Rating: Summary: Surprisingly pleased! Review: For a skeptic, I found Hillary's book well written, albeit some parts ghost-written (as is very common even with prolific writers). Throughout the book, with its vast recent history and current events, there is a thread of integrity that amazed me. If this book is a sample of her campaign style (what campaign?), then bring it on!
Rating: Summary: Non Fiction? I don't think so ! Review: I found myself fighting to stay awake for this one. Some of her stories are believable but some just are false, and they can be proven to be so. My advise- save your money or give what you would spend on this book to chairity !
Rating: Summary: This book is an insult to the American public Review: Rehash, old news, shameful political promotion, and lies that attempt to make the "author" appear a victim and the human answer to all social ills. Where are the true facts? It was a gift, read most and put it in the trash. Save your money!
Rating: Summary: Kaching! aka Who is the biggest liar? Review: How is it that the smartest woman in the world is a VICTIM? Come now, after how many lies, how many women....? After the blue dress came to light, she still claimed to be "gasping for air" at the President's admission - more accurately she was "grasping for straws"... She's probably still wondering how that vast right wing conspiracy put Bill's DNA on the blue dress.... Could it be that the smartest woman in the world is a weak defenseless victim or very calculating? Hello?
Rating: Summary: Okay...What Did I Expect???? Review: Let me make this quick: 1) Hillary is an interesting, accomplished woman in her own right (read the pre-Bill stuff); 2) She knows and we know that she wasn't "shocked and gasping for air" when she found out about Monica. She was probably really mad! However, she knows and we know that only a suicidal politician would admit otherwise. (What was she supposed to say, anyway?) 3) She should have waited until after her two terms as president were finished before writing this book. Then, she could have written it honestly and it probably would have won a Pulitzer Prize! For those who have not yet bought the book: Don't bother, unless you are really and truly interested in learning about the pre-Bill Hillary (which is impressive).
Rating: Summary: Save Your Money Review: Tell me about Juanita Broderick, tell me why it took longer to locate the Whitewater files then it did weapons of mass destruction, tell me about Vince Foster's "suicide." Rehabilitation of Billary's image for 2008. Appropriate for sheeple and those with IQ's of under 10.
Rating: Summary: The Reviews are more interesting than the book. Review: When a conservative publishes a new book, like a Coulter, D'Sousa, Hannity, etc., the liberals create a flood of 1-star reviews without reading a word of the book in question. When a liberal writes a best seller (which is a very rare event), conservatives produce a flood of 1-star reviews without reading the book. You can't call it even though, since far more conservative books make the best seller lists than do liberals' books. I am a conservative. I have a whole library of books about the Clintons that I have read over the past 10 years. My conclusions are that the Clintons have been a disaster for this country. Bill Clinton's foreign policy was one of appeasement and cowardice. He got credit for a period of economic prosperity that he had nothing to do with. He got no blame for an economic slump that he had much to do with. Neither he nor his co-president Hillary (in charge of Domestic affairs and God knows what else) ever told the truth in their eight years together in the White House. They used to say that Reagan was the teflon President, but the Clintons hold the world record for surviving scandals that would have sunk any other politician. Liberals don't read conservative books because they are afraid of the truth. Conservatives won't read the propaganda works of Bill or Hillary Clinton because they have had their fill of Clinton lies. Aren't eight years of them enough? It is amazing how gullible half the people in this country are-people who "love and admire" the Clintons--the worst role models for marriage, much less politics-in the history of the world. I suggest that all those admirers of the Clintons who keep writing these 5-star reviews gather up their courage and read some of those books which tell the truth about Bill and Hill. Check the documentation and see if you can refute the unpleasant facts those books reveal. You won't be able to do it. No one has yet been able to refute any of it. Some people seek after truth (mostly Conservatives) and others are willingly deceived and led down the primrose path to destruction. The Democratic Party has been thoroughly Clintonized, meaning that no lie is too big to use in their quest for power. The liberal socialist agenda of the Democratic party is one of the greatest dangers confronting this country. The liberals are wrong on every issue of importance. If you Clinton lovers ever have your wish for a President Hillary, you will deserve the disaster that she brings on you and this country. The rest of us won't deserve it and we will will be trying hard to make sure it doesn't happen. May God grant wisdom to the American people and continue to bless the United States of America. (Yes, we conservatives still believe in God).
Rating: Summary: Same ole same ole Review: Hillary has been Hillary for as long as we've known her. This book is just a rehashing of old news and the whining never stops. If Hillary was still holding on to any credibility, this book removes the rest. The Clinton's have had their spotlight and playing the role of victims is old. Save your money.
Rating: Summary: LOL! Review: Yep, Hillary was shocked that Clinton had cheated on her, even though he had done so before in Arkansas, White House aides were already admitting to the relationship, and the sperm evidence on Ms. Lewinsky's dress had already been in papers for weeks. Hillary is clearly presenting herself as a fool, and making fools out of many others while she does so. I suppose if you're a diehard Hillary fan you'll at least enjoy the rest of the book, but to the general public, stay away, far, far away...
Rating: Summary: ugh. Review: thank heavens I read a friend's copy. Pure spin, few real insights into the author's mind or heart, from the woman who hopes to be the first female President. Save your money.
