. I love to read Tamora Pierce (thus the reason I got the books) and I thought this one would be as good or better than the others. At times, however, I felt like I was dragging myself through it to get to a more interesting part. Another thing that I have always had a problem with Tamora Pierce and even more so in this book is having to read certain parts again because she has difficulty describing the situation. Call me stupid, but this is how I felt in the last scene for all of you who have read it. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was good and I love Tamora Pierce and all but I don't think that this book quite met my expectations. I'm a little dissapointed. Maybe it's just because I was reading another book for part of the time by my all-time favorite authors Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. I thought that this might be the reason because after I finished the other book, I started to read Sandry's Book faster than before. I think the characters are very interesting and definitely not what I expected. Usually the characters in books are either friend, enemy, or unrelated. Briar, Sandry, Daja, and Tris (listed in order of favorite to least favorite) aren't really friends, aren't enemies and aren't unrelated. I think that the book was a little worse because the rating is 4½ stars instead of 5. That might be misleading, however, because the rating for The Protector of the Small only got 4 stars when I feel it deserved 5. I recommend that Tamora Pierce fans and other fantasy fans read this book but if you have never read fantasy before, don't judge it on this book.

Summary: Wonderful!
Review: This book is such an emotional book, with fear, happiness, and sadness rolled into one. You can really empathize with Sandry and put yourself in her place. A really great book!

Summary: Magical*
Review: I just loved this book! I love all of the Circle of magic books, but this just about tops it! When I held it in my hands I almost felt as though I was holding magic! The plot is wonder ful and I love how Tamora introduces the charaters. Rosethorn is a wonderful touch because if you didn't have her the world would seem to mushy. Read this book if you can read my review. You can thank me later!

Summary: Hmm... Briar+Sandry=? My imagination?
Review: Well, well... I wonder if there is another tamora pierce maniac such who loves her books as much as i do... well, i guess there are... hmm... another great book! i loved it!At first, I didn't know waht to expect from it, but, when i read it, I was hooked. I don't mind the new setting, (out of tortall) it's great. Actually, i had to read this book several times to get in all the details. I have a tendency to read the book really fast to see what happens, then read it again for all the details. My favorite character is BRIAR! such an interesting person. Also, I have this soft spot for people who are tough on the outside, but has a soft, nice spot inside. I like the other characters as well, but especially sandry... yup. i am another one of those desperated Sandry+Briar fans. i am now hooked onto the circle of magic series. i can't wail till i get my hands on daja's book, and BRIAR's book. and the circle opens. Man, it is another one of tamora pierce's great works. she is one of my favorite authors. hmmm. I really wish that Sandry and Briar get together. I ahve this terrible feeling that they won't because tamora has a strange tendency sometimes. I didn't mind Daine and Numair, since I thought they were meant for each other, but I thought that Alanna would match with Jonathon. WHich he didn't. I got over it because i used to love Jon, until the 3rd and 4th book. WEll, that's not my point. THe only reason that I don't like Tris at times is because I am afraid that she would get Briar. Maybe his "girl" student would get him, if Tamora does make it that way. Or, maybe no one would get Briar. I wonder what would happen to Sandry. Sorry, I have a tendency to blab on. I love Tamora Pierce's books. THey really have some tang to them which draws me in. There. I'll stay quiet now. Oh yeah, if you think about it, the magic stuff are really cool. Also, I like how the four combine their powers and work togther. ANd Niko is cool. I thought maybe Tris would pair up with him later on, but I decided that he was too old. ANyway, there already was a teacher, student romance. Hmm, thinking about it, there already was a noble, thief relationship, also. Gosh, I am not a romance freak. I like Tamora Pierce's book a lot. I am just too cheap to get the hardback editions... that's sad. Well, I recommend this book to anyone who can understand that tamora pierce tang... some people complain of easy language and vocab... think it this way. my english teacher said that the simplest and most descriptive is the best. Hmmm... I do wish for Sandry and Briar to get together... I didn't realize that there was anyone else out there who wanted that... I thought it was my own wacky idea and imagination, but i guess it wasn't.

Summary: Compeling!
Review: I literaly couldn't put down this book. The way they faced their fears and helped one another out. It gives a good description on how the chareters came to be at the winding circle and how they got to know each other. Although this book isn't as good as the rest of the series. It was still amazing!
