Summary: Excellent
Review: After reading some of James Patterson's books I was hooked on his writing. But this book took a very different approach to his writing. Each time I picked it up to read it, I did not want to put it down. It was excellent from the first page to the last page. It was a story that was happy and sad. I really enjoyed the book and I would highly recommend it to anyone that likes Mr. Patterson's books.

Summary: Not Alex Cross But Good Enough!
Review: I am an avid fan of James Patterson. I wait impatiently for all of his books. WHen i heard of a "non mystery" i didnt know how i would like it. Well, just like all of Pattersons other books, I sat on the couch and couldnt put the book down. I cried my eyes out for about the last fourth of the book or so. It was one of the BEST books i have ever read, and not just of Patterson's. I recommend this book to everyone. I sent it home for my roommates mother to read, and she felt the same way. We talked about it so much that my roommate, who isnt a pleasure reader, picked it up and started reading and actually enjoyed and FINISHED the book! Good Job James Patterson!

Summary: Great Read!
Review: I found this to be a great book! Very easy to read, easy to understand. The diary format makes it flow really well and read very quickly. There are good details, the book gives off almost an aura of happiness until the end. The love between the two characters is so vibrant the reader can practically feel it. Because it is written as someone's diary, you see all the personal thoughts and feelings and really feel as if you get to know the characters. It's impossible to put down, can easily be finished in one day. It's a definite love story, so if you aren't into the mushy love stuff, I wouldn't recommend it, but if you enjoy those kind of books, definitely pick it up!

Summary: Cherish
Review: This book gave me insight into the natural surroundings I take for granted. There is a definate twist in the plot, which keeps you on your toes. I have read other Patterson novels, and feel he writes women and emotions well. I would never had guessed he could write a book like this; I would like to see more books like this.

Summary: Better than Bridges of Madison County
Review: I think Patterson read Bridges of Madison County and thought, "Heck, I can do better than that!" and he did. It is not a typical James Patterson, but it's a better romance/tearjerker than most. It does not involve cheaters. It DOES have a perfectly charming and surprising description of the great love that can occur between a mother and child. And, best of all, it ends rather well. I hate sad endings.

Summary: Casserlypd.7
Review: James Patterson portrays a woman perfectly in Suzanne's Dairy for Nicholas. He keeps making you glance back at his picture to make sure a woman really didn't really write the book. This book made you feel every single kind of emotion. James Patterson developed the story in a way where at first you hated the main character, Matt, for being a "typical" guy who cheats on his wife and child, and than you realize you had him all wrong and realize true love can happen twice. This book takes you through all the stages of love and life. You can taste, smell, and feel the ocean breeze coming from Martha's vineyard. James Patterson is very good at describing the scene and feeling everything that is felt with the characters. I feel, as if I was in the book, I was one of Katie's friends. I was there when she found the diary, when she found out she was pregnant and when Matt came back to her. James Patterson is a wonderful author who just proves it to you in this book. He creates this scene of magic, and takes it away, but shows you life isn't all happiness or sadness it's a mixture of both.

Summary: FANTASTIC BOOK!
Review: I am a James Patterson fan , and this book is very unlike James Patterson's usual style of writing. He outdid himself this time. This book was a quick read, but very long in the thought it inspired. This truly is a book that I will read over and over. If you want to put life in perspective, this will do it. Thank you James Patterson.

Summary: One of the Best Books I Have Ever Read
Review: I loved this book - I don't have a lot of time to read - but I made time for this book. It was excellent. I gave it to my sister while we were on vacation she as well could not put it down.

Summary: A Romance with a Poetic Cadence
Review: Because I had not read any of this author's previous works, I had no expectations. I do admit that I was fearful it would be like some of Nicholas Sparks' recent books - but was pleasantly surprised. This is a delightful, well written, insightful book -perhaps a tad sappy, but kindly so - and the short chapters had a cadence that was almost poetic. A heartfelt kind of love story you might hope someone would write for you someday?

Summary: Definately off the beaten path
Review: First off, I have read every Patterson book to date and have completely enjoyed them. However, when this book came along, I was skeptical, purple cover and all. Having read and loved John Grishim's A Painted House, I thought that I would give this one a try too. Suzanne's Diary is a book that leaves me with mixed reviews, mostly good. I can say that it is entirely fast paced, like his other novels. I can say that it is a warm feeling book, however not to the extent that A Painted House is.

Overall, I am glad to have purchased and read it. I would also recommend it.
