Rating: Summary: keeped me in total supense Review: This book is great! I could'nt put it down!!! I thought about it at work, and tried to think who the killer was. Even when I was at work this book had me thinking about it throughout the day. I could'nt wait to get home to read where I left off the evening before. I am hooked!!! Next I am going out to buy "To Kiss A Spider", I am sure it will be just as captifating.
Rating: Summary: unforgettable Review: I read kiss the girls twice and saw the movie three times.everytime i saw the movie it was with someone different and i had to ask them if it was good because it didn't do the story justice at all.The book was so detailed on the characters developement. There were so many things the movie didn't touch or explain so if you saw the movie and don't think it will spoil the book think again. You will forget the movie but will never forget the book. The movie made the guys out to be not so bad where the book pulled no punches.granted there are things the movie couldn't show but it didn't have to ignore the story.great book get it and read it again and again. you'll thank me.
Rating: Summary: It made my heart skip a beat!!! Review: This was the most exiting and best book I've ever read. It was always one step ahead and it kept me eager to read the next chapter.
Rating: Summary: Very suspenseful and satisfying Review: This is one of the best books I've read this year. It moves right along and the plot keeps getting better. I was *sure* I knew the identity of the killer at least three times in this book (wrong every time), and the ending was not one of those cop-out happy endings where nobody has any problems sleeping at night. This book was better than the movie, better than anything I have read by John Saul or Dean Koontz, and well worth a re-read.
Rating: Summary: Suspenseful, but barely enough to make me finish it. Review: This mystrey/thriller started out much better than it ended. Continuously interesting but not riveting. I thought it was an anticlimatic ending. Patterson's "Along Came A Spider" was much better.
Rating: Summary: WOW!!!! Review: Wow KISS THE GIRLS is the greatest. I've read it once and would love to read it again. There is one scene I can't get out of my head, the snake scene, that girl had to be really upset. I have friends that say Patterson is trash, but really they aren't. Patterson is the greatest thing in the world. I look for copies of KISS THE GIRLS everywhere. I especially like Alex Cross he's just great, he is such a great detective.
Rating: Summary: Superb Review: I made sure I read this book before seeing the movie. I usually don't read thrillers, but this came highly suggested by a friend. Boy, was I ever happy. The fact that Patterson chose to write each chapter in a short format only added to the suspense. I finished this book in 2 days and can't wait to read more by Mr. Patterson. He has opened my eyes to a whole new form of literature.
Rating: Summary: A bit of a let down... Review: After reading Along Came a Spider, I eagerly looked for other Patterson novels. Kiss the Girls was not quite as good, but was still difficult to put down, just because of the style of writing. Even though I had it figured out sooner than Patterson seemed to think I would, there were still loose ends I had to finish the book to sort out. However, I thought it was a little sad that he couldn't remember his own heroine's eye color. The movie was not as good as it should have been (maybe next time I can direct) Anyone who saw the movie and liked it should read the book, too. As long as you have no problem with snakes...
Rating: Summary: couldn't put down if my house was on fire! Review: This is my first James Patterson book that I have read, and trust me, it won't be my last. I saw the movie first and thought it was pretty cool. I'm into this thing where I see a movie and if it's a book and I want to read it, then I just go out and buy the book. Well with this book, I could not stop reading it. The 2 and half page chapters filled with suspense just caught me in their web. If I could have, I would have read this book in one day. The more I read, the faster reader I become, but this time, I didn't want to read fast. I loved all the suspense and drama in this book and I had to fight with myself before I put it down and actually went to sleep. I have to admit, it is very graphic and disgusting at a lot of parts, things people wouldn't even dare show in a movie. But other than that, I thought it was amazing! It was very hard to sleep at night after reading some of it though. It scared me! The idea of a kidnapper/killer/rapist hiding behind the walls in your house is terrifying! A+, 10, ****! Great piece of work! END
Rating: Summary: I couldn't put it down. Review: I've read that review one too many times: "I couldn't put it down!" After a while, it becomes akin to the boy who cried wolf. I've never truly believed it. Never once before had a I ever read a book where I found myself going, "Ooh, to hell with that sleep thing, I've got to finish this book!" Until "Kiss The Girls" came along. I had about 130 pages left of the book. And keep in mind that this was the hardcover edition and the paperback was still only a twinkle in the publisher's eye. No movie. Still haven't seen the film to this day. All I had to go on was the notion that Denzel Washington sure would make an excellent Alex Cross! So I come home at about 3:30 in the morning from my night job, and I figure I'll read a few pages before I go to bed. Next thing I know, it's going on 6:00 and I can't put the damn thing down because I've got to know who the killer is already, dammit! I realize that this book won't be everybody's cup of adrenaline, but for those of you who like a good slice-and-dice murder mystery, they don't come any better than "Kiss The Girls." END
