Summary: Thriller from beginning to end!!
Review: This book had me attached to it till the last page. The plot is full of twists and turns that keep the reader on the edge of their seat. The characters draw you into the book so you feel like you're there watching the action first hand. Excellent book! I'd recommend it to anyone. I can't wait to read the more James Patterson books!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A real page turner!
Review: True, I found Alex Cross to be streotypically macho most of the time. I also thought a few times, "Patterson is a white guy trying very hard to create an African American guy". But I have to say, this book is one hell of a ride! I may even read another book by Patterson... after I make sure the doors are locked!!!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Do not even open this book!!!
Review: "Kiss The Girls" was easily one of the sloppiest books I have read in quite a long time. The chapter are only 2-3 pages long and nothing is fully explained. Alex Cross is a great character but it would be a lot better if we got to know more about him. The enemies are one-dimensional and never fully given an opprtunity to shine. I hated everything about this book and I just wasted valuable time reading it.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Silly plot, one-dimensional characters
Review: This book is one of these you have to keep on reading because you can't believe anyone can publish anything so inane, inconsistent and idiotic. As a thriller it just doesn't work: the plot is bloated with errors that not even an amateur mystery writer would make, and it features the clumsiest police officers since the Keystone Kops. They follow one of the killers home, accompanied by a potential victim, and then they let him run away. A victim of one of the killers escapes, and no one thinks about making an organized search of the place where she's been found. They don't even guess that the "disappearing house" is underground, which of course is completely obvious. They allow the girl who has barely escaped from the killer's clutches to go back to her own house (and she justifies this move with her "stubornness." And the author wants to make you believe she's oh-so-bright) and then they don't put her under surveillance, with the absolutely obvious consequences. And so on, it is really insulting to one's intelligence. But this is not the worst: the worst are the totally shallow, cardboard characters. The killers are just stupid, cruel and except for a few clumsy passages, no information is offered about what makes them tick. The good guys are as full of mush as a McDonald's commercial (to demonstrate that they are good guys, see?). I think the worst of all is Cross's niece Naomi, who looks like a mixture of an angel and a fifties sitcom kid. In order to reinforce this idea of other-worldly goodness and innocence, she (allegedly a full-grown woman, bright, intelligent, Law Review, etc, etc, etc) is saddled with being called "Scootchie," as if she were a four-year old or a puppy. In any case, she is just a pretext for Cross's involvement. He later gets into a thing with Kate McTiernan and only from time to time worries about whether she's alive (he certainly doesn't do a lot to find her until about 500 pages later (or so they seem)). In short: I am furious I wasted my time and my money with this book. If you are interested in serial killer stuff, do yourself a favor: try Thomas Harris anytime (The Silence of the Lambs, and, especially, Red Dragon); he does deliver the money.

Summary: This book is tough to put down once you get started!!!!
Review: Kiss the Girl is a tense novel which gives you the thrill. The story begins when an homicidal maniac who abduct pretty intelligent girls, which he keeps in his house that is hidden in the dark forest. Most of the detective can hardly trace back of what he does, because he is good.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A breathtaking thriller, right to the end.
Review: I am an avid reader of thrillers but never have I read such a brilliant book. I just couldn't put it down I had to know what happened next. It is the first book I have read by this author but it will not be the last. I would wholeheartedly recommend it as a must read

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: dark and disturbing
Review: I have always enjoyed reading suspense novels, but after I read Kiss the Girls I fervently wished I had never opened the book. It contains some of the most disturbing scenes I have ever read, which are now indelibly imprinted on my memory. I don't mind books with dark themes, but I believe the author pushed the envelope on this one. I feel that most readers, particularly women, will find this book quite offensive and disturbing in parts.

Summary: SKIP THE MOVIE--READ THE BOOK!!
Review: The book was absolutely intriguing. The style of writing is amazing. Patterson uses short, intense chapters that keep the reader interested. This book is so lively. I am currnetly in the process of writing a paper for my English that addresses what a wonderful book Kiss the Girls is and how it is much better than the movie!!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the greatest suspense novels ever written.
Review: James Patterson is a fantastic writer and should be commended for the amazing work that he has done. I just recently finished "Kiss the Girls" and "Jack and Jill" and let me tell you I can't wait to start on "Along Came a Spider". Amazing!!!

Summary: Couldn't put it down!!
Review: Let's see I discoved this book quite by accident. I'm not a fan of thrillers or serial killer books in general. My Roomate was reading this book and told me it was amazing, she raved about it. Then one lazy Saturday afternoon she went out and left the book on the coffee table. I picked it up figuring I'll read the first chapter, to see if I like Patterson's style and maybe I'd borrow when Linda finished. Well, three chapters later I put the book down. When Linda got home I told her she had to hide the book or I would steal it,and she wouldn't get it until I was done. Well I read it in one night, when I finally got it from her. I went out and bought myself a copy. I havent' seen it in four months it's one battered little book my now at least three family have read it. Everyone Loved IT!! The movie does not do Patterson's compelling characters credit, Alex Cross is a complex and amazing character who you can't help but love from the first time you meet him. All the main characters are wonderful, you come to love Cross and his family. I've read all the Alex Cross books by Patterson and can't wait for the next. This was my first Patterson,I've since read everything of his currently in print. Kiss the Girl is my favorite book of all time.
