Summary: A bore.
Review: This is worst book I have ever read. What an absolute waste of paper

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fantastic
Review: I got so caught up in this book that I started to act like the main character (which isn't necessarily a good thing). The writing was great, the story was great, and Wally Lamb sure knows how to end a book!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I thought the book was fantastic beyond all expectations!
Review: From the opening page of this book I was hopelessly hooked. It is a masterpiece, with surprises around every corner, content that made me weep and cringe, and a writing style that flows smoothly and keeps the reader intrigued every moment. I have already recommended the book to everybody I know, and I know I will read it again and again, enjoying it just as much every time. Wally Lamb, I commend you, you have won my heart! Thankyou.

Summary: This book is awesome!
Review: I really enjoyed this book. I cried at some parts! The characters were so human and realistic! I read it in 3 days - couldn't put it down! I passed the book on to my colleagues. I was sad when I finished reading it.

Summary: FANTASTIC!
Review: One of the best books I've read in a long time. Wally Lamb's development of Dominick was incredible - by the end of the book I was able to correctly anticipate his thoughts and actions! Although the plot proceeded slowly, it just made the read sweeter because it allowed me to wonder what would happen next. I stayed up until 3:00am just to finish it! I would HIGHLY recmmond this book to anyone in the mood for a completely satisfying read.

Summary: Very well written
Review: I could not put this book down! It held my interest all the way through. The ending, however, came together a bit too perfectly. The book is definitely worth a read, though.

Summary: Outstanding
Review: I know that a book has made an incredible impression on me when I near the conclusion and I am depressed. I savored every word of the last fifty pages or so, attempting to delay its inevitable end. Knowing a character so well you understand their every word and are able to predict their behavior is the mark of a well developed story and character. Such is the case with Lamb's delivery of Dominick and the events in his life. You don't need to have the time to read this 900 page book, you will FIND the time when you start reading- I promise, you will have difficulty putting it down.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The characters jumped right out at me and stayed with me long after I finished reading it. I actually cried at different parts of the book; the injustices seemed so real and cutting. I had everything to do not to discuss each chapter with my daughters, to whom I passed the book along. One daughter read it and had the exact same reaction that I had.

Reading a book like this makes it difficult to get into another book. I just loved it and have recommended it to everyone I know. I look forward to Wally Lamb's next emotionally draining 5-star gift to the reading public.

Summary: Awful. This book will help anyone fall right to sleep.
Review: This book was painfully slow. The twists and turns of the plot could have been compelling if the author kept the story interesting. Instead, it was pitiful.

Summary: Best Book that I Read This Summer
Review: If you have the time to spend in a great story, this is the one for you. Admittedly 900 pages seems a little daunting but sometimes those books are the best. This was the case here. The characters are human and imperfect and understandable. The story slows down around page 700 or so but it picks up again towards the end. I finished it fast and enjoyed every minute. My TV hasn't been turned on in 8 or 9 days.
